June Symptoms

Re: June Symptoms

  • @sm05-2 my water never broke so i honestly don’t know what it would be like but i would think it would continue if it was your water. Could be just discharge, i occasionally get that gust too but nothing consistent or clear. Sorry to hear about the nausea! Can’t imagine having it throughout pregnancy.

@wildtot yeah I also think it would continue. Here’s hoping she’s not prepping to make her debut early!
  • @sm05-2 I know the sac can sometimes repair itself, but I wouldn’t think it’d happen this late in the game. Fx you don’t have a bug! When I was in labor with DS my system cleaned out at both ends, but it was over quickly, I hope you’re feeling better!
  • +1 for loose BM. Ugh, and right before my meeting!
However, I think it's because I ate very little all day yesterday and then had an enormous dinner+dessert. Seems to have stopped now, but I had to go 3 times already!

  • @zande2016 vertical? pssh i'm impressed - I don't want to get out of horizontal these days :-)
@sm05-2 I know you said in randoms you were pretty sure it was AF and you were going to see ur OB this afternoon anyway - but last stomach bug I got, I kept peeing myself while vomiting.  I've had a bunch of times I've had gushes they are fairly confident are urine that don't smell or colored - guess it means we're doing awesome at hydration.
+1 to poo problems, increased pressure and waving baby feelings, bone-deep fatigue, and playing the fun "is this baby yoga, need to pee, or contraction?" game.  He also has started raging war on my cervix for fun, second favorite spot to attack is my right hip - which is of course my bad hip.  I'm also passing crazy CM all over my liner and TP like it's peak ovulation so I have a feeling i'm shredding my plug and dilating again...back to bed go I.

  • @gingerbride26 LOL I totally meant horizontal. Have I mentioned my brain no longer works? Is forgetting basic 2nd grade math a pregnancy symptom?
  • @zande2016 LOVE IT - I kept trying to ask about a dishwasher and saying disposal this weekend >_<

Thanks @gingerbride26; I’m leaning toward it not being AF now, but on my way to OB, so it will be reassuring to have confirmation. Also glad I haven’t thrown up again. :)

All right, so my situation was a false alarm, and like as @gingerbride26 says, except not sure if I have a bug or if this is the normal pregnancy nausea for me.

@zande2016 What is up with that?! Now we can’t even be pampered? I had the same thing happen 2 weeks ago. Went for a relaxing pedicure but ended up feeling cramped and uncomfortable the whole time. The last month of pregnancy just seems cruel at this point, but baby is getting stronger every day, so I save most of my complaining for this board  o:)

I took my DD to an awesome petting zoo today, but I did a lot more driving, walking, pushing the stroller, and carrying DD than I meant to. I’ve been feeling cramps/sharp pains ever since I got home. I had gone almost an entire week without feeling any early labor signs, but now I’m wondering if maybe I overdid it today. DH gets home in 5 days!!!
  • @emsnedds yay for husbands coming home!! Mine arrives late Friday! Take this last week to relax as much as possible so you make it, and before life gets crazy with a newborn!
  • emsnedemsned member
@kbernal2021 yay!! I’m happy your husband gets home so soon! Any suggestions on how to relax? Because the closer I get to July 2nd the more anxious and busy I seem to be lol.
  • @emsnedds haha I wish I knew. I'm in the same boat. My BP has been high but it seems to be lower when I'm up moving about as normal. I basically try to get my things done while allowing time in between to rest which makes it take way longer unfortunately, and drives me crazy since I'm a bit OCD. So definitely no advice on that forefront haha

Meh the cramping started this evening for me. Not fun. Nothing too bad but feels like mild to medium period cramps every 15-20 minutes or so. Enough to feel a little uncomfortable for a few seconds. I’d say it’s poop cramps but it’s distinctly different than what I’ve had before. Maybe BH and I’m finally noticing?
  • Wow, @emsnedds your day at the petting zoo has me utterly impressed! I Hope your feeling better. All I did today was go out shopping  and slowly and leisurely push a shopping cart for two hours, only to come home practically crippled unable to walk due to pelvic pain. I'm in awe of you STMs+ who are able to be at this stage and chase after your LOs!  You guys must have supermom powers that come after having given birth before, because I couldn't even imagine how I could take care of a LO right now while at 36 weeks... let alone organize a fun day at a petting zoo without my DH! Rest up and feel better everyone.
  • of course the worst sciatic pain I have had all pregnancy I have tonight.., so no sleep for me....

@lindsayleigh1989 oh no! I’m sorry to hear about the pain keeping you up. Keeping you in my thoughts today that you have a much better experience with your delivery.

Eta I’ve been waking up around the same time each night because of cramping and major discomfort. Half the time it’s been gas/poop contractions and other nights because of nausea. Ugh so over this stage. I mean seriously who poops in the middle of the night?
  • @wildtot not fun!! that sounds miserable!!

