@norahkate Yes! They are like $5/2 pair, and low rise (I believe they have another kind that go higher) and (at least the ones I have) are 1 black and 1 pink? 1st time I've bought them was this pregnancy (just sized up with DS). SO comfy!!!
@SweetSweetTooth - Yes, omg I hate that! The worst is when i was trying to do jump squats at work the other day (why? why did I think i could jump OR squat after 3 kids, lol) and omg I felt like i needed to have a diaper on. it was awful.
29+2 breathing is definitely a chore these days. I'm also over the whole pee situation. I just sit there a good few minutes just to make sure I've squeezed it all out. I've been wearing liners for months, but wondering if I need to switch to something more substantial. I've coughed so hard I've peed my pants TWICE even with a liner. Ugh why do I cough like this? Add to all of this my fatigue is really bad. I'm supposed to be packing for this move next month, but have only managed 3 boxes in 4 days...
27+2 I officially experienced lightning crotch yesterday randomly for about 4 hours yesterday! That is not fun...it was so bad a couple of times that DH wanted me to call my doctor to see if we should go in to see a doctor here in Chicago. Luckily thanks to you ladies I knew it was normal and it went away after I sat down for a bit and got baby to readjust.
I think I’m going to have to jump on this maternity underwear train. Last pregnancy I didn’t make the switch, but i currently have like 2 pairs of underwear that are actually comfortable.
My big issue is that my belly is so heavy and I can’t move faster than a turtle pace. I don’t remember this last time.

Um mine too... And I still have 11 weeks left?!?! I think my belly band is going to be a daily accessory soon, just a 5 min walk from my car to desk is awful.
DH bought tickets for our local Ren Fest, the best weekend for us to go is Aug 25/26 (we could go later but I'd rather not). I'll be 33 weeks. I love going, we have gone every year since we met (and got engaged there), but I'm kinda dreading how I'll manage. But! We have SS this year that weekend and we haven't gone the 3 of us yet.
@sammierose464 that sounds like fun and I'm sure it will be nice to have SS with you this time! Btw how did you make out with changing your allergy meds?
@nmadjeski nope. I was miserable by mid morning yesterday because I didn't have my Zyrtec. took it and was better within an hour or so. I was worse with the Benadryl. I've been ok itching wise the last two days, still itchy just not as bad. I've been putting lotion on more.
Perhaps this is a symptom-related post. Multiple times (probably 3 times during the pregnancy) I have woken up to pee in the middle of the night and when I try to go back to sleep start getting anxiety about my mom watching our dogs when I go into labor. Thinking of everything that could go wrong. From basics like my dog sleeping on the floor next to the bed and her and her bf aren’t used to that and just step on him or trip. Then all of a sudden I was in tears imagining the WORST when one of my dogs died and I was a mess then more of a mess thinking about my other dog not understanding where he went. This is like the 3rd time but that was the most devastating. These aren’t dreams, but maybe my minds running with my fears because this happens at about 2:30 am so I may be slightly asleep still in some part of my head. I finally was able to stop my head from running with these terrible thoughts and tossed and turned until at least 3:30. Fell back asleep at some point then up at 5:30 to start the day. Now I’m just in a depressed mood even though my fur babies are totally fine and when it’s daytime I’m not (nearly) as anxious about my dogs being cared for by my mom, although still slightly worried about it since she has never had a big dog, let alone 2 who aren’t very obedient, to care for. Maybe this is related to the crazy pregnancy dreams some people have.
@sammierose464 how is your water intake? That always helps my itching. I also itch when I’m stressed so many that’s a cause.
I usually get around 100oz a day (give or take). I think some of it may be stress related. I wasn't nearly as bad this weekend as I was the few days before at work, so I'll see this week.
I also spent all weekend cleaning, and will continue this week. Washed all the blankets and vacuumed, trying to get all the pet hair up. Since I'm a crazy person and keep pets even though I'm allergic.
Ok so the last 20 hours I have felt a small stabby pain next to my bellybutton when I move certain ways. It also hurts when I push on it, almost like a bruise would hurt. It’s an area the size of my fingertip, and other than those two scenarios, doesn’t hurt. Is this “a thing”? Did I pull a muscle cleaning too much yesterday? It doesn’t look bruised.
@sammierose464 if it makes you feel better, i am planning on tent camping in northern Michigan with my family that weekend. it is our cub scout super trip and two of our kids are in scouts...we have really been looking forward to this one, but i am starting to think that i am crazy (i am borrowing a cot and air mattress).
@sliztee that thought crossed my mind this morning as my hands started itching and my side was hurting lol.
@norahkate You are a trooper! tent camping during 4th of July was hard enough. Although, with an air mattress and my pillow it wasn't terrible. The worst part is having to pee so much! Where at in MI? Hopefully it'll be a bit cooler.
@sammierose464 Porcupine Mountains. I am hoping that at least the nighttime temps will be comfortable. I think it will be manageable, but have another ultrasound next week to be sure my placenta is where it should be (or not where it shouldn't). As long as all is good there and no other changes my dr is okay with me going though!
I was at a Packer game three days before my due date with our youngest, but that is a little different as far as proximity to help! (and it was a playoff game and we had great seats, so...)
I had a hell of a time sleeping last night. My acid reflux has gotten so bad as soon as I lie down it’s like lava coming up my throat. Tums just aren’t cutting it any more. I know some of you were taking Zantac. Any difference? I have an appt next Friday so if it’s still bad I’ll ask my OB about it then.
@norahkate The weather should be great up there. That's a gorgeous time of year to be there. Enjoy! I've only ever been there once, to see Lake of the Clouds.
The last two nights have been rough because my hips are just sore. I wake up with them aching from laying on them. I know I will appreciate that they've opened up, relaxed, whatever it is in 3 months when G comes out...but right now they make sleeping horrible.

