So this is really really random...I had a dream last weekend that I went in for my 24 week appointment and they said I had to do my glucose test. Which is odd because I don't have to do it until 28 weeks but that's not the weird part. They gave me a powdered drink mix that I was supposed to mix with my water to take. Apparently, I had also brought my cat along so I thought I could just give the drink mix to my cat annnnnddd just eat my cat! WTF! After I gave the cat my drink mix I realized that I couldn't eat my cat (thank god) so I went up to the desk and asked them for a new drink mix because I had given it to my cat and obviously I couldn't eat my cat. They said that they would have to call the dr to get a new prescription for the drink mix so I would have to wait for that to come in. So there I am with MH and my cat (who was going crazy from all the sugar) in the waiting room of the dr office. We had been waiting and apparently it had been over a half hour and I decided that was too long to wait so I bitched out the desk people and we left.
WTF pregnant lady, WTF.

Is it just me, or does anyone else {FTM or STM - I'm FTM for reference} feel huge lately? Idk what it is, but my boobs feel massive today! I had to adjust the clasps and they still feel big Wtf!
I'm not a big person to begin with, and I've gained weird as normal so maybe it's partly just me ....
@MissKittyDanger my boobs have grown more than my bump. They stick out further than it. My sister, who has the notorious big boobs in the family, noticed how big they were and asked if I was wearing a push up bra (I was not). So naturally we had to compare chests and mine are bigger than hers.
I think back to when I was in 6th or 7th grade crying to my mom about not having boobs yet and I just shake my head.

@krashke yes! I was telling DH this weekend, like, I should go back in time and shake 11-year-old boobless me lol. I'm over these giant monstrosities. They get so in the way. And I absolutely hate the feeling of them resting on my stomach since my bump is big enough for that now.
@dinodna3 Right!? I just had to remind myself that I'm not that big right now and it'll get bigger and I need to suck it up lmao It's just so frustrating
@krashke I never wanted bigger boobs lol Mine may be about same size as bump
@krashke I am dying over here trying not to pee myself laughing at your dream! @MissKittyDanger yes I feel HUGE. I was complaining to my endo last week about it- I am constantly out of breathe and feel like I'm in my 3rd trimester. How is this kid going to keep growing? AND at a faster rate?!?! I know STMs start to show faster- but I thought by now I would pretty much the same as my last pregnancy.
So my random this week (so far) has been that I couldn't find my thyroid medicine this morning. Yesterday, after sleeping for 5 hours in the past 24 hours, I let my DD play with my pill container (shaking it to make noise- cause that's what she does with pretty much everything) and cannot remember where I put them when I got them back from her. DH and I looked everywhere... thank god I had blood work done on Thursday and they just called with my results. I was taking 9 pills a week of a lower dose, and they are going to bump up my dose so I can take 1 pill a day.... yay problem solved.
+1 to the feeling huge lately! And i KNOW its just gonna get worse. I've already had to switch to nursing bras with this big ole rack. Not to mention my belly i've been knocking into everything and everything haha
My Random: (kinda a rant maybe?) I am full on b*tch mode lately. I just cannot get outta this funk. I'm hoping its just hormones, but if it is, its gonna be a longggggg 19 more weeks.

@krashke that dream is pure gold. Especially since I'm sitting here in the first hour of my 2 hour GD test! Wishing I could've had a cat drink for me. They gave me lemon lime and I barely got it down in the 5 minute window.
I've officially lost control of my emotions. I can't have really any sort of conversation without crying. I think it's hormones mixed with moving stress, but I feel bad for anyone who has to interact with me.

@sunshineandwhiskey I've been in a terrible funk for the past week or so, too. I'm not bitchy, so much as sad, but it is really weird and came on suddenly. I'd been in an unusually happy/cheerful/mellow mood all pregnancy until recently.
I have literally said to DH at the end of the day... I am so sorry!! It's the hormones. I find it comes in waves... sometimes a little thing at work will set me off and I can't shake it, or something doesn't go my way and it just hangs around. It sucks.
Perhaps some ice cream, or chocolate for valentine's or my favourite day Feb 15 (Sale on Chocolate!)... may lighten the mood? I have been very clear to DH that some gourmet ice cream better be awaitin' this pregnant mama on Wednesday.

