I'm planning on getting Hubby a nice bottle of whiskey/bourbon, just have to find a good one. I know nothing about it and what's considered really good, or really bad lol. I also found a pair of Vintage whiskey glasses that have the liberty bell and constitution on them. They look pretty cool.
The hard part is his birthday is before FD so...now I gotta think of something else. I may get him the Fall Out 4 board game, Or a nice dice cup because he bought a new game that involves dice. He's pretty hard to buy for.
My hubs is pretty hard to buy for too. Plus, DH is more into being with family on that day (I'm the total opposite haha) so we try to find stuff to do that we will all enjoy.
I'm taking DH camping father's day weekend. I was all prepared to go tent camping 20+ weeks pregnant in the middle of June in Texas, when DH suggested we take my parents RV. I was like "Bless you!". There is a state park about 1.5 hour away that offers RV hookups. Now DH and DS can be outside walking around and I'll sit my happy ass in the RV with A/C, thank you very much.

Oooh camping I miss it so much, I would love to take DH camping, it would be a tent though lol, no RV for us. Only other option is a super expensive cabin so I am not sure how I feel about it.
I went and got some chicken tenders yesterday at lunch. The server went
”you want chips and pickles?” ”no, I’m good. Thank you.” ”what about the baby? The baby wants them!” ”no, thanks though.” *walking away* ”here, take the chips for baby!”
dude, no. If I wanted chips, I’d have taken them, but I didn’t. Don’t tell me what this child wants to eat because I still am the one eating it (I’m extremely particular on what type of chips and pickles I eat)

Check out some of your state parks! Our state parks have a few bare bones cabins with A/C and they are like $30/night. They booked quick though :P

Watching my youngest brother graduate last Friday spurred me to reenroll and finish my associates. I know I'm close. I just need to get it done. Just got my "reacceptance" email and next week (2 of my 3 employers are taking vacation, the other employer is my dad, haha) I'll be going down to campus to figure where to pick back up.
I'll be spending today applying for FAFSA (although we make too much) and navigating the student loan area

@nachellebeck13 congratulations on deciding to finish your degree. I get the student loan stress. When I had DS I told DH I didn’t want to go back into my career. He asked what I really wanted to do I gave him an answer without any hesitation and he said I needed to do it. See me switching careers at 30, I got my Associates and will be getting my Bachelors after this one. It’s worth it.

Since 3rd grade I had wanted to be a teacher. Then I narrowed it down to History Education 8th-12th.
Stopped school when I had DS and now I'm going back for my degree in Accounting. I do accounting work now for my parents business so I figured why not.

@SLou24 Have a great time! The iPad was a lifesaver for us with DS when we flew last. Along with the toddler volume control headphones.
I ate my lunch and feel unsatisfied still. I really want to run to Starbucks for a salted cold foam cold brew but it will probably cause me to exceed my caffeine allowance for the day.
@steminist, eat that lunchable with pride! I recently rediscovered lunchables and have had a few in the past couple weeks. I love the nachos one, LOL 🙈 what kind do you have today?
@Cass005 my SO loves fallot! We have the fallout Yahtzee and Monopoly! And lots of fallout collectibles 😂 For Father's day I'm gonna try to get him some tools for the garage, so he doesn't have to run to his best friends all the time😂 and some more car tools. He's easy to shop for, except everything he wants is expensive😂
FD in Germany is an excuse for the dads to meet other dads, take lots of beer in souped-up red flyers along for the ride, and get wasted while "hiking":
I'm getting SO a keychain with "these little monsters love you" engraved on one tag, and then three separate smaller tags with the names we had for our kids before they were born on them.
My chiro got a new receptionist who still hasn’t gotten the memo of “you squeeze the pregnant ladies in ASAP!” that he has with all his pregnant patients 😪 I have to wait until Monday to get my hip pushed back into place. Send fake wine and back rubs
On some good news, DH has finally scheduled his ✂️✂️ consult! We won’t have it done until after DD is here, but at least the consult will be done before then. (I have implemented a no snip? No touch! rule for post delivery 🤣. DNW Irish twins and no more BC for me)

My SO and I only want two kids.. he will also be getting the ✂️ Sometime after our DD is born. At first I was going to get my tubes tied, but we agreed that him getting the procedure is less invasive.
I’m late to chime in, but my MD was good. DH didn’t plan anything, but I’m not really upset because that’s just how he is. Plus we were away on a great vacation all week so the day kind of snuck up on both of us. We had no plans and then made them spontaneously throughout the day. We walked to breakfast and the farmers market and playground in the morning. Then I took a nap while DH attempted (unsuccessfully) to get DS to nap. Then we made dinner reservations at a place nearby with a great view of the river and downtown. Then I got a sweet photo with me and DS (I don’t get in front of the camera as much as I probably should) so that was nice too. After bedtime we had mini Klondike bars for dessert and watched GOT. ☺️

I’ll have them removed if I end up with a c section. I won’t do it outside of that because it involves going under general.
Ideal, DH will have it done around the 7-10w PP mark while I’m still on leave, cause who are we kidding, we’re not really starting to do anything until closer to 3m PP
@mrsinterweb That sounds like an awesome MD! And celebrating a good photo of you with your kid is something I 100% relate to. I need to tell DH to start taking more pictures of us bc I have so many of the two of them and not many of me with him!
Had a scare last night. Gushed something that was not urine (all signs pointed to amniotic fluid). Rushed over to L&D to get checked out. Thankfully all tests were negative for amniotic fluid as well as any type of infection. Baby girl had a strong heartbeat and was wiggling around on the U/S.
Wiped me out. I went to bed at like 8 with DS and probably could have slept till 10 am this morning.

@nachellebeck13 I'm so glad to hear everything's okay. If you can I would take today off. When I had my scare in March the next day I just had no motivation.
Thank you ladies. Today is work from home day so I'll be taking it easy. Probably checking out early.
I had an OB appt scheduled for tomorrow so I'll probably get another ultrasound with her (still monitoring Baby A's re-absorption progress, OB on call last night couldn't see any of Baby A).
Just one of those "I have no idea what your body is doing" anomalies.

@Cass005 aww I'm sorry! Our Spencers is an hour away as well as any other big store😂 good luck though! GameStop's carry game merchandise, he got me Legend of Zelda cups and ornaments for Christmas last year from there! I forgot we also have fallout operation! So if you guys like board games there's plenty of those!! @nachellebeck13 I'm so sorry you had that scare! Hope you get feeling better today!!!
@nachellebeck13 so scary, glad everything is fine!! Was it just discharge?
I had a similar moment with my first at 26 weeks. It was a serious gush of fluid and I knew it wasn't urine. My OB met me at the ER and thankfully it was just discharge but was so surprising to me because it was completely clear and I never had any kind of discharge like that before. Pregnancy is full of surprises!
