@emeraldcity603, I am SO relieved to hear that. I don’t blame you for crying - I did the same thing when I bled like I did with the twins. I know the bleeding is scary, but having a reason can be helpful, if that makes sense. I’m so, So glad things are good.

When I spoke to my dr she called it a threatened miscarriage. She also told me to rest for 3 days before going on my trip. So I guess I'm on bedrest for a few days.
I just wanted to chime in... I started spotting over the weekend which isn’t unusual for me in first trimester (I’m 10 weeks tomorrow) but still scary. Went on my app to see if an appointment was available with my doc and what do you know, I had a notification sitting there from 6 days before that they found I have a UTI. To say I was angry that no one tried to call me is an understatement but thankfully I am on antibiotics now. So an FYI, that spotting could potentially be a sign of many things, including a UTI (which I had not known before and The Bump’s article kindly informed me of today). 😊
@sparklingdiamond yes. After I did some reading on HCG levels I was confused on why they were testing them as well since they can start to drop at the end of the first tri. Which mine did and caused a lot of stress for quite a few hours until I was able to get in for an u/s. But everything with baby is ok. The bleeding is related to my placenta covering my cervix. Monitoring that and hoping it moves soon.
@emeraldcity603 so glad everything turned out ok for you! I know it can be a stressful time.
I'm going in for another US today just to see if my SCH is measuring smaller. I had some more bleeding the day before yesterday but it was brown so that is promising. I'm hoping I bled out some of the hematoma and it's smaller. I think the bedrest is helping. I have literally barely left my couch the last 2 days.
I plan to still go to CO but my mom has agreed to do all the heavy lifting with the kids. So I will literally just be sitting in the passenger seat resting the entire time.
I just got back from my US and it looks like it hasn't shrank but it hasn't grown any either. I will know for sure when my OB writes her note in my chart. It will post for me to see online.
No spotting, but since last night I had a pain start in my uterus by my right hip bone with dull back pain, over night it's gotten worse and spread across my whole front to the point where i can barely stand up straight. It hurts to cough, or sneeze. I was constipated but have had 3 bowel movements in the last day so I dont know if its constipation pains or something more. Debating getting ready to head for the hospital. This is baby 3, never had MC or ectopic pregnancies, or pains like this before at all. Not sure if I should be feeling concerned or what.
11 weeks tomorrow. Just had a screening ultrasound done, baby looks like it's where it's supposed to be in terms of uterus placement so not ectopic, and has a good heartbeat. Thank God. They are going to be sending me for more blood work and do a more in depth US to check my surrounding organs
@liamsmommy09 good, I’m so glad you went and got checked out. I didn’t want to worry you but your pain descriptions sounded a lot like my EP, but it could just be RLP too. I’m happy everything is in the right place but I hope they can help with the pain/discomfort
@emeraldcity603 they said it would be something that would resolve on their own, however I just had some bleeding. I'm hoping it's just what was in my stomach from the rupture. Keeping a close eye on it.
Back in ER. Had some heavy bleeding over night. Pain has subsided but beta levels have dropped. Had another US and am waiting for results. Fingers crossed. Getting extremely nervous now 😞

@liamsmommy09 Also, at 11 weeks, it could be very normal for your HCG levels to have already peaked and start to slowly decline. I am hoping this is what it is for you. hugs.

Oh no! Thinking of you @liamsmommy09 my didn’t rupture but I did have a slightly painful cyst with my first pregnancy that did clear on its own. I hope it’s the same for you!

Re: Spotting Support Group (*TW*)
The nurse told me that my SCH has shrank from the measurement of my last US but since I'm bleeding again it may be growing.
