Today was the first day of work since Monday since we've been closed with the freak snowstorm. So DS was home too. I take him into daycare this morning and they're like "so, 7 kids have been out with the flu are you sure you want to leave him when you're pregnant?" I said NOPE! and we hightailed it out of there. He's currently coloring on the floor of my office because I needed to get out of the house after 3 days, but I will probably work from home this afternoon.
@jsnakehole I'm sure that was scary! It sounds like your doctor is good at doing everything they can to give you peace of mind though. Let us know how it goes.

@jsnakehole Yay! Glad to hear LO is doing fine. I would have been so scared after a fall - even if I landed on my butt. I'm super clumsy and fall ALL the time, so it's a super big fear of mine.

@mapleandbacon Yes! I bought some of that amazonian clay masque stuff. On the container it says "Feel your face pulsate!" I didn't feel any pulsating and after it was off, my skin was the same. Big fail.
My SIL just found out she's having a girl in July! I'm so excited we're both having girls, but this is the third friend pregnant right now with a girl. So weird lol.
Just got a call from my oncologists office and promptly crapped my pants thinking it was going to be my biopsy results. Just a stupid automated appointment reminder, ugh!
We just found out MIL has started seeing one of DH’s ex-girlfriends as her realtor. Wouldn’t be as annoying, but this girl basically JUST became a side realtor and has sold a total of 3 low-priced houses in over a year. ILs are looking to spend a lot for a lake house—so annoying. I can’t hide my emotions at all, so it’ll be obvious when I see her tonight.
Also we’re buying a new car, but it won’t be available until Tuesday. I was hoping to have it tomorrow.
Also I now have to change the channel away from this idiot president.
I managed to successfully impersonate my husband on a live chat with our health care company and got the information I needed as far as breast pump coverage. They cover 100% when we order through an in-network provider and she gave me three different providers to choose from, so I guess I'll call next week and see what all I have to choose from.

Heck yeah, representin the west coast. Almost every mom from my D14 BMB is in the east so our group always dies down in the afternoon for me. It's laaaaaaaaame, I'm bored!
@calimom2524 My other BMB has a map so we can make sure when we travel that we catch anyone in the area. The nearest pin on that map to me is like 16 hours away. And sooooo many pins in the east. Just all alone over here.

Hey fellow west coasties! I totally know what you mean. This bmb seems the most obvious to me and is dead by the time I catch up during DS's nap time, but so many of my other bmb ladies are on the east coast or randomly are in Ohio/Kentucky. So many meetups I'm envious of. Thankfully I live in an area where we have cool things so I've met up with several from each group already.

the pin drop idea is cool!! Most of us are EST in my other BMB and the west coast is always late to the party and ready to party when we are going to bed! We also have 2 overseas, so they’re always way ahead of us and sleeping when all the fun happens!!
Whoa. I just got my first bladder kick and it reminded me of when you watch swimming on the olympics and they flip around at one end then kick off the wall.
@lolog531 It's always so interesting to me where people are in these bmbs. In my Aug 14 one, it's mostly North America, with a couple in the UK, one in Spain. And in my April 15 one, again it's mostly North America, but we have several Aussies/New Zealanders, and one in the UK as well. We actually also had one in Japan but she moved to Seattle a couple years ago.

@elsieisamoocow we have one in the UK and one in Australia! What’s crazy is one of our girls traveled to the UK for fun once, so they actually got to meet up! We have a lot in NEw England and they get together quite a bit. I’ve met a few hat live in a semi close distance from me which has been fun! We have had so many meet ups the past 3+ years and it’s been so fun!
There’s no one close to me on my BMB! I’d say the closest is at least a six hour drive! And the girls I’m closest with are far far away!
Had my A/S today. I think it went well. We still have to wait to get feedback from the doc. Also DH thinks he saw the sex?? He said at one point he saw the word “gender” and then the screen changed and then at the end it happened again. Now we told her we didn’t want to know and we looked away when she was looking at the identifying area. So I won’t ask DH what he saw *just in case* but it has to be that he saw “female” and that it was referring to me, right?? Even though we had it done at an OBGYN office where only women are patients... what say you all? Also we got a funny pic of LO from the front legit looking like a scary alien
@ecwk at my AS the tech typed female on the screen when she was showing us that the baby is still a girl. Not saying that’s what your H saw but that was my experience. We also got a pic of the baby looking straight on and totally looking like an alien lol.
