Random. I just got a badge for my 1000th comment here (on the bump)! That means this is my 1001st comment. Crazy!!! I don’t know if that’s an accomplishment or a problem
@zande2016 It’s super cold and snowy here too and we haven’t been outside to play in weeks. My dogs are older and basically just lay around, but we’ve been doing lots of wooden Melissa and Doug puzzles DS got for Christmas, and “cooking” with play food. Basically thank goodness he just got all kinds of new toys to keep him occupied! He also got a Melissa and Doug music set, with like maracas, a triangle, a tambourine, and other instruments that are easy and he really enjoys that!! And then there’s always Mickey Mouse haha. I did have to take him out today to get a hair cut, but I hate going out in it so we’ve just been hanging at home.
With my first I got away with very little maternity, mostly just flowy tops and belly bands until at least 7 months. Then I wore mostly maxi dresses and mat tank tops with kimonos, etc. But at the time I worked in a restaurant so I didn’t need professional clothes, even now my work is so casual I won’t need anything extra that I wouldn’t wear every day. But I did just pull out my mat pants today! So comfy!
@acunamatada My first pregnancy I tried to wear my normal shorts/pants for as long as I could and this time I pulled them out at like 9/10 weeks. Haha. SO COMFY!
@paytonpedro I couldn't figure out what the Heck email I used for my other one. For #3 I think I use the BMB on TCF, same screen name, but different platform.
@paytonpedro good ideas! Mine has been pretty entertained by his new play kitchen he got for Christmas, but I think we need to get out of the house at least for errands tomorrow. May have watched a few too many Mickey Mouse clubhouse episodes today and I'm feeling the mom guilt.
@TheQuietThings I had to email TB because the email I used wasn’t my email (pregnancy brain, I spelled it wrong) so I couldn’t get into this account and I just wanted my pictures!! I ended up getting KU a couple weeks later so it worked out!! They let me back in no problem!
I trying out Thredup, found a few things at Ross and just looking for larger non mat shirts and sweaters. Most of my spending will go towards pants and eventually nursing clothes.
@TheQuietThings@paytonpedro idk why I waited so long! So comfy and they mold the fupa this baby is pushing out into a somewhat presentable bump. I’m never going back lol
@paytonpedro I didn't even think about doing this. Honestly, this one is from when I was going through my divorce 8 years ago or so! I had a different screen name before this was even the bump--- it was The Nest Baby, and there weren't even BMBs! Way back when oldest was tiny.
@wildtot I wasted so much money on nursing clothes with my first! The two shirt method worked better than anything for me (plus it made me look less.. mantronly?) and cheaper!
@acunamatada they're still in the stage of needing to be pulled up frequently. I wish I had a variety of under and full panel, but alas, most are full panel.
@TheQuietThings these pants never fit me when I was pregnant with my first lol, so the panel never got stretched out. I bought them online and just kept them anyways- glad I did! Plus they’re H&M so it’s a pretty firm/not so stretchy panel, I’m not sure I’d like them with a huge bump.
@acunamatada two shirts in Cali summer was not an option for me. I mainly pumped. I mainly need new bras after all that leaking. I am thinking I’ll be bigger this time since they have started getting big. Last time my boobs stayed the same till the very end. I hope to breastfeed more this time and the two shirt method could work better in CO weather. Last time i borrowed almost of my mat clothes but can’t this time since we moved.
@wildtot I'm not even sure I'm going to reinvest in nursing bras. I've transitioned almost exclusively to bralettes and can nurse in them easily. I also acknowledge I'm small chested.
@TheQuietThings also small chested here... but while nursing they turn watermelons that are completely disproportionate to my body Ive already gone up a cup size, they changed so much with my last I have 1-2 bras in every cup size from b-dd
@TheQuietThings I’m pretty small too i went from a push-up B to a full size c with no padding or underwire. Now back down to a barely deflated B. My old ones are just plain gross now but I’ll have to wait to see what size i end up being.
@acunamatada sounds like me. I was a 36D while nursing both littles. This spring I was a 32A. I am feeling pretty chesty today, if I do say so myself. You know, like a b cup.
I had to buy bigger bras today I got rid of all old baby/maternity stuff this summer, and my regular bras were starting to feel tight today. Going from a 36D to a 38DD today. I do not enjoy this.
Missed quite a few, went for a long walk this am and then packed as we are currently driving to Vegas! Chill weekend at a friend's house, no partying here.
Re: mat clothes, I only got a pair of leggings and TBH bottoms is what I'm having an issue with. I haven't popped yet but jeans are just not comfortable and that's usually what I wear. A couple of workout pants are also a bit tight. For the most part they are uncomfortable at night after a few meals during the day... I might invest in a couple of mat jeans but all my other clothes still fit. As for bras...I was a 34C, most of those are tight now...but I kept a couple of 36D and they are fitting nicely now. We'll see how long I go without buying new ones. Definitely need a couple of workout bras, but will probably go to Target for those.
