Um??? Did that poster fail heath class? Like she realized that once a sperm fertilizes an egg the job is done right? Every other sperm DIES and all the sperm from sex during your pregnancy also DIES. How would someone’s partner drinking after conception impact a fetus? Does she think the baby drinks the semen?
*lurking from nov 18* Omg... guys you have no idea how hard I've been laughing. I feel like my eyes have rolled out of my head I don't even know why I'm feeding the fire. At this point it's kind of a game to see what other uhmm... *Interesting* ideas the OP may have.

@lurvleybunchococonuts That. Was. Epic! When I read your first reply, I didn't read it as rude at all! I was surprised that she said it was rude and had to re-read it... Still didn't think it was rude. Priceless! I was telling DH about the thread, her article and her reaction and his comment was maybe she was drunk...
What in this world... My cat is going seriously BONKERS! She's usually not very active or vocal, even at night, and she is in the hall making enough racket to make me think I may have to lock her in the basement. She's got a hair band that she is knocking around on the wood floor and is yowling around. DH may castrate her even though she's already fixed and a female.
@coffee-saur at least it was just a hair band! It's been nice out so we've been leaving the door open and my cat managed to get a dead chipmunk into the bathroom and tossed it around for 10 minutes before I realized it was thudding louder than his usual toys... I don't know Why but the bathroom seems to be where he takes all his stuff and he sleeps in there a lot too so now I'm always on watch!

Thanks guys! On call doc said I could go in today to ER or try to get consult tomorrow. She’s thinking it may be an internal hemorrhoid but said it’s hard to tell. No bad cramps but stomachaches for the past few days. Trying to wait a day for an appt but think I may head down for peace of mind.
@kiwi2628 and @DunkinDecaf that’s exactly why I’m struggling with the decision to go get it checked out or not today! Definetly anxious but super on the fence about next steps
Do you happen to know where the blood came from? I've had some difficult bowel movements that caused bright red blood from my back as well as some slight spotting from the front. If you recently had sex it could also be cervical irritation. It is scary but I'll bet there is an innocuous explanation!
@jweber4747 thanks for sharing your experience, that does help! Sadly I wasn’t paying attention until too late since I wasn’t really expecting anything. Haven’t had sex recently enough but keeping an eye out for everything else!
@chopchop25 if you have the time to get checked and it would make you feel less anxious, go. Never worry that they’ll think you’re being silly if going in eases your mind.
@chopchop25 fx everything is fine. If it stress you to much, get checked today for sure. If it makes you feel any better, I've been spotting for a few days now. Nurse and Dr basically said the same thing.
Anyway, the part I thought may be helpful, was the nurse told me at this point (this far into pregnancy), unless it was major bleeding or contractions, the risk of it being anything other than benign reasons is minimal. So that made me feel better, and I hope it does you as well!
FYI to anyone hoping to get the babyletto Hudson crib in gray-good luck.... It won't be available from the manufacturer for 8-10 weeks, and amazon has a 4-6 month delivery window, and buy buy baby is out of stock too.
I'm not sure if I'm willing to risk not getting it ordered until I'm almost 30 weeks along, so may have to rethink some things.
Gray with white posts is available, and the slate color is too. Just not that perfect light gray color lol.
I’m just catching up after not checking in since Friday, but @chopchop25 I’m thinking of you! Hope that it’s nothing wrong! I know it’s hard, but I’d probably go in to get it checked out today rather than waiting for an appt. I feel like I would be way more stressed trying to wait, but please keep us posted either way!!
You guys are the best ❤️. No further spotting so I’m going to try to just stay busy today. My mind was somewhat along with what your nurse said @jomama1618, so I’m so glad to hear that’s what they said to you! Super hoping I can get an appt tomorrow.
@mamabearcj that is no joke! I had a cat years ago that would catch prairie dogs or gophers and let them go inside the house while they were still alive. That would get really exciting! One time my mom was visiting from another state and that cat let one loose in her room in the middle of the night. She yelled till I heard her and DH and I came and caught the thing in a box and let it go outside. Fun times!
It's crazy how much things take out of you. We had a busy day yesterday and today I decided to clean the entire kitchen (dishes, all the counters even under the appliances, and swept/mopped the floors). I then took a deep 2 hour nap!
I know on some post someone had commented that our kids are more or less constipated as they normally don't poop until after delivery. I saw this on the crazy baby center site. Poor things are storing up poop for about 20 weeks! ... At 20 weeks he's also producing meconium, a black, sticky by-product of digestion. This gooey substance will accumulate in his bowels, and you'll see it in his first soiled diaper (some babies pass meconium in the womb or during delivery).
