I finally felt the baby move last night....I was falling asleep and could feel something, so I put my hand over my belly and it did a big movement! Such an amazing feeling! I'm 15+6 weeks

@chopchop25 I hate reading those results. With Z, it seemed like every test had scary words like that when the results went to my portal. I called on every one and always felt better. This time I don't read them. I'm sure there's a reason why you're doctor didn't bring it up, but I would call and get reassurance.
@chopchop25 I know it's hard not to stress about it. I'd call today and ask if they can explain better.
I was reading through my test results from my hospital stay and there's a few that say "High" or "low", but they told me everything was fine. One that I kinda laughed at was my hcG, because it was listed as "high" - but only because their "normal" range is for non-pregnant women.
I'm so overwhelmed at work after being out all day Monday and then being in meetings all day yesterday. It doesn't help that I'm not feeling that great today and have a day of meetings today and tomorrow too. I'm thinking I might need to stay late at work tomorrow which will suck.
Edit because I do know the difference between there, their, and they're...
@chopchop25 I hope you were able to talk with your doctor to get some peace of mind! I have a tilted uterus as well and my doctor won’t even check it again until my anatomy scan because she said so much will change between now and then. She also said as long as I don’t have trouble urinating everything is fine.
@chyvie yay!!!!! congrats! I have anxiously been awaiting movement. I thought I felt something the other day then realized it was just gas I will be 17 weeks tomorrow so it should happen soon!
Thanks so much for all of the words of advice and comfort everyone! My appt is tomorrow so I'm just trying to focus on work today and ask tomorrow. Also started doing some exercises that are apparently designed for this...who knows if they work, but I'll try anything
@chyvie that's so exciting!!! I'm in the same boat as @linssears4 I'm 17w today and I haven't felt anything yet.. but I'm so hoping I feel something soon!!
I don’t know where else to post this. I finally got my results back from my IPS testing. My Down’s syndrome test came back negative and I have a 1 in 5600 change of having a baby with downs at birth. I was so worried with my age my chances start at 1 in 500. What a relief. We were waiting to tell people until this test came back. Now I can finally be excited and tell people, I haven’t even told my mom yet! Eeek
I hope it wasn't gas!! LOL I'm pretty sure it was a movement because I felt fluttering the last two days (I just assumed it was gas) but when I put my hand on my belly this time, it was like the baby did a back flip or something because it was a way bigger movement than I have felt before. FTM here so not really sure what I am looking for, but it felt like what I think it would feel like.

@chopchop25 Was it just the tech that didn't say severe? Did you meet with a Dr. after to discuss it? For my U/S which have only been like at 6 weeks the tech did the us and then I would get a call if there was anything the Dr noticed that needed to be discussed. My next U/S at 20 weeks will be with a tech that is able to give me more info during the US as I am 35 and am considered advanced maternal age. And I think I also meet with a Dr. after the us. I personally would call for more details even though you have an appointment coming up! Peace of mind!
@SweetSweetTooth There was someone who analyzed the results after the u/s tech took them (presumably a doc, but not mine), and he came in and told us about the tilted uterus but, yeah, didn't call it severe in our conversation. He said there was a small chance they'd have to do something about it, but left it at that. They just updated the results last night - I am hoping my doc got them before, but am slightly wondering if she just got them, too. It's annoying it took them 2.5 weeks to upload the notes, though.

