Re: January Symptoms

  • @ashleyf911 if only it was that easy lol but I did feel that way towards the end with DS! His head was so low!! He dropped at like 34 weeks and my waddle got even worse lol

  • @BrittnieMariee - hopefully she cooperates after you get some food! Sorry you’re having to worry!
@vflux33 - that’s good to know that we shouldn’t accept help getting up! My worst discomfort is when I get up in the morning - I hadn’t even thought about wanting to keep those muscles working.
  • Hope you are doing well @BrittnieMariee
  • I will never forget the creepy feeling of what feels like baby trying to claw their way out of my hoo ha. Yeah, that started again this go around, yesterday. Soooo weird and I’ve never really figured out what exactly the sensation is, but I’ve had it with all of my pregnancies!
  • @StephBrim24 last night I tried to stay upright and alternated walking, squats lunges, and the yoga ball for three hours after dinner. As soon as I crawled in bed I was instantly nauseous. But I didn’t get sick, so win?

@fatstagnation I meant to post over here originally. It seems the closer I have gotten to 40 weeks both times, the crazier my hormones seem to drive the furbabies. Hopefully your cat stops driving you crazy soon. You can also ask your vet about calming pheromones? Might be worth a shot?
  • @chasingroygbiv glad I’m not alone in that weird sensation
  • @mdfarmchick Kitty thinks he's eating for two. hahaha!

  • @BrittnieMariee - that’s great news!!
  • @StephBrim24 I was super relieved! My contractions have calmed down a whole lot too!! Yay!
  • Super icy in Toronto. Slipped and fell on my side...on my leg :( Baby is moving normally. Mama's leg hurts though.

Oh my gosh, so scary! Glad baby is ok. Sorry about your leg.
  • @baybeesunflower I am a SAHM and am losing more patience everyday if that counts. DD is testing me to see if I am going to follow through on threats to get rid of things if she cannot pick up afternoon herself.

  • I'm loosing more and more patience at work each day.
I had it last pregnancy too...
  • @baybeesunflower thanks. It was scary. The grip on my boots is amazing but I was unlucky to fall anyhow. Hip hurts this AM. Going to work from home! Don't want to even attempt my commute to work...off balanced and in pain. Baby was pushing my stomach and moving around as usual thankfully. His jabs made me happy. <3
  • @cford08 not good!! I know these things could take so long to process. :( If you're working with an HR department, I hope they are doing their best to speed things up!
  • Anyone else losing patience at work? Not sure if hormones or time of year or a combo of both but I'm done! Just do your damn job and leave me alone!! :D
Yes. Yes. Yes. Everyone is driving me crazy. Plus I can't get comfortable in any position- I just want to lie down all day. And trying to save my patience for when I get home to DS at night

Horrible leg cramps in both calves. What is this??? It’s just a constant ache.

    Eta: spelling is hard
  • Leg cramps that wake me and last for 20+ minutes.

I’m trying to PT my 3 yo DS and that has used up the last bit of patience I had left.

  • Feeling so off! Stomach is hard, and very painful. When I lie down I feel better. Baby keeps head butting me. I'm reading so many things, don't think anything is wrong. Doesn't seem to be contractions per what I'm reading. Could be dehydration, I'm constipated too. Very unhappy with this pain. Gonna up my water intake today and fibre.

Re. Leg pain ladies...I'm with you. My hip pain wakes me up. Changing positions sometimes helps, if not I sit up and wait a bit then lie down again. Fun times.
  • @StephBrim24 you are not alone... mine have been swollen for a while. It happened with my first too. It’s just uncomfortable. :unamused:
  • @StephBrim24 me too! They have been like that a while.

  • @vflux33 That is weird!! Hopefully it won't get too bad after the babies though. Maybe you will be pleasantly surprised. My weird thing is my lactose intolerance went away when I got pregnant. I think that's not uncommon though.

  • Kiddo has flu, I better not get it!  Oh and I am turning 30 this weekend, yay....not.  I wish I was on the beach with a pina!
  • Welcome to the Dirty 30 @slr1229! I hope you have a great weekend!

  • @slr1229 Happy birthday!
  • Thanks y’all!  To add to the symptoms, the period-like cramps have started.  With my first, these didn’t start until 2 weeks before I went into labor.

You may want to get checked out for preterm labor just to be safe.

    Ok Ladies,

Got one for you. I am 29W and 5D today.

Is anyone else having trouble breathing/shortness of breath or trouble getting a deep breath? I was at my Drs apt Friday and I explained my recent issues. Those two things as well as nausea, bad headache (sometimes I wake up with it), chest tightening, mild swelling and sheer exhaustion. I reside in a two story house and just getting to the top of the steps I am winded and seeing stars

She's sending me for an EKG and stress test as well as sending out my blood for thyrid check and iron check.

Through my own idiocy I believe that I failed my sugar test Friday (bc I didn't realize I was drinking coffee when I walked into the office)

Disclaimer is that this is my 3rd child. I don't remember this happening before.... my other two are almost 2.5 and 9mo
