@funkykey WTAF?? What an ignorant thing to say! Has she ever taken a biology class? What does being aggressive have to do with it? I would have let her have it as well. Most ridiculous thing I've ever heard.
@sunnyrain2 wow I wish I had known that. My Lupron was >$600 from freedom pharmacy.
@JamieH2000 My point exactly. DH even said 'Ok so if they say it has to be in the morning we will do it just after midnight' lol. I don't want to mess anything up but I feel like it makes no sense and it's probably a nurse just giving her opinion. It would also be easier for us to give it in the evening when we are at home relaxing instead of when rushing to work in the morning but whatever, I will do as they say.
It's offensive on so many levels, when you *really* think about it. And she's an educated woman from a liberal background - that sh*t is EVERYWHERE! People who just don't *think*.
@BusinessWife - It's my second transfer. I did one this summer that ended in a chemical, so this was the next cycle my body was ready for. I'm glad to be jumping back in, rather than waiting around, but I do feel like my hormones have been crazy since about May and I've kind of forgotten what I normally feel like.
@safire3 - My clinic has me do Lupron at night. I don't know the reasoning, though.
@funkykey - One thing this process has taught me is how to just take a breath and walk away from people who say ridiculously offensive things. There are just too many to take them all seriously anymore. Sad.

@funkykey what what what what. You know what? I thought we heard it all. Between idiots telling us to stop stressing to random unplanned pregnancies for all this time and that is the absolute worst thing I’ve ever heard. We aren’t in colonial times. I can’t even believe that. Come on. So did you tell your doc about the tissue or is that super normal after the procedure? Concerning regardless. For goodness sake.

@funkykey I'm sorry you were having a bad day. That friend of yours really is something. I wish I'd never be like that to anyone, I don't wanna say anything thoughtless or stupid.
@dragonette505 I'm sorry about the polyp. I've always had that question why some Dr.'s don't address the issue of polyps earlier, like before the start of IVF or something. I don't want to think that they've just plainly overlooked it. They must have some good explanation to this.
@safire3 I'm on the morning lupron cycle too. Headaches aren't bad. And I get my nausea at night ....so maybe it's better to do it in the morning & deal with the symptoms 12 hours later?? Idk. We're all different. Wishing you an easy protocol.
Ugh sorry about the polyp, can't believe they just told you @dragonette505
@funkykey Oh wow, what is wrong with your friend?! That's not even logical. Sperm aren't suddenly more active and eggs aren't more receptive because of submission vs. aggression. Why would you even think that? And then to follow it up with that announcement?! So rude and inconsiderate!! I'm so sorry you have to deal with that right now. Damn.
@dragonette505 Ummmmmmmmm........ WTF to your clinic! Also I'm confused; is the hysteroscopy because of the polyp or do they literally want you to do one before every transfer?
@Bababatty I guess it sounds like it's standard? I'm just confused. I'm gonna just see what the doc says on Tuesday. I mean.... if the polyp was a no go then they wouldn't let my transfer, right?!? Or maybe they do?
@dragonette505 that is so confusing. My clinic does a hysteroscopy before all transfers as a standard too. It seems like they did one or something like it to find the mysterious polyp in the first place?? Maybe it isn’t a big deal? Or they got you mixed up and you don’t have one? Your memes are hilarious.

@bababatty@irisheyes81 The nurse called this afternoon. 5 of our 7 fertilized eggs made it to blast! Such a relief. They have all been biopsied and frozen. The PGD testing will take 15 or so days, so we are eagerly awaiting that...but with our 50/50 odds, we could have 2 or 3 embryos that are ok and ready for FET. I'm really hoping all of our future babies are in there
The nurse said I should call with CD1 and they will get me set up with estrace with a goal of FET the first week of November!
@adirat 5 out of 7?? That's so wonderful! Especially because I know you were worried that you had low numbers going into the ER. Definitely a relief! Good luck with the PGD testing!
@adirat that.is.amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm so happy for you. Those are great numbers. I wish my clinic didn't travel at a snail speed. Your timeline is so awesome and so soon!

@Irisheyes81 no new news yet... I'm just assuming the so called "polyp" will be a fibroid.... I mean.... this is my uterus we are talking about... always has to be *extra* lol
Ugh the clinic I'm at is merging with the other local clinic. The new doctor has been reviewing all of the patient files since he'll be doing some of the procedures. Apparently when I had a preconception consult with MFM last year they recommended a EKG and 24 hr urine for me, and I have to get a doctors note from my regular Endocrinologist saying it's ok for me to do fertility treatments (I've done two transfers already this year). I hope this doesn't delay things since the lab closes Nov 17th until after the new year for the holidays. This is the first time I'm hearing about these additional tests.
When I was pregnant with my daughter I had gestational diabetes and required insulin 4x a day. I was also induced at 37 weeks due to erratic BP (it would bounce from normal to 160/100+ every few minutes). I had 4 EKGs then, and was fine. I was diagnosed with Type II diabetes and Hypertension a year later so I'm on lots of maintenance meds. Due to my history MFM wants me to get checked out, more thoroughly than my PCP evidently. The new RE also wants my a1c under 6 when my Endo and MFM said under 6.5 was fine. I'm currently at 6.2.
I'm pretty frustrated that my other doctors weren't concerned but this new RE is making me jump through hoops to do what I've already been doing.

@dragonette505 I've been thinking about you and I think getting that polyp out before your ET is not a bad idea especially if your RE suggests it. But whatever you feel is right, pls go for it.
