Thoughts on reusing a crib mattress? We just realized today that we have DS’s in storage. It’s going to be four years old but is in good condition; DS used it for about three years. I’m just wondering if it’s still ok to use for a baby after having a heavier toddler use it for a bit. Still feels fairly firm though.
I’ve akways considered babyhood till 2, infancy till 1. Toddler is more like, overlapping to me bc it’s when a kid ‘toddles’ so it’s an early walker wondow. My youngest will be 3 in June and I def think he’s not a toddler.and 3-5 is preschooler. Or little kid.

We are reusing our crib mattress! DS used it for 2.5 years and just stopped in January. It’s still in great condition. @mrs_drc_rn I definitely say reuse!
We’re reusing our crib mattress. DS is still sleeping on it lol. We need to move him to a big boy bed soon.
DS is 3 and almost 2 months and I’d consider 1-3 year olds to be toddlers. Once they turn 4 they’re a kid, but he’s still a little wobbly and I think the tantrums are the main thing toddlers are known for, which definitely happens at 3.
