One day DS found one, and I wasn't paying attention, I just hear him say "say ahhhh" and so I open my mouth and I happen to look down just as he's sticking the pee end of the stick into my mouth. So, maybe that was a driving force to toss them 😂
@mrskoz428 OMG I know I kept the one from DD but I have no clue where it went! And I did a master overhaul when nesting while pregnant with her so I am now far enough removed where I hope I accidentally threw it out and it's not just sitting somewhere. The one from this pregnancy is in my cabinet still (with the 10 cheapies showing the gradual progression since I knew I was pregnant at 3+3 but didn't want to see a negative test). I will eventually throw them away. When you come home with a cute little hospital bracelet the positive test doesn't seem as important (IMO).
Private group sounds good to me too, but I have no clue how to run one.
@mrskoz428 I still have some in my drawer too that I will definitely eventually throw out. When we moved, we found a little package of wondfos that I had used with DD2 two years before... they definitely all went in the trash. I think the sentimental value fades when the baby arrives, but I also know people who hang on to things for way too long, like their baby's umbilical stump 🤢
@mrskoz428 I have all of my HPTs from this pregnancy stashed in a drawer in my bathroom 😂. I threw them all away from DD at some point. I need to suck it up and get rid of these, too.
@brie_and_almonds when DD’s umbilical stump finally fell off, I asked DH if he wanted to keep it and he was horrified. He unceremoniously tossed it into the diaper pail (she was on the changing table at the time)!
I’m happy to get the private group up and running, but I’m gonna need like 3 other mods/admins to help run it since my Bump time is so spotty. You guys just say the word, and I’ll work on it!

I have never created a positive pregnancy test, though this is my 2nd pregnancy. I did IUI both times, and every time I checked at home, it was a negative cycle. This pregnancy took 6 rounds (!!!!), and I'm certain only worked because I DIDN'T check before my blood test. Superstitious, I know.
@poshspice I've never had to admin anything except our Facebook page for my last group which was super low key. I have time, but I need to make sure I'm getting more family time than phone time, is it a big time commitment?
@eatinwatermelonseeds I’d say it’s sort of time consuming for the first few weeks while things are getting set up. After everything is settled down, not really. This group seems pretty low key compared to my last bmb TBH, so I feel like there’s not going to be much drama.

@mrskoz428 I’m sure everyone is different, but with my last pregnancy I didn’t care at all about the positive tests once the babies arrived. There were other cool little trinkets I couldn’t throw away—like their hospital bracelets, ultrasound photos, the hats they wore in the hospital, etc — but the days of early pregnancy didn’t carry a ton of meaning to me at a certain point and they just became something gross that had pee on them.
I couldn’t click on any of those groups either. I clicked on the link to All New Groups, and I was able to click on it after it popped up there. If it doesn’t work, I can try to troubleshoot after DD goes to bed!
I can click to the group using desktop vote on my phone but I can't see where you actually join....... ETA: a refresh of the page showed the pink join button 👍🏼

I JUST threw out my pregnancy test for this baby yesterday. DH was like “uh. What was that?” As I tried to discretely dispose of it. I still have DD’s umbilical stump though!
I cant remember who I’m supposed to tag about the curly stuff (dang 70 new comments), but v05 strawberries and cream was another one on my short list for co-washing. I’m sure I’d love miss jessie’s, but I already spent my hair product budget for the month ETA - @wishiwaspreggo
@missy052819 I just joined a curly group on Facebook and learned about the flax gel stuff. I’m focused on conditioning but I’m excited to see if my hair needs more protein and the flax gel looks like a cool home remedy!
