@lyse01, it's probably super early for this but I'm an overplanner, haha... what about labor aides (exercise ball, stress ball, did you take music to play, etc) or just a general thread with advice? Even though I'm a STM also, labor terrifies me.
Like I said, it's probably early though - although I just realized most of us are at or close to 6 months already!
I took another look at the Pump thread and I think it covers accessories pretty well. Anyone disagree or have specifics that were missed there that they want to talk about?
When I get unblocked, I’ll post another product spotlight.
In the meantime, I’m kinda thinking we could use some Paperwork Drill or Parenting Decision Point posts: guardians, religious naming ceremonies, wills, health care directives, social media photos of kids/posting guidelines, savings accounts, college fund accounts, etc. Things that might require discussion, or at least coordination, with the SO. Thoughts?
Is there some way that this can get stickied, or are we only allowed to have a few permanent announcements? Now that I'm actually getting ready, I really want these threads easy to find!
Have we had a thread on formula? I will likely have to supplement or even exclusively formula feed especially if insurance won’t cover donor milk. I’ve heard German brands are the best but that seems inconvenient since I can only get them online. I’m looking for organic and as close to breast milk as possible.
@lyse01 no need to apologize! I’m very pro breastfeeding and will try to nurse as much as possible but I also have to be realistic after my breast reduction about the chances of actually producing milk. Apparently just because I’m Leaking a lot of colostrum doesn’t mean I’ll have a milk supply
