Has this really not been posted yet?
Here's a random thing: At the end of your pregnancy, your placenta alone will produce the same amount of estrogen that a non-pregnant woman produces in 3 years. I don't feel so bad about all the mood swings and late-night demands for DQ Blizzards anymore.
Pass the sheet cake.

@temmetime For my last job I could earn time as long as I was being paid. So I went six weeks paid and six weeks unpaid. I earned sick and vacation time for those six weeks but didn't for the second half. This time around I'm going fully unpaid and won't earn time or retirement credits. BOO.
@lippy625 too early for me personally, but I am a fall nutso freak, so I am decorating for fall now and will leave it up as long as possible in hopes that it scares off winter a little longer.

I passed my 1 hour GD test!!!!!! Whoop whoop!
But I guess I'm a little anemic, so I have to get more blood work before they tell me how much iron I need.
@texas_t wow! I can imagine how done you are right now. I did cleaning and organization for maybe half that time on Saturday and could not bring myself to do much of anything yesterday.
@temmetime I also do not earn PTO while on leave (mine is paid maternity leave for most of it, I think it's really just short term disability).
@lippy625 too early for me - I also love fall, so those decorations will be going up as soon as my house does not look like a tornado passed through the living room. Starting on the nursery this weekend = everything that was in that room is now in our living room. I need to figure out where it is all going. However, I also love Christmas, so those decorations will definitely be going up right after Thanksgiving.
@Jens_Hoes yay for passing the 1 hour!!
DS2 due 12/12/18
best money I spent for post pregnancy!! I’d recommend to every one!!
I did my GD test this morning but won’t find out my results until my apt next Thursday.
Im off this week and while DS napped I made muffins, winterized our shoes, did the dishes, vacuumed my basement and ate a yogurt parfait. Now I wish I napped instead.
@runrinserepeat Also interested curious in postpartum belly binders/bandits
@lippy625 I love Christmas, but I usually hold off until after Thanksgiving for decorating. I went into a store the other day and saw Christmas decor and it freaked me out about how soon this LO will be here!
@jens_hoes YAY!!
@temmetime Looks like I may have a girl this time
@texas_t Wow! You are such a good daughter! I bet you are exhausted today, though.
@runrinserepeat That is good to know, so I can definately blame the estrogen. Also, I ended up with a c-section last time and the hospital provided me with a belly binder. I loved it and wore it for about 6 weeks. As @jens_hoes said, that was my first child, so I do not have anything to compare it to, but it really helped me not feel like my insides were going to fall out. Maybe you could ask if your hospital can give you one.
ETA: along with the badge, they awarded me 20 points, which is apparently enough to bump me onto the leaderboard again
Also...this reminds me I never booked newborn photography for this LO and now I need to research and do that...

Speaking of appreciation, DH has a migraine today and still managed to do two loads of laundry, sweep, wash all the dishes & finally cleared off our banister that has had coats & sweaters on it for months. That is helping my Monday tremendously!! Maybe I'll have enough energy after work & DS' bedtime to actually initiate a lil somethin' somethin'
