Welcome! I noticed I am the first one in here and wanted to start the thread. My name is Kristen and I was on the bump with my first, Collin, who is now 5 years old. My due date is August 9th and we are hoping for a girl this time around!

Hi! I’ve been hanging out on the July board since LMP would put me at July 28th, but I usually ovulate later in my cycle, so there’s a good chance I’ll get bumped back into August. I’ll find out in a couple of weeks since I was not tracking when we conceived.

Hi! My name is Natalie, I am 37 and a labor/delivery/post-partum, NICU nurse and also 4.5 weeks pregnant!! My due date is August 6th.  I have been pregnant twice before but lost both before 9 weeks.  I am very excited but also very nervous.  I have a great high risk OB/GYN (also my coworker ) who is following things closely.  So far my HCG levels have increased as they should which is reassuring since last time (1 year ago) they didn't.  Will have my HCG level and progesterone level checked again on Monday, 1st ultrasound will be Dec. 14th... Can't wait to meet everyone due in August and hope I get to stay for the long haul.

Hi all! I have been sitting on my BFP for almost a week now, waiting impatiently for a dating scan. Have an almost 10 month old daughter, with whom I was active on the Feb 2017 board. I like long walks in the mountains and pajama pants, and am terrible at introductions! PGAL brain has me nervous so I'm trying to focus on the present and keep the optimism going.

I can’t tell you how happy I am to see other organized board ladies. My previous BMBs have been a major clusterf*ck the first month or so. 

I have 2 Littles. L is 27 months and the most affectionate kid I have ever met. E is just over a year, and has the curliest hair ever.

Hello All!  Love reading everyone's intros!  My name is Kristin.  I am 37 and am a photographer out of Oklahoma!  I am 5w1d as of today (due date August 3) with my first baby (will be my husband's third) and am super excited!  We had been trying for a little over 2 years.  I have had two preliminary blood tests - one for confirmation and another to make sure my HCG is trending and check progesterone and everything looked normal.  I got my BFP 2 weeks+2 days ago and have my first ultrasound next Thursday!  Currently no symptoms except that I wake up every morning at 3am and cannot go back to sleep!  Eeeeek!

I am so happy I found a community with which I can share in this exciting journey!

Hello Everyone! I'm excited to see this board is finally here. I am due Aug 4th. I've been pregant once before and it ended in a loss at 9 weeks. PGAL brain is crazy but I'm trying to stay positive. I'm looking forward to getting to know all of you!

I am due July 26 but have gone late with both pregnancies (12 days exactly) so I'll bet I'm giving birth somewhere around August 8.

So I’m cautiously excited, this will be baby #4 and ironically was not planned after months and months of trying after a chemical in Aug of 16. I decided to be happy with my 3 amazing healthy kids and focus on myself ( which lead to me having VSG surgery Aug 3rd 2017). So of course because we had decided to be done with 3 and because I signed a document stating I would not get pregant till I was at least 18months post surgery, this little miracle happend.

I went for a beta at 17dpo and it came back at 693.9!
i went for a second at 19dpo and somehow, it was onky a progesterone? Or something bizarre. So I will go today for a second beta. I’m not having any spotting like last time so I’m hopeful.

as of now my EDD will is 8/4/18. And I think that’s pretty spot on since we literally only dtd once in the fertile window

So excited to be here! At 5 weeks from LMP today. Got my BFP on Thanksgiving at 11dpo. I’ve had 2 early losses since I started TTC in August 2017, so I’m hopeful this one is different. I’m obsessing over every symptom (or lack thereof) and am trying to fight that urge as much as possible. So far my betas doubled from 96 on 11/27 to 204 on 11/29. FX things keep going in the right direction.
@jchpg I love that you’re here and we’re EDD twins! At least for now. I go in for my first ultrasound on 12/6 and that may give me a more accurate date for this pregnancy. 

Can’t wait to get to know you ladies better!

Hi ladies! I'm currently 5w4d with baby #3, my edd is 7/31 but I think I'll more than likely end up with an August babe. My dd is 4yo and my ds will be 10 months next week. I was pretty active in my last bmb which was feb17, and look forward to getting to know all of you!

I am a Kate too. I just got my BFP yesterday and am only 3w5d today (DD 8/13) so I am still a bit shellshocked and nervous but am mostly cautiously optimistic it will stick. I am 33 and DH is 35, it's the first time for both of us. I am an attorney in the business litigation group of an international law firm and DH is a video editor for one of our local news affiliates (which means he is currently working midnight to 8 am but is hoping to find a different role/schedule before a baby comes). 

Hoping to be able to stick around here until August and get to know you all!

Hi I’m Kristen! I’m about 5 1/2 weeks putting around July 31/August 1st. This is will be my second child, my first, ds just turned 5! Dh and I are both teachers in NJ and I’m also a wedding and family photographer. We’re pretty overwhelmed doing this all over again!

Excited to go through this journey with all of you! First doc appointment isn't until 1/2, so this will probably be the longest month of my life

Hey Ladies! I'm Rose, pregnant with my second child due approximately August 1. Currently in Gainesville, FL. My first is 3.5 yrs old, named Liam. We meet our midwives on Friday! Then we will start looking for doulas and such. Didn't really plan this little surprise, but it is a welcomed addition. Excited to make some new friends as we go on this adventure together.

