Morning girls, I don't even know where to put this but I am having a tough time today. I was in so much pain last night I could barely move - probably from sitting at work for 3 days. I was almost going to stay home today and work in bed but then our Recruiter emailed me at 1am with a family emergency and my boss is still on vacation so I couldn't leave our other girl alone. I am though starting to debate going home at lunch if it's not too crazy.
@derbysquirrel That Eeyore is the cutest thing ever! He has always been my favorite.
Had to log off early yesterday so I am trying to catch up! Today is my Friday and I cannot wait to get the heck out of here. I have so much to do to prepare for Easter. Luckily I really don't have to cook anything since we order Cracker Barrel and I just have to heat it all up.
ETA...I just remembered I wanted to comment on @ecwk suggestion. We could do a "Weekly WTF" and we can bitch and complain in there.
thanks @mrsbubbles-2 I have a standing desk too so I am going to pop it up for 15 minute increments to see if that helps as well. I've already been told I look basically awful today as well so I am just like over it.
When my boss is back next week, I think I might try seeing if I can have a scheduled telework day once a week, maybe Wednesdays to break it up. I use my ball chair, I have a cushion on my desk chair for pelvis support and my belly band on. I just want to sit in the bath all day. Then baby dude was kicking me so low last night it felt like he was going to fall out - TMI I guess haha
I'm working from home today because we have painters coming! As I near month end, which is my busiest time at work, it isn't ideal, but sometimes I feel like I get more done at home. The only downside is I have 3 monitors at work and at home I only have my laptop, so it's a hard adjustment! Painters will be here today and part of tomorrow. They are painting DS's current room (which will be the baby's room) and our current guest room, which will become DS's new room. One of the rooms was a "minecraft room", so the previous owners painted one wall lime green all the way down to the trim and the ceiling an aqua blue, along with the trim/molding around the ceiling. We moved in about 7 months ago and I've despised the colors ever since! I am SO excited for it to finally be GONE!
Woooohoooo!! The previous owners of my house had a pea soup green everywhere as their "neutral" color for the living room, hallways, kitchen, everywhere. After 5 years, we finally got the house painted. It looks so much better and I was and still am so excited about it. Cheers to new paint!
You guys I am looking at pics of DS from two years ago when he was a squishy (sorry @calimom2524) little newborn and ZOMG I HAVE BABY FEVER I AM SO GLAD I AM PREGNANT
Hey ladies, just caught up on everything from the last couple days as I have been on less. I am starting a new job next Wednesday! I am really excited (zero motivation to clear out my files right now and finish my last task, which I need to do this afternoon) but I fear it will cut into my Bump time more consistently, damn. Otherwise just sending out good vibes to all you ladies, glad people are mostly having a good week!
My best friend just asked me about starting to plan my shower. I want a decent sized celebration, but I'm also very much a "I don't want to inconvenience anyone" type of person so I didn't know what to even say. I was just like "Uhhh....something with dinosaurs?"
Me: 28 DH: 29 Married: 6/2016 TTC #1: 12/2016 Benched due to deployment- Off the bench 8/8/17!
Went to Goodwill today and scored some brand new Liz Lange maternity shirts that came from Target. Also a dressy Motherhood Maternity blouse. Also checked out local BRU- liquidation just started so they are only at 10% off everything NOT including diapers, wipes, formula, baby lotions. The store is only at 10% but it doesn't look like they had a truck delivery in months. Not a lot of stock. Sign holders have a sign that says 30% off and I asked what was 30% off and they said wrapping paper. ::major eyeroll::
I did inquire about purchasing a Medela symphony hospital grade breast pump that they usually rent (closed system so it is sanitary) so hoping I can buy one at liquidation pricing. Waiting for a call back on that.
So this week I've chatted with a few managers in other locations as we all like to keep in touch pretty regularly. I just got off the phone with our Denver office and at the end of the call he asked me how I was doing and if I ever needed help with anything to call him. I realized he was the third person (male) this week to say something along those lines. It finally just hit me these dudes are all offering help because they think I need it because I'm pregnant. I'm hella annoyed right now! I know they mean well, but I'm outperforming every other office in the company AND other locations are calling me to bail them out. What gives?!
I got to sleep in until 8, which was pretty amazing. I have to go to the Seder at my in-law's house tonight, which should be an adventure. Six kids from ages 4 to 12, 10 adults (including my SILs awful brother and his twice as awful fiancée), my awesome dog, their awful yappy dog, and the pet lizard my BIL is insisting on bringing. I feel like half my night will be spent making sure my dog does not mistake the lizard for a toy. All of this, and dinner doesn't start until sun down. And takes about four hours. And the food doesn't come out until around hour 3.

