Our baby (2 weeks ago)... husband found out the gender during his army training today on Father’s Day and let me know we were having a boy!!!! So exciting!
Had my first growth scan today at 25 weeks exactly. I got some really cute shots of baby (team green). My 7 year old is convinced it's a boy because "she can tell lol".
Went today with my parents and my Mom’s best friend to do an elective ultrasound today. It was so much fun listening to Mom and her friend debating Blast’s sex. The ultrasound tech played along with them, while honoring my request to be Team Green. Baby was very active, and is apparently left handed.
Got to see baby girl again today (27+3) got a creepy face pic & she was folded in half with her toes by her head. She’s about 2 lbs 4 oz so a little peanut but growing well (I’m very petite so this is no surprise)
I had a growth scan yesterday to make sure lo is growing fine. She’s been hanging around the 7th percentile and they were worried. Well in the last few weeks since our last scan she went from the 7th to the 16th! I didn’t think to ask her weight. They said her head circumference is small but not concerning. Brain development is perfectly fine as well. 27 weeks on 7/17
Baby has moved from the 91st percentile to 80th so still gigantic. The tech also checked my due date three times because he’s measuring 2 weeks ahead. I know third tri scans are less reliable but on every scan since the first he measures ahead! Good news is the placenta has moved so there’s lots of room to deliver vaginally!
Growth scan today showed the boy is tracking 5 days ahead of his due date at a whopping 4.5 lbs already! His head is down and he's getting squished in there already.

My OB doesn’t do 3D ultrasounds and I don’t think we’re going to do an elective one, but we had a growth scan yesterday. Measuring 2 full weeks ahead and spent the entire 45 minute scan playing with his penis lol
I was measuring small so my doctor recommended an ultrasound last week. I'm thrilled that he's right on track weight-wise. PLUS I got a surprise ultrasound out of it! Here's my smooshy boy at 33 weeks.
SSo at my 32 week ultrasound the placenta looked great no longer in the way and baby girl was measuring LARGE as we expected..3-4 weeks ahead at 5lbs 5oz...well they ordered another late ultrasound for my 37.5 week appt because she was in the 90% well...we got the ultrasound and she’s “average” now at 7lbs 3oz lol we were a bit surprised! My other two kiddos were over 8lbs at my 37.5w u/s...my daughter was over 9 at birth and my son over 10...both 41w gest. So we just figured baby 3 would be big. I’m not sure if I should be nervous or celebrating considering we were very nervous about another big baby coming out of me after my last two bad lacerations...3rd and 4th degrees. But now I’m like hmmm as long as she doesn’t fall out lol. So there she is with her hand in front of her face...my last will be my smallest unless of course I go 41w again and in that case she might tie with her older sister
Re: AW: Ultrasound Thread!