@mamabearcj is this your first? I heard that sometimes with the first its closer to 18-22 weeks where you feel it.... but ughhh. I am getting impatient! I have a check in visit on May 4th so if I haven't felt anything by then, at least I will get to hear the heartbeat again.
I am 16w 3d and a FTM - I think I have felt little movements but nothing with full confidence as that was what I felt. Haven't felt it in a while and I know they are little at this point so even if we ARE feeling them we will not necessarily feel them everyday. I was glad to have an appointment on Monday and got the hear the heart beat again. it does give some peace! edit for right amount of days! lol
@mamabearcj I felt Z crazy late... like 25-30 weeks. First baby + anterior placenta + chubby mama = no movement forever! So there's a lot of different factors that can affect when you start feeling baby. I felt this one at 10 weeks, which is crazy, and I don't feel him/her much now because I've been so busy and probably just don't notice.
@linssears4 this is my first so I'm trying not to get discouraged, I know there's a number or reasons I could not be feeling anything for a while(: my next appt is May 15th since I'm still away for work.. so im certainly hoping I feel something before then. @krzyriver thank you both for your words of encouragement!!
I didn't feel things until I was 19 weeks with DS! No anterior placenta, I think I just assumed stuff was gas since I have IBS, so stuff happens down there lolol. But once I really felt something, I realized a lot of the "gas" I had been feeling was actually baby lol
This morning I was cuddling with DD in bed and she was squishing my bump which was making the baby go crazy in there. I forgot how much fun those little movements can be. I was sitting there thinking that in just a few more weeks DD might be able to feel her little sibling kicking her while we cuddle.
I have a meeting at 2pm EST with my VP (that was supposed to be Monday) and then I'm hoping I can nap until DH and SS get home. So hopefully 1.5 hours. I have to work tonight too, so I want to make sure I get my nap!
I sent my siblings an announcement pic this morning. One of my sisters responded with a thumbs up. Am I just being hormonal because I’m annoyed by that?

I’m sorry this made me laugh. No I don’t think it’s just hormones though, that would annoy me too. Honestly I might get annoyed by a yay! or whatever that didn’t seem enthusiastic enough. It’s a new niece or nephew, man! Subsequent siblings don’t get nearly the attention that first babies do.
@purplegoldfish2 that would annoy me as well, but getting a thumbs up seems so passive aggressive to me. It's like a "yup got nothing to say" but that's just my opinion.. maybe she is busy or doesn't know quite what to say yet?? I'm sure she is happy for you though, maybe call after work and talk??
At least I’m not the only one annoyed by it. Passive aggressive sounds like her. I found out her first daughter was born from a text from one of MY friends who saw it on Facebook. I just got more of a congratulations from the pizza guy at Wegmans when I answered “I’m pregnant” to him asking if I was ok (I had a cramp and made a funny face that apparently looked bad enough that he asked me).
Wednesday BF? My work is sending an extern to my office to complete her program at school. My boss wants her here to cover me in case I have any more pregnancy related emergencies, but she'll only be here a few hours once or twice a week. And I barely have enough work to keep myself busy on a daily basis, so once she picks up on everything, I'll just be staring at the wall for 10 hours a day. Ugh! Why can't they send her to an office that could actually use the extra set of hands?!
@krzyriver Sounds like you just got a bunch of free time to bump and look at names and shop for baby and if you have an office maybe nap under the desk...
I had an ultrasound this morning. Babies are both looking good. A is 5oz B is 4oz. Heart rates both in the 140s. B’s bladder was a bit smallish, but it could just have been empty. But I forgot to ask for pics
@purplegoldfish2 I already do all that!! Lol. And the dentist doesn't appreciate it because he thinks I should be making phone calls... which I do also. My job seriously takes about an hour or two and the rest of the time I'm just waiting for patients to check in/out and printing up the doctor's treatment plans for them.
I spent the last two hours researching new skin care products.
So some butt head in my neighborhood let his pet snake escape. It's a ball python and now I can't sleep at night because I'm worried it'll slither into my house and constrict my babies. Is that insane? The other night my toddler woke up at 4 am after he crawled into bed with us and said "big snake" and then went back to sleep. I did not! He is totally obsessed with snakes but that was the night I had just read the post on next door and now I'm scared forever.
And boo to thumb's up emoji for a pregnancy announcement!
Got the absolute worst sleep of my life last night.. could not breath from my nose to save my life, woke up every other hour, woke up at one point literally catching my breath, had a really weird dream every time I did go back to sleep, etc... going back to work today after being out for two and half days will be interesting...

My brother asked me if I’d gotten knocked up by a Mexican because we told him as I was headed home from a trip to Cancun...
@knottieamusements Was he trying to make a joke or is he just an ass?
I get get it though, it makes the days drag by.
But I forgot to ask for pics