I’m finally able to check in early in the day because DH went to work an hour early today, so I have an extra hour in my morning that I’d normally be sleeping (ok maybe a little bitter about that). But there’s only like 5 updates since last night *facepalm*

Okay desktop ladies - I need a lookup I'm getting the poll together for the Siggy vote and work has anything from gify locked down - who has the siggy with the roomba (@doctormom33's nom)?
I also can't see @elsieisamoocow's, if I get the poll together could someone grab it and put it in the comments of the poll?
I think 90% of my office is out today for Easter weekend so I'm taking advantage and bumping my ass off lol!
Ok, hypothetical only because DH is still out of work and we're on a budget but...
I need a nice pair of pretty neutral shoes for work and since I get a free bunny I'm totally looking at the Tieks Boutiek. Which of these 2 would work better for business casual - I wear a lot of black or brown dress pants with a colorful dress top about 2x a week, jeans and a sweater or blouse (again colorful) the rest of the week. So I'm thinking neutral so they would work for the majority of my wardrobe. Which one? (Or neither if you hate them both lol!)
Oh man @mrsbubbles-2 go for the snakes! I just sold sand snake yesterday because they're too small and I will be ordering their replacement today. I LOVE the snakes.
@calimom2524 I KNEW I could count on you! Thanks! Off to tell DH I know what I want for my birthday lol! His is in September so I get off easy this year. Dude, I got you a baby. Done.
Hi ladies! Busy day at work since we are wrapping up the month. The joys of working in my department means the last and first o the month are completely ridiculous!
We went and test drove cars last night and we are picking up our new one tomorrow morning!!! I'm not excited about the car payment, but the car we are trading in is a 2003 and needs too much work to rationalize keeping it. We've been getting by with 1 car for awhile since DH has a work truck most of the time, but we need another reliable car. Super excited!!
My SIL is also visiting for the weekend and we plan on going to an Easter egg hunt tomorrow, dying eggs and going to my favorite BBQ restaurant for dinner. yes!!!
My random is I have today off and so does DH He is pushing every last irritating button I have in my body. I wish I had today by myself, so I could actually enjoy it ugh. Happy F’ing Friday.
@calimom2524@ssthomps We are going with the new GMC Terrain! They are having crazy deals right now and DH's cousin works for GM over in Detroit and we're also able to use his friends and family discount on top of that! Super excited!

Can’t beat that, enjoy. I love new cars, but I am with you about not loving the car payment.
You guys I am looking at pics of DS from two years ago when he was a squishy (sorry @calimom2524) little newborn and ZOMG I HAVE BABY FEVER I AM SO GLAD I AM PREGNANT
An acquaintance on fb just had a baby and posted a pic of him all swaddled up in the hospital receiving blanket, pink and sleepy and I was like “omg soo cute I want one!” Lol can’t wait for that!
Ditto you guys - I am making a shutterfly book for the year 2016, because I am behind and DS was this tiny cute little 2-3 year old with his curly hair and man! That's the stage I loved.
I just got KFC doordash for lunch. My biggest craving with DS1 was KFC hot wings and I had to have them today. I'm talking I ate there probably four times a week for a few months with him. PLEASE don't let that craving come back, why can't I just crave celery or something healthy?
Met with a Doula today and I’m sooooo excited! I’m going to talk it over with DH but I’m 99% sure I’ll hire her!! Also, who are the Trolls fans here? I’m digging this tshirt
I I have to give my MIL credit where credit is due- she had some food set aside for me to eat between when we got here and the Seder. I may or may not have used the pregnancy as an excuse to go nap

Omg do y'all remember the grey onesie with white and gold heart pants/bow I posted on one of the FFFCs? I was just browsing a destash on one of my girl clothes resale FB groups and found it! $14? SOLD.
@ecwk What's the shop name for that Trolls shirt? DS loves the cloud guy
