Has anyone gotten an ultrasound super early (6 weeks) before? With my first, our first appt wasn't until 9 weeks, and now I'm just wondering what I should (or shouldn't) be expecting from our Friday appt.

I have gotten an scan at 5 weeks and some odd days, and will be getting a scan on Tuesday and will be around 6 weeks (according to LMP). Don't expect to see to much this early, maybe just the sac. I have early scans because I'm with a reproductive endocrinologist and they tend to monitor much more closely for their patients in the early weeks.

Thank you ladies! And oops, sorry- just realized I wasn't supposed to post that here. I appreciate the feedback! I'm going to see if they will take me later.
@stow2009 I got one at 6 weeks but it was mostly because I has a blood thing (I dont even know what it was to be honest) and so they did one to see. Literally just saw a little flashing light which was the heart beat.
@stow2009 the earliest I've ever had an ultrasound was 6 weeks 5 days, and have seen a heartbeat by then. I'm having mine next week at 7 weeks because of doing ivf.
Last time around, my LMP put me much further along than I actually was because I have longer periods, so I went in earlier than normal. When they thought I was 7 weeks, I was actually 5 weeks, and all I saw was the diamond ring shape. When I went back the following week, I heard the heartbeat and was dated 6w3d.
I had an ultrasound at 5w and some days with my son. That cycle I conceived him was really long and they brought me in based on LMP, but it was too early for an ultrasound. You just see a fetal pole and yolk sac. It's not enough to tell whether the pregnancy is viable as there's not a detectable heartbeat yet. I had another one a week or so later. They measured the CRL to get a due date and got the heartbeat.
Had one at 6w4d with my daughter. Again, they measured the CRL and got the heartbeat.
I'm going on Thursday for an US with this baby; I'll be 6w3d based on LMP.
My Ob doesn't do an ultrasound until 10-11 weeks. I'm super antsy to hear heartbeat and make sure everything is okay. With my daughter we went to a boutique place at 7.5/8 weeks and got one done and heard a heartbeat we are thinking of doing that again just for some peace of mind that everything's okay.
Mine was 4 weeks and 6 days. I didn't know how far along I was as my last period was extremely light so they wanted to check. I go back tomorrow for a 2nd one. I will be 6 weeks and 5 days.
Say hello to our sweet little peanut! Measuring 6 weeks 6 days giving us a due date of 2/27 (but we like it here so hope we can stay, plus big sister was late, so this baby could very well be, too). Heart rate was 163 bpm. Praying this is our rainbow and hope you will, too!
Here's our sweet pea. I went in to get some spotting checked out (everything looks fine!) and so we got to meet our little one. Measuring 6+1 with a heartbeat of 120.
