@eleven_ I am in love with your doggie! Oh my god, so cute! And it looks like he has different colored eyes, right? That's so cool.

Related to random, can't think of anything more random than this - has anyone been following the Who Bit Beyonce mystery on twitter? I am dying to know at this point.

*Edited to provide context, lol. So there was a GQ article about Tiffany Haddish and she mentioned that she was at a fancy party and a woman there (like an actress or model or singer or whatever) BIT Beyonce on the cheek. And now the internet is trying to figure out who. I am intrigued, lol.

  • @eleven_ It is SO stupid...so stupid that I find it really entertaining. There are THEORIES. Someone has already been accused!  (It's honestly a lovely, silly break from how depressing all the other news/tweets are on twitter, haha.)
  • @maureenmce I'm not saying I'm above wanting to know, just admitting it's dumb haha. I saw that person who was accused and is now denying it. If you find out, LMK!

  • @maureenmce well at least now I know what my evening will be filled with. DH will just be reading me speculation tweets all fucking night about this. Sigh...
  • DH had a quick business trip today . He's on his flight home and will be late. I'm trying to catch up on This Is Us and have decided that I don't particularly care for it. It's a good show, but just can't hold my interest.
  • @prpl11butterfly I gave up on This is Us a while ago.... lol
  • @doxiemoxie212 it's kind of like okay, I know how Jack dies, I'm good  :D
  • Not gonna lie, I'm still loving This Is Us. Although I'm really ready for something good to happen to at least one of them! Our binge series of the week is Seven Seconds on Netflix. So good!
  • Our joint binge is Breaking Bad. I'm watching the first episode of Harlots on Hulu right now. Gonna see how it goes.
  • @jsnakehole same. Never seen it. No desire to change that.
  • I was liking this is us, but I agree with @prpl11butterfly it’s starting to be predictable and a bit too depressing. It used to be a feel good cry, but now it’s just like they can’t catch a break.

I’m excited that so many good shows are coming back on soon. Santa Clarita Diet, the Americans, Homeland... and we watched the first episode of Barry last night and it looked promising! A good dark comedy.

  • @meggyme Oh, I'm so interested to see Barry. I love Bill Hader and the trailer I saw looks good!
  • @maureenmce it’s a pretty dry humor and definitely dark but not too gory, at least yet. I hope it’s good because I need love a good dark comedy.

  • @meggyme I couldn't watch Santa Clarita Diet. I found it absolutely disgusting. Seeing her eat all those bloody body parts  :s

  • @eleven_, me either, and I love Timothy Olyphant, so I really wanted to like the show.  I have been thinking about trying to again, can because I hear a lot of good about it.
  • @galactickates Lol, no update yet, even though I did even see a CNN article (!) "investigating" the matter!
  • I like This Is Us but I stopped watching it because the actor/manager dynamic was really annoying. The “Hollywood biz” betrayal was really inaccurate and they tried too hard. I stopped watching it because of that.

  • This is us: I have to be in the mood. It just SO sad. And sometimes I don’t want to cry.
+1 to not watching Santa Clarita diet.. half way through the first episode and turned it off.

We watch A LOT of tv here !

  • @SkilledSailor Aww! Your furry family makes my heart melt! Your dogs remind me of a stray we took in when I was in high school. His name was Scooter and I miss him so very much. I think he may have been the same breed as yours. Such good dogs and so smart! Glad you guys finally found the perfect fit for your family!

  • I just watched Parks and Rec for the first time last month. I loved it! So funny! Ron Swanson is the best. I'm currently rewatching The Big Bang Theory.

I haven't seen This Is Us (no tv or online streaming services. Most everything we watch has to be available for free online or on DVD), and have no desire to. I don't think it'd be my thing. I'm not a big fan of dramas
  • I don't watch This Is Us. I don't watch a lot of drama in general (unless it's historical) but I definitely don't want to cry every week. That just doesn't seem like entertainment to me.

  • I’ve discussed in ttgp but +1 to no This Is Us. I watched the first season. One episode into season 2 and I decided enough is enough. I  went to bed depressed because of a stupid tv show. So I don’t watch anymore.

@meri-mac Loooove Parks and Rec. we’re currently rewatching The Office and that might be next.

  • @lalala2004 I may be heartless but it does not make me cry. At all.
  • @doxiemoxie212 That’s exactly it!! “Oh you haven’t cried yet???” BAM burned out house and sobbing Mandy Moore. Why.

  • I watch this is us because I am emotionalless and cold and it makes me cry and I feel like with all the horrible crap in life, I need to force a cry here and there.  That being said, it isn't my favorite show or something I would normally watch.

  • Only time I started to feel was when the bio father/grandfather passed (because I was super close to both of mine and it reminded me) and when that damn dog was trapped in the house. And I still didn't cry  :D
  • I love this is us.  I really loved Brothers & Sisters, and Parenthood and was really bummed when they went off the air. I feel like This is Us fills that hole.
  • @galactickates I loved Parenthood, and I definitely watched Brothers & Sisters, but it wasn't as good as Parenthood IMO. I wanted This is Us to fill that void for me.... but I just don't feel like it does. Maybe because Parenthood, at least in the early seasons, had a lot more humor? I'm not sure...
  • I liked parenthood but only watched the first couple of seasons. That was before we had DVR... I will have to add that to my binge list!

    Dear Netflix,

Can we get Party of 5 back on the air.  I promise I won't complain about mass tagging anymore if you do.

Your biggest fan and warmest regards,

    GalacticKates

  • Party of 5? What about ER? Like, why the fuck can't I marathon ER anywhere??