@jsl82 Friend of mine is expecting baby 3 and she's exceeded size of her first 2 kids. Her dr isn't concerned, but she gets a lot of looks since she looks overdue and still has 10 weeks left!
@MissKittyDanger I don't feel particularly huge, yet, but I do keep bumping my belly into things. My boobs got bigger in 1st tri, but they seem normal now - I have big boobs, though.
I keep thinking I can't imagine how my body is going to get bigger. Then I google image search women pregnant with twins at 25, 30, and 35 weeks and my mind is freakin' blown. I wouldn't recommend anyone going down that gooogle search path...
Had my AS today and it's a Boy!!! We really thought it was a girl, based on the Dr doing ultrasounds in his office, but we got a clear shot of baby's parts and its definitely a boy. I have no boy names though so... I guess I'd better work on that.
as for feeling huge, I have my days. some days I don't feel as huge... till I start doing stuff around the house and am huffing and puffing. other days, the belly feels so out there. and the 2 girls upstairs. I don't feel like they look any bigger. and I'm still in my normal bras. But they are NOT supported like usual. I feel like I'm bouncing around when I walk which I do not like.
my random. I'm just getting on the board for the first time today and feel overwhelmed by all I have to catch up on. I'm covering for a coworker so I got busy all day. but told myself I worked hard and I deserve this time.

@krashke trying so hard to keep my laughing in while not snorting at work.
I want to know how we are going to breathe when we get bigger. We all feel huge already, myself included. I can't breathe through my nose bc I'm stuffy, I can't breathe through my mouth bc I feel like the air isn't going anywhere. How do pregnant people get some air?!
@LaceyBee522 Lol I keep doing that with my belly too! Mostly with counters at work. I swear I could tell you when I got pregnant because my boobs went from normal to *POW* boobs! Day after I got the positive test I had to get maternity bra! I feel you ladies with naturally bigger chest .... how the ever loving FUCK do you do this constantly?
I had to buy bigger bras on Friday. I only bought two because I know that they'll just get bigger once I'm nursing. Le sigh.
And yes, I feel huge.

+1 to bumping into things. I have to be careful vacuuming and anytime I'm near the sink. I'm extra cautious when parking bc squeezing in and out of the car is no longer an option if someone parks too close.
In other news I'm starting to really feel how long my days are. They were already long before pg but now its like I don't feel like I can continue like this. I still have two more hours at work and I'm exhausted.
@sunshineandwhiskey thank you! I guess our theme is going to be family names. My first born has my grandmother’s maiden name + Dh’s name. Carver is my grandfather’s mother’s maiden + DH’s grandfather’s first name: Glenn.
@krashke I tell my husband daily how badly I want my small boobs back...I’ve gone up 2 cup sizes in the last 3 weeks and I’m kind of really over buying new bras
+1 to the feeling huge...ugh. I tend to gain weight all over when pregnant, not just the belly. I guess everyone does to an extent, but I would joke when I was pregnant with DS that my butt was as pregnant as my belly...even at the end of the third tri, I never had a huge belly (but the 40 lbs I put I went somewhere...lol).
Also, being a SAHM this time around is not helping...because I'm always near the dang kitchen. It's too easy/tempting to grab a bite of this or a handful of that to snack on.
@MissKittyDanger yes I do feel huge! I tried to sneak in a meeting late yesterday at work and scoot past a few ppl for the empty seat. I interrupted everyone bc I couldn’t fit my belly between the wall and the chairs. Sigh!
Guys...my subway home last night was particularly crowded. In order to get off at my stop, I had to squeeze between people. I’m pretty sure I took out a lady with my belly. That thing is firm!
@krashke That story is hilarious! I needed that laugh today!
This is probably more of a rant than random, but February is so friggen busy! Work is crazy, SO is having weight loss surgery (He's in the OR as I type this), several doctor appointments, DD's 2nd bday followed by two neice's, my brother and then my nephew. I just want a day to sit and not do anything.
Guys...my subway home last night was particularly crowded. In order to get off at my stop, I had to squeeze between people. I’m pretty sure I took out a lady with my belly. That thing is firm!
I never notice how firm it is until I bump into something lol
I totally thought back in October when I had no bump that I would be able to make it through the winter without having to get a maternity coat. It would appear that that is no longer the case as my jacket is getting increasingly more difficult to zip and Mr Groundhog says we have 6 more weeks of winter.
Now I'm on the hunt for a reasonably priced maternity jacket. I have found a used A Pea in the Pod jacket on FB market place but I am concerned about the sizing. Has anyone gotten a maternity winter coat? My regular North Face jacket is a M but idk if I would need to size up to a L for maternity.

@krashke I ordered an insert for my coat from Make My Belly Fit (which can also be used next winter when baby wearing), but I'm currently in this weird in between phase where I'm too big for my coat, too small for the extender to actually keep me warm. This is not helpful for your pea in the pod sizing question, but just in case you stumble down that same idea I had...... probably don't.
krashke I don't have a winter maternity coat but what I've always understood and found with maternity clothes is that you get the same size you normally would- so I would say the med should be fine. A Pea in the Pod is a big brand- I have several regular clothing items from them and the sizing has stayed true to what I would normally buy.

Yeah, I had to read this at least three times before I realized you weren't talking about getting a sandwich at Subway. I kept trying to figure out why you were calling it a "home" Subway. The pregnancy brain is bad with me lately.
