This is how we announced DS2. I don’t think I’ll be doing an announcement with this LO due to my weird circumstances so I’ll have to live vicariously through y’all.

Thank you! Take whatever ideas you want, I'm pretty sure it came from Pinterest anyways haha. I miss his curls, he was so teeny back then! Now he's a big stinky 5 year old boy.

Nope

we let his hair stay pretty long until he was around 2.5 but it was in his eyes all the time and decided to do a real "little boy cut" and cut it short. The curls never came back and I've been sad ever since.

@calimom2524 I'm doing a similar announcement, but we actually bought Robin and Batgirl onesies and are going to have DS dressed up as Batman. I've had them for weeks, but just haven't had the energy to wrangle him to take the picture.

I posted this last Sunday after we told family and the kids. I wrote “We have some very big news! Our family will be complete this summer... Our rainbow baby girl due 8/9 [redacted emojies rainbow 3xblue heart 1x pink heart]”

I'm not sure that we will do anything cutesy to post on FB or anything. We did, however, announce to our kids on Sunday. We did pink & blue balloons along with a mylar baby balloon, and put them in a big box for them to open. It made it fun, but then later that day I was sitting on the couch and looked up to find this creepiness staring at me.

I did get one cute shot of the boys looking over the ultrasound pictures, so I may use that if/when we make it FB official.

A friend made these shirts. My boys will wear the big & middle shirts and we’ll have the onesie on a hanger behind them or something. We’ll work on the picture this weekend. I’m sure it will take several sessions to get a decent one with a 4-yr old and 15-month-old.

I love these! DS's birthday is next week (2.8) so I'm going to announce either that day or the day before. The fun part of my due date (8.8) is that it's his half birthday, so I'm totally tying it in saying that all he wants for his birthday is a baby brother or sister, or something. I need to come up with a cute caption. He was our first rainbow baby and this will be our second rainbow, so I'm going to do a rainbow backdrop and have a cute letterboard sign for him to hold. (I'm a photographer and a friend who is also a photographer is helping me, so we're nerding out over this already lol - taking the photos on Friday!)

I love all these announcements! I may do a Valentines themed announcement. Something like this but I have a small chalkboard DS can hold for a series of pictures. I think it’ll say “Roses are red, Violets are blue, this August my sibling is due”

Took my announcement photos yesterday! DS was being a total toddler and was about as uncooperative as he could be, but thankfully the Trolls soundtrack blasting from a speaker helped him out (and the promise of lollipops and ice cream haha). Censored out his cuteness because creepers. Also, the bears that are in the photos are my Molly Bears (weighted bears made at your angel baby's birthweight) from my two losses.

ETA: Posting these probably on Wednesday to not steal the thunder from DS's birthday on Thursday (the baby is due on his half birthday, so it'll be birthday related still)
