@kbrown2385 are they sinus headaches or tension headaches? I've had to do a lot more sinus rinses than normal to keep my sinuses at bay... But I have had sinus issues forever. The other thing that helps sinus headaches is cold packs on the face/eyes. I get tension headaches too and I can give my neck a massage and that helps. DH is terrible at massages...
@kbrown2385 I second the caffine suggestion. For me, a small serving of coffee or tea is much quicker and much more effective than Tylenol has been for getting rid of headaches!
@stashattack@biolprof @ kategancla I skipped my coffee this morning so I’m sure that had something to do with it. I had a coke this afternoon and ds let me lay down in bed for a little while watched a movie and that seemed to help. I guess I’ll be having my coffee from now on. For the record, I don’t find Tylenol to be effective for much.
@kbrown2385 I agree with the caffeine suggestion, but for bad ones where nothing works for me I'll fill an ice pack with a combo of ice/water so it lays nice, put it on my head and take a nap. Obviously that's not always an option, but it works well for me when I can do it and nothing else has helped.
Anyone else have itchy skin?! My boobs, belly, legs, back.... you name it, it’s been itchy. Hubby thought I get poison ivy after a walk in the woods but it’s definitely not that! Also, as a first timer, I’m looking for recommendations for anti stretch mark creams.
@furmomtobabymomma yup! It’s just a pregnancy symptom for me. If you don’t already use a free and clear detergent that may help but some of us just get really sensitive skin. Last time I was evaluated for cholestasis and PUPPS but it was none of that and had no solution.
@furmomtobabymomma I also have been getting itchy too. Mostly my stomach, and sometimes my boobs. I’ve also noticed that during exercise, my legs now get itchy! I found that nothing prevented me from getting stretch marks in my first pregnancy. Unfortunately, genetics prevented me from preventing them lol
@Mslan@kategancla the problem isn't remember, the problem is somehow my body is rejecting the 3rd tablet hahah I feel like nausea or gagging should be over by now...or at least I wish it was!
@kbrown2385 thanks for the tip on those! Once I finish this bottle I will order those one's to see how they go. I think the trick for me will be to switch up the prenatal each time the bottle is done. Also for headaches I don't really do anything, if it's major that's when I see my chiropractor since I find that helps a lot.
Also if anyone is struggling with prenatal pills, I take a prenatal purefood supplement that goes into water and comes in a powdered form. It's expensive but I know I'm getting everything I need and you can feel the difference. https://www.pranin.com/shop/organic-vitamins-minerals/womens-purefood-a-to-z/ It's made out of all food so the dosage is different.
@furmomtobabymomma my itchiness is starting too. With DD my whole body was itchy it was the most annoying symptom, literally head to toe itch hahaha. There was no helping it.
@mommystuebs tough question. I know we had the same situation. My level did not go down to 0 and I had "retained tissue" and still became pregnant. So that could be tricky. Did you go all the way down to 0?
@furmomtobabymomma I never had itchiness with DD, but since yesterday my legs have been super itchy! I thought maybe I had been attacked by mosquitoes, but there are no bumps . I had no idea this was a pregnancy symptom...
Is anyone seeing or planning on seeing a chiropractor? I was so uncomfortable and in a lot of pain while pregnant with ds, I’m sure I’m in for it with two. Has anyone seen one in prior pregnancies?
@kbrown2385 I swear by a chiropractor.l during pregnancy. I go now every 4 weeks and it will eventually get closer together the closer along I get. By the end I remember going even twice weekly, and the day I was in labour. It just helps with the pain you are in from your body changing as well as preparing your hips and aligning everything for birth. Also it helped a lot with post partum
@c1kc1kpol1cn1k thanks! I think I’m going to try it! There is one in my area that specializes in pregnancy and pediatrics that is highly recommended. I’ll check her out! I had back issues after having my son I ended up in physical therapy. Hopefully I can get ahead of it this time around.
@kbrown2385 definitely give it a try you won’t regret it especially if they specialize in prenatal care. With DD I didn’t discover it till I was in so much pain and half way through second trimester.
@kbrown2385 - I saw a chiropractor for my DD in the 2nd trimester when I had a pinched nerve in my rib. I went to PT for it for a week or two, but basically there wasn't much they could do for it. DD was sunny side up in labor, and I often wonder if I had gone in for a few adjustments in my 3rd tri, if it would have helped anything. This time around, I might do one in 2nd tri, and 2-3 adjustments in 3rd tri.
Anyone get pains in their thighs while sleeping? I’ve finally gotten used to sleeping on my sides but I kept switching sides because my leg would start hurting! This just started happening last night
@c1kc1kpol1cn1k yes I sleep with a pillow between my legs. Sometimes it slips while I sleep. I also have a pregnancy pillow so maybe I’ll try that. I was so tired today!
@Xstatic3333 I’m just about out of my current detergent and will try one as you suggested. I seriously have no will power when it comes to the itchies! 🤞🏻
@blackcat01 I’ve had some stretch marks on my thighs since I was a teenager. I’m pretty sure I’m in the same boat in regards to genetics! I’m certainly going to try though!! 😬
I am almost 12 weeks, and yesterday, a day after sex, I had super sticky white discharge. Like SUPER sticky. Is this normal? Couldn’t find much on the internet. Anyone else experience this?
@lbolt2020 - I find I have a lot of different types of discharge during pregnancy. As long as it doesn't smell I wouldn't suspect yeast infection or anything like that. Maybe try to up your water intake and see if your discharge becomes more fluid and less sticky.
@Xstatic3333 sometime between 15-20weeks. I have the pregnancy pillow that goes all around me so I can lean on it kind of half oh my back half on my side. My last pregnancy I would get so sick if I was on my back I couldn’t even lay down for ultrasounds
@Xstatic3333 I’m so glad you asked! I thought it was sooner and I’ve been panicking because I keep waking up on my back. I was always a side sleeper so idk what’s going on!
@c1kc1kpol1cn1k my ob suggested I take OTC store brand gummy prenatals. You take 2 at a time and I haven’t had the nausea And what not I had from the prescribed ones. He said they work just as good and are cheaper
Is anyone else dealing with constant nausea? The way I described it to DH was that I'm either puking, dry heaving, or feeling like I'm recovering from a bad stomach virus. I have several meds that my OB prescribed, but those seem to be less effective lately. I'm at 12 weeks so I keep expecting it to let up, but no luck yet.

@EmilyE13 thank you for the tip! I definitely need to stick to the 3 a day since I find them so strong. I also only go for the ones with folate in them. Now I've switched to these: https://www.megafood.com/vitamins-supplements/multivitamins/baby-me-2-W1005.html over the weekend and seem to be a bit better.