Hello I am Stephanie and I do online customer service from home. I am currently in Easton PA but me and my hubby are moving to FL in 10 days. I got my BFP on Monday and am 5 weeks 2 Days along EDD August 2nd. This will be our first child. Waiting very impatiently for my 2nd bloodwork results to make sure everything is rising properly. Hello, my name is Kathryn. My EDD is 8/12/18. This will be my first. I've had 2 miscarriages since my hubby and I started trying in Aug of 2016. We are tentatively happy to be pregnant again. 

My doctor won't see me or do any tests before 8 weeks. It's frustrating as I never make it that far. I'm using progesterone cream this time. My doctor said it wouldn't do anything as your body can't absorb it. But it turned my 25 day cycle into a perfect 28 day cycle. Hoping for a sticky baby. 

How did you find doctors that would test your hcg and progesterone?! I've tried a few different ones and they all sing the same song, nothing until 8 weeks even with 2 past miscarriages. I want science damnit!

Hello everyone!  Congratulations!  I’m Megan, I’m 32 and a SAHM of one little boy.  EDD 8/8/18!

I got my BFP this past week.  I felt very pregnant for about two days, and now really don’t- maybe things are just normalizing?  I had a very easy pregnancy with DS save for a minor SCH and random spotting throughout so maybe this one will be easy too!

*finally*!!! WTH bump... do not understand why they wait till the first whenthat doesn’t match up with when you get a bfp... anyhow. 

Cautiously here. Edd 8/9. I have 3 boys 6.5, almost 5, and 2.5 and I had 2 losses in the last year. I had a bunch of blood, hormone, and a scan of my uterus done and all was mostly fine. Taking progesterone and some other supplements. 

Im trying to keep this is the back of my mind and not the front to help the pgal anxiety, and thankfully the madness of December and having 3 boys to create Christmas Magic for will help. My losses in the past were 8/9w and that will be around Xmas/nye. 

I’m a SAHM but will be back working with this baby I think, I’ll need a new car for one thing. I live in ct, I’m ama - we’ll find out this time after 3 surprises. My kids are a major handful so hopefully this one is more calm lol

Hi all! I just found out this morning with a very firm positive test! I have a 10 month old son and lost a pregnancy before him and one about 3 months after he was born, both around 8 weeks. I'm cautiously excited and not planning on telling anyone for a few weeks at least. However, the bloat is real and idk how long I'll be able to stay out of my maternity clothes! I'm calling my ob Monday and I'm hoping they can confirm my pregnancy and give me a better date soon. I'm pretty sure I ovulated late in my cycle, but the tentative due date is Aug. 4th. So.. Fingers crossed and I can't wait to dive into the board! ❤️

@blair_krank I was mostly a lurker on that board...i joined like, second trimester after a unsettling experience in the first trimester boards before I found the month boards. I don't remember an awful lot of the screen names from back then. Also....so many J's now that I realize it... i was june 15...are we still the same j? lol

Further: finally have a new phone and space for the app. Functions better (the typos and crashes on the website were ridic) but man, I miss seeing sigs!!! 

Im an oldie, been on the boards since I got engaged (the knot) in 2004. Off and on now, my Jan 13 and June 15 groups are on fb. I don’t love the forced organization though I know it’s the culture the bump insists upon now.

lol, yes. You said June in your first post. We probably didn’t cross paths since I moved over to TCF with the implosion about halfway through the pregnancy.

Hi all! I'm very excited to be here. I'm 25 and live in New England. I found out last Sunday at 10dpo that we were pregnant with baby #3. I'm a SAHM and I have two wonderful boys, 4 and 1.5. My EDD is 8/9 and this will be my first summer due date. I'll have my first appointment in early January. I look forward to getting to know everyone and congratulations to all!

Yay! This board took foreeeever to open!
I’m a STM. I was a little active on the J16 board, but was also renovating our house and finishing my thesis while working so I got too busy to be really involved. Hoping to be much more invested this time. 

DS is almost 2 and we’re so excited to make him a big brother. We live in a row house in philly.  I’m an architect and my partner works in banking. 

Got my BFP last Sunday. EDD is 8/2 and first appointment with my midwife is 8/13. Really hoping to be able to schedule a dating ultrasound before Xmas to break the news to family!

My name's Kacey and my sweet DH and I just found out that we are cautiously expecting baby #1 (3wks+3days, EDD 8/17)! We have been TTCing for several months and had 2 very early natural miscarriages over the past 6 months at 5wks and 4wks. I'm grateful to God for the chance to carry life again :-). I will likely contact my midwives Monday to go in for confirmation and basic labs. DH and I decided that we likely wont tell anyone this time around at least until first trimester is over. I'm more symptomatic this go around than I was with the prior 2 pregnancies so I'm cautiously oh so hopeful. I'm excited to get to know you all on this exciting journey!

Hi ladies! My name is Julie. 39(tomorrow), and this is my 3rd pregnancy with two losses before 8 weeks. I am 5 weeks 1 day with a due date of Aug 3rd. 
I also was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes after my last loss 9 months ago. I have the odds stacked against me but I am cautiously optimistic.

Nice! Love love northern New England. So pretty. We did the North Conway polar express a couple years ago and just had such a great time. I really hope to do it again while we have believers... it was pure magic.
