In my head I envision what I want but I can't find it in real life. With both boys I did blue and accent. DS1 was under the sea - blue/green/orange. DS2 was blue/red. I'm over the blue I want to do green. For some reason I am drawn to dinosaurs for this baby. Baby shower theme will be black/white/deep jungle green and gold dinosaurs. For the nursery I imagine very much neutral/ black/white/gray and accents of dinosaur green.
I did find a little grey dinosaur coming home outfit that I like a lot. But nothing for a nursery that doesn't include orange/brown/more colors and is actually cute.
My husband and I tested 6 different colors of blue/ greens think we have settled on this one from Behr, ‘Provence Blue’. Included a Pinterest nursery set up I like for inspiration. My husband is going to install some can lights and an overhead light, which will brighten things up, right now it’s just a lamp and window. Thinking we are going with a white furniture, loose pacific NW woodland theme. Think it’ll make for a cute little boys room!
@nmadjeski@sammierose464 thank you, me too! It’s bold but not overpowering or too dark, neutral. It’s from Home Depot if you’re interested. Poor husband, all the weekend projects for the foreseeable future!
I was sad they didn't have much in the area for a woodland theme, but they had their fall stuff out. (Already...) So I got a gorgeous fox for my little fox's room.