  • yesterday my feet/ankles/calves were getting fairly puffy again. It's a little better today, but I think I'll take a dip in the pool today to relieve the swelling. Last week I went swimming in our pool and when I got out I didn't realize how swollen I had been because my legs/feet looked so small! The water is about 70-72 degrees so it's cool enough to really work. I think a warmer pool wouldn't have done a thing to help.
Pressure in the front came back yesterday, but seems better today. Had some minor cramping yesterday, too, but I think it was just poop related.

    Isabella & Julian & and now #3!
  • I had a bad headache yesterday evening, mostly at the back of my head and going down the back of my neck. I took my blood pressure several times and it was always low/normal. The headache was so bad it kept waking me up, I finally took a tylenol but it didn't help. I called my OB this AM and he's not concerned because my blood pressure is still low. I also had an NST and quick ultrasound to measure fluid this morning and all was fine.

I'm still uneasy about things, that headache was bad and I NEVER ever get headaches.

  • I just peed and then after peeing had a different splash of liquid after. Nothing since so pretty sure it was just discharge? Or pee that came out in a weird splash not a stream. I had a moment because today is my son's bday and we have a big day planned...plus I'm not sure how sharing a b-day would play out as they grow up, lol.
  • @SmashJam my money is on discharge - same thing happened to me a couple weeks ago, I stood up after peeing and got a splash on my legs but it was just discharge.  FX that's all it is so DS doesn't have to share a birthday.

  • Also +1 for loose BM, been happening for legit a week now.  Struggling to stay hydrated and it sucks having to work when you’re going 3 times a day (cant wait for maternity leave!)

Otherwise, just having back and rib pain and lots of swelling in my feet.  Luckily, once I put them up and ice them they go down a bit.  Usually strikes around 2pm every day- just need to start getting ahead of it.

Baby is also completely on one side, making it uncomfortable to move and putting tons of pressure on one side of my body.

  • @rachelsogo My stomach recently started making strange noises too! And it seemed like it was coming from a different area than usual.  The babe must have things all sorts of squished and moved around in there ha ha ha!

  • ugh feeling distinctly differently crampy today in both uterus and cervix. hoping it's nothing because I'm only 35 weeks, I've got 2 guys tiling my kitchen today, cabinets going in Friday, and new couch coming next Friday, no meals prepped, and hospital bag only half packed.... going to try to stay off my feet today and OB weekly appointment is tomorrow.

Anyone else with super dry icky nipples? I totally grossed myself out in the shower yesterday while washing them lol.

  • @gingerbride26 yes - I have been noticing more and more crusties, I think it's colostrum that's leaking out?
    BabyFruit Ticker
  • @gingerbride26 I’ve had on and off leaking for months now. Sometimes my nipples burn too. +1 on the crusty
  • zg49zg49 member
@gingerbride26 @canucklehead123 yep I've been getting the same! You can kind of scrape it off but yes I think it's colostrum leaking out as well.

  • @gingerbride26 another +1 on the crusties!

  • My neck is a giant knot today. I slept super soundly although I woke up a couple of times (surprisingly, not to pee) but these weird sleeping positions are getting SO OLD.
  • nimmlenimmle member
@gingerbride26 +1 here on the crusties too. I just try and wash them gently in the shower.
  • @gingerbride26 yes!!  Mine have been bad the entire pregnancy but lots worse lately.  A couple nights ago I accidentally used way too much coconut oil on my belly so I put some on them and then basically played with them a lot.  It all slowly flaked off and they look tons better now.  Nipple stimulation can supposedly induce labor though, so be careful if you're trying to hold it off!  LOL
  • @Michelleag05 YES on the coconut oil!! I was just composing a response with the same info! The coconut oil made it all come off so easily. I thought I'd try it after i couldnt handle the scrubbing in the shower. I thought it was just dryness but kind of excited to hear it may be leakage since I am worrying/ wondering if I will produce enough milk to breast feed.
  • @MichelleAG05 yea, I remembered from DD, so I did a cursory soap up and rinse and stopped myself from picking or rubbing them until they were more presentable - after all ain't nobody seeing them right now anyway!

I also like using udder cream - it was made for cow teats but then produced for the general public and that stuff is amazing on eczema cracked hands and cracked nipples.

  • So many stretch marks all of a sudden. Not too happy. Last time i got 3 and now i can count at least 10. I’m also see some red dots (like popped blood vessels/hickey).  :s
  • nimmlenimmle member
@wildtot I'm with you there. I was amazed how long I went with nothing then all of a sudden they started popping up. Now some are extending above my belly button. Of course this happened when my fundal height measured super large for my gestational age. It's now back down to normal and somehow 2cm less than 2 weeks ago.
  • Yesterday I was standing in the bathroom waiting for DD to use the potty and had my hands on my lower back.  DD looked up and said "You back hurt, momma?"  LOL - guess I've been doing and saying that a lot lately!
  • @wildtot here too! I only had two old stretch marks looking angry again. Within a week I’m up to at least 8 old ones and a couple new guys above my belly button because this LO hangs out differently than DS did. And they just happen to be right where my belly rubs up against things. So uncomfortable.

@MichelleAG05 LOL DS asked me if my belly hurt yesterday when he saw me holding it