In other news, 13 weeks today! For those feeling anxious about having to wait to see baby, I did too in between appointments at the very beginning so I got an ultrasound at a lab for $60. It definitely calmed my nerves and made me little more trusting. I know where you are coming from as I'm also a FTM.
Super proud mama moment right now! DS crawled into his bed on his own and stayed in it! I usual rock him a bit with some singing or reading and place him in his crib, but since we transitioned to the toddler rail this week i was afraid he would take long for him to get use to it. Bittersweet moment, guess i gotta find a new routine.
@wildtot I’m a big couponer, there was a promo going on where you refer a person and got $5 credit for it. I shared the code on Instagram and got $200 worth of free referrals! I haven’t used it since. I always had trouble with the pants but like you, shirts worked.
I am so over traveling you guys. my kid sleeps like crap, I sleep crap and it just draining but it has been really nice to see my family. I am so pissed at my cousin's kid though she just turned 4 and is an only child so i hope it is a phase but my husband told me she would bring toys over to my daughter (18 months almost) and when my daughter would want to reach for them she would pull them away and take them away My daughter loving other kids kept trying to share and get her to play with her. she is lucky I wasnt around at that moment to see it or I would have told her off. Normally she is sweet kid. Pregnancy hormones made cry and hug my sweet baby when my husband told me that when we got back to our hotel. grrrr I hate mean kids
also im not having patience for the random posters who cannot or simply choose not to read pinned posts,.. let alone lurk the board for half a second before posting. I just do not get it

I am SO with you on this! Whyyyyyy do they do it!! And I'm sorry about your little girl. Hopefully it's a phase for the other kid, or maybe she is just too spoiled;)
Also, rant ahead, we've been in the car 5 flipping hours and should have been in Vegas already but we still have over 90 min to go. When we left, it estimated 4 hours. But of course, random bad accidents popped up on the map as we drove. I'm so cranky. It's dark and it feels like midnight. And our car sure is great because of the lane assist and auto breaking but it beeps every 2 minutes since we are bumper to bumper. We also got cut off by some jerk and I nearly got a heart attack. Totally regretting the trip, but I owed it to our friends who moved here on their own a year ago and we're our (free of charge) photographers at our wedding. *Rant over*
@kissableviv ish I am so sorry and so feel you i hate when roadtrips unexpectedly take longer than they should! hope the last leg is fast and u eventful for you!!!
@acunamatada I love the Fupa comment. Ugh the struggle is real isn’t it?! @lindsayleigh1989 I’m sorry that happened to your daughter. I hate when I witness other kids being huge dicks especially to mine.
@kissableviv and @Jessicajorden thanks! I think it just made me sad because my daughter was trying so hard to play with her and be kind just to have herbe purposefully mean
@lindsayleigh1989 ugh! What a little brat! Luckily only my relatives have kids so I can correct them when they misbehave, I don’t play!
@kissableviv sorry you’re far away! I hate hate traffic and car rides. Have you tried the waze app? Tons of people use it and report cops, stopped cars, wrecks, slow traffic and stand still traffic. It also has a directions feature so we always keep it on our phones just in case we’re going through a big town or in a hurry.

Unfortunately, that is part of the reason we got delayed but it's not Waze's fault. It was trying to make us cut traffic on the freeway and put us on a parallel road but an accident happened there pretty much as we got on to that. For a while, it made us continue on it, until it basically became so stuck that we had to turn around, and get back on the freeway. The whole thing was bumper to bumper, so that's how one hour was added...ugh!
@kissableviv agh, talk about the worst luck! At least it’s helpful most other times. But I know how you feel when being in the car is the LAST thing you want to do and that’s typically when you’re closer to your destination which makes it take even longer. Fingers crossed there were no other problems for you!
Just need to rant, i have a hard time sleeping since DS even if he sleeps through the night but regardless of how i feel i do my days as usual with no naps. DH is one reason i can’t sleep between the snoring, breathing in my es, taking over the bed, taking the covers, grinding his teeth. He can do something to fix some but he chooses not to because god forbid he’s uncomfortable. I rarely sleep in and even though we’ve had time off for the holidays yesterday was the first day i “slept in” one hour. DH will go longer than that. This morning DS woke at 5 so i brought him to bed with us, of course DH slept through all the kicking and hitting i was experiencing so finally i got up set and told him I never get to sleep in. He straight up said “you slep in yesterday, now it’s my turn” (earlier this year we had agreement to sleep in every other weekend - obviously it didn’t work out) so WTF?!?!?! My sleep is not important i guess he doesn’t want to correct what he can to help me nor does he want to wake early when he should. Me being sick and pregnant means nothing i guess. So i guess I’ll be sleeping in the guest bedroom the rest of this pregnancy. Ok rant over