I started Zantac last week after getting the OK from my OB. It's not perfect but it's helped a lot!

I had this same pain yesterday (28 weeks) and kept googling. I found nothing regarding what it was really, so far today though I haven't had the pain. Suggestions were things like appendix or gallbladder but the pains that described wasn't what I was feeling.
Horrible reflux, all day, every day. Still throwing up daily, thanks HG. Food is still a struggle for me too, I haven't found any one thing that just sounds good all the time and foods that I normally love and WANT to eat when I try to eat makes me gag. I have to pee all the time, and she must be laying on a nerve because I get awful vagina pains.
Oh and the latest...my hips hurt so bad. I am having a RCS, they don't need to spread, but of course they didn't last time causing the CS and they do this time.
+1 to hip pain and reflux. I don't know which one is worse. I will say taking a zantac before I go to bed at night has helped my reflux. Tylenol is stupid and doesn't to anything for pain.
Also feeling out of breathe all of the time. It's frustrating. And I'm exhausted.
I really haven't had much RLP this pregnancy but over the weekend, I must have tweaked or pulled something because I had an intense stabbing pain on my right side. It went away but man... ouch.
I have been SO itchy and dry all over my body this past week. I think the extreme heat or possibly my sunscreen is drying my skin out, and I haven't had enough water to rehydrate. Even though I'm peeing ALL THE TIME. I can't stand up without having to pee, and immediately after I pee, I feel like I still need to go. And nothing comes out the 2nd time. But magically when I sit down, it goes away, so I am assuming baby is just constantly pushing on my bladder when I stand. 3 more months of this?? gah.
ETA: i feel so bad for all you guys having heartburn/reflux. that truly sucks. It's miserable. I think if I was able to eat more than 10 bites of food at a time, I'd be right there with ya.
I've been having a small glass of milk at night before bed to help with my reflux. Zantac hasnt been working all that great for me the last couple days.
I haven't had much heart burn at all this pregnancy. With DD it was all the time. I think it's cause everything is stretched out this time and this LO is lower. So instead I just live my life constantly peeing..... But I have started to get the too full uncomfortable indigestion thing. I told DH this morning I just need to start to graze all the time and give up on eating meals.
@kfrob being grazing since week 18 from the stomach bug from hell that gave me reflux/heartburn. it sucks to constantly be eating and hungry and have to bring food to every meeting, but better than the alternative.

@jemmerjams I can’t tell you how many times I’ve uttered that sentence.

I told jeff maybe I should try propping up a bit so I can sleep on my back and give my damn hips a break. Thoughts? @kiwi2628 @sammierose464
