Doing the redraw tomorrow morning. Apparently the problem with the original sample was that is was damaged. It was 118 degrees last Friday when I had the draw and they send the results by FedEx. They said the temperature in the truck probably damaged the sample. Hoping we can get the results early next week!
my Dr called with my Counsyl Prelude results this AM -- negative/good on all fronts! They have the gender but I'm having a friend get cake made for us so we can find out together AGGHH now I have to wait all day!

I feel your pain!! I can’t sleep as of late partly due to this!! We have our little reveal in our yard (just popping balloons) on Sunday morning. Ahhh cannot wait!
@cait32 I called daily starting Tuesday lol. But yep, doctor called yesterday and said "I heard you were anxious to get your results!" Haha, I guess I developed a bit of a reputation but hey, don't care! Worth it!!!
OMG talk about annoying....talked to Natera. Results were faxed this morning to the LAB where I did the blood draw. Called Lab, they said they'd fax to Birth Center. Talked to Birth Center---they got results for my bloodwork (all the other bloodwork), but no natera yet. And its FRIDAY AFTERNOON so of course I bet I won't know until Monday (at least). I'm so annoyed. It's my blood and my baby..just put the damn results in the Natera portal!
Finally got the call!!!!! Amount of fetal DNA was 14.4% so they said that would give a solid reading. Aaaannnddddd LOW RISK for all trisomies tested!!!!!! Wohoo!!! They were able to tell sex of baby from blood work and asked if I wanted to know....I said 'no' which was SO HARD!!!! Staying Team Green for now.

@Cait32 Ugh, so annoying!!! And it's more torturous because you know the results are in and just sitting there! I hope you are able to harrass someone enough that they fix the situation for you today.

OMG!!! My doc didn't call but my results are posted to the Natera site!!! Panorama test: Low Risk for everything and TEAM PINK!!!! So happy!!!!! I guess my re was right... she thought it would be a girl!
YAY @dragonette505!!!! Great news!!! I hope it offers you some relief from all the worry. I found I relaxed a bit after getting my results, but now instead of freaking out about the health of baby, I'm worrying about my ability to actually carry to term. F*cking anxiety. Hopefully I make it to viability and then I can relax a little bit more.

No..bruh! Thats EXACTLY what i just told my hubs... he asked if i felt more at peace and i was like... yes and no... cause now I'm worried i'll lose a healthy baby!!! lol... cant win!!
@tosh24 and @dragonette505 I'm the same. While I'm THRILLED to get to this part and the genetic testing looks good... there are so many other things that can happen between now and birth!
@wkuandrea I know.... it all seems so far away and so much can happen! I'm going to try to at least enjoy the next few days, but yup... my first thought was YAY! and my second thought was... i hope my body can keep her healthy
+1 it's all I think about all day everyday. How is little boy doing and is he going to come home with us some day.
Omgggg this. I travel a lot for work (ex: drove 120 miles round trip today for an onsite mtg w clients). I had so much anxiety last night that I’d get into a car accident or something. Hate thinking this way but I’m just hoping the next 6 months go by smoothly (& for all of us)!!!
Found out I'm a carrier for a rare disorder called Galactosemia. Not life threatening/shortening, but still really scary. Of course the point of the carrier testing was for the most common disorders like CF, but little did I know they were testing for 150+ things. The last thing I wanted to do was get worrisome results right when I started really enjoying this pregnancy! Even though the chances are slim that DH is a carrier, I'm so bummed out and it's really all I can think about. The worst part is that he is in Japan right now and can't even do the testing until he gets back next Thurs. Then we have to FedEx the sample across the country to CA to the lab...it will be like 3 weeks before I get his results Trying to distract myself and stay away from Google...
My blood was drawn last Friday 7/13.... I’m on the edge of my seat daily!! I really hope they are back by tomorrow. Natera told me to call them first to see if the test has been sent to the doctor already before I call the doctors office.
+1 to everyone with the growing anxiety about taking home a healthy baby. I HATE this time in between appointments where I’m not really feeling baby girl yet so I have no idea if she’s still doing well in there!
@green_olive I had genetic testing when I was pregnant with DD and was a carrier for a rare life ending disease. I didn’t worry too much (and I’m a crazy worrier) because the chances of my H also being a carrier were slim to none. Hang in there!

@BitterBetty12 my nurse and I talked about that yesterday! Like I just want to be far enough along to feel her kick and move so I *know* she's in there and alive. And it's so hard waiting a whole month when for so long I was seen weekly by my RE. Blah.
@green_olive I hope you guys get good test results back soon.
@green_olive I actually know someone who had a baby with galactosemia. They didn't know that either parent were carriers beforehand. Their oldest has it, but their youngest does not. It's a scary thing to think about, and a terrible "allergy" so to speak to be cautious of, but their little girl is 3 now and thriving! Knowing about the possibility ahead of time just means you'll be better prepared if your husband does wind up being a carrier.
@dragonette505@BitterBetty12@ladystout08@alannac1 Thank you so so much for your words. When I got the result my initial reaction was "nbd, this probably won't happen," but my anxiety has grown in tandem with my obsessive research. Will try to keep it positive and stay distracted by other things!
@wkuandrea Thank you so much for sharing. I can't imagine how scary it was for them, not knowing beforehand. There is actually very little on the internet about personal experience with the disorder so this is very helpful to read. I hope your friend's little girl continues to do well!
+1 to the anxiety. This is the first time we've had a full 4 weeks between appointments, and it feels like an eternity. I have our Facebook announcement ready to go, but don't want to post it until I get confirmation at my appointment next Thursday (at 16+5) that everything is still ok.

My doc knew how anxious i was and scheduled me for 16 and 18 weeks (with the longest stretch being 3 weeks from 13-16 weeks since that appointment will be at the end of wk 16) I'm trying to decide when to tell my boss and i keep thinking: after the next appointment. Then i think... no, next appointment. LOL anxiety is the worst
Just got a call for my results from the 7/12 blood draw. No flags & everything looks good I'm feeling good enough now about the pregnancy that I might go ahead with a FB announcement
