I got my trigger shot around midnight last night, got home around 1am, slept at 1:30. Woke up from a dream, I remembered it. I was chit chatting with my Dr and 2 other doctors, they were prepping me for my ER. The last thing I remember my dr saying to me was to keep myself warm. Then I woke up.
I don't feel so sore as much as last night. My breasts are still so tender though. Got a bit of a headache and that's it. It is making me worried that I might have ovulated already and that my ER would be cancelled tomorrow. But what would my worry do? I've just come back to bed and I'll see if my dr will come back in my dream and give me further instructions.
Thank you!!! Everyone! (If there's tags on the prev page, I'm sorry!!!) @southerngirl31 @dragonette505. Omg that kitten gif for real made me giggle out loud!

Thanks, lady! I hope everything is looking good! I'm going in for my post trigger scan right now...
oh yeah... AFM Had monitoring this morning and my follies are still humping along slowly. I go back Sunday for BW and US but my doc thinks ill start ganerelix on Saturday. So far most of my little dudes are grouped similarly sized so hoping they stay that way... She doesn't bother counting them all, just the ones she feels will be the cohort that sticks together and of that shes counting about 15. She says we will not get them all, but still likes that they are growing together. My *best* guess is triggering anywhere between Monday and Wednesday
@dragonette505 yay for a good appointment! It's great that so many are growing together. We will likely be triggering around the same time! Btw that egg gif is life
Had my appointment this morning too and I had 9 today ranging from 12.8 to 4mm. Apparently some new ones just popped up on the right but I don't know if they will grow fast enough to make the cut. I am still happy though because 9 is better than 5! Estrogen has also gone up to the 600s so protocol stays the same. The nurse said I can expect to stim for about 4 more days so we are looking at retrieval maybe middle of next week! Next check-up is Saturday.
@safire3 I'm so happy I found that gif!! Yay...hoping we are trigger and retrieval buddies!!! Those are great numbers... dude... I'm just hoping I can walk away with at least one frozen
HHHHmmmmm... Just got my bw and latest updated calendar with meds and I have no meds change (which is weird to me since I'm stimming slow and my estrogen is not very high yet) but I'm ADDING ganerelix TOMORROW (instead of Saturday like she thought). I mean, its just one day early, but I'm surprised... I cant figure my new doc out...lol I'm such a veteran but that doesn't matter since she keeps me confused
Does anyone know if there a maximum number of days that you be on the stimulation meds? I am currently on Day 10 of my stim meds and I think I may stim for 1-2 more days, if not more, and wonder if longer stimulation will affect egg quality? I am stimming for longer than I did the last 2 times, and am just wondering.

@dragonette505. Oh jeez, that's got to be so hard to let go and trust the process with a new doc... :# this is why you switched tho, right? To try something different??? ;) (((hugs)))
@safire3. It's still so early! Mine went from 51-234-799-1203-1481-2383 to over 4000 after trigger! Yours will rise too as you go along... (((hugs))) so excited for you both next week!!!
@angelbea 12 days stimming is totally cool. You wont be overcooked at that point. I think as long as you are responding to the meds you should be in a good place. Ive def stimmed as long as 13 or 14 days.
@BusinessWife Exactly so! I told her during my appointment I'm just going to trust her and that I put myself into her hands... and immediately after I'm all like:
@angelbea I stimmed for 14 days last month. You're good!
@BusinessWife How many did they see on scan today? What was the size range?
@Hopeful_mom 8dp and I still feel a whole bunch of nothing pretty much. I did have some "lightning" pains down low on the right today but that's probably just gas lol.

@allycheer00. I dunno what to think. It was a different doctor measuring today, and I think she said she was focusing on the measurable ones...
So it looks like the count went down, but maybe it really didn't? If she just disregarded some more of the small ones?? This is today: <div class=" Spoiler"><img src="https://us.v-cdn.net/5020794/uploads/editor/to/lgofxbbgw9hf.jpg" alt="" title="Image: https://us.v-cdn.net/5020794/uploads/editor/to/lgofxbbgw9hf.jpg"></div>Previous: <div class=" Spoiler"><img src="https://us.v-cdn.net/5020794/uploads/editor/h2/71xlvzq386u3.jpg" alt="" title="Image: https://us.v-cdn.net/5020794/uploads/editor/h2/71xlvzq386u3.jpg"></div>
@dragonette505, @allycheer00 & @BusinessWife: Thank you for the feedback -- for some reason, I just compare everything to my last 2 cycles (which were not hugely successful, so not sure why), so glad to know that it's a-ok to stim longer. I have another u/s tomorrow, so should find out ER date then as well. I'm still guessing Monday, but could be Tuesday too.
WOW @BusinessWife! I'm jelly of your follicle count and number! 9 on one side and 14 on the other?? And so many big ones! How are you walking?! Impressive. Well done!
@dragonette505: Oh my, that was the BEST meme by far!! And so me as well;) My DH thinks I should become an embryologist at this stage:)
Me: 41; DH: 45 Both married for the first time in our 40s; went straight to IVF after multiple fibroid surgeries (2/17) ER: #1: agonist/antagonist protocol: 19 eggs; 8 mature; 13 fertilized; 1 7-day blast (6BA = abnormal/non-viable) (4/17) ER: #2: same protocol but stimmed an extra 2 days: 16 eggs; 10 mature (5 more matured in lab); 13 fertilized; 2 6-day blasts (5AA & 6BA) & 2 7-day blasts (6BA & 5BB): only 1 Day 6 6BA tested normal! Aww, thank You! @angelbea For as much as I know about ttc, all this ivf stuff is so foreign to me. I hardly know what I'm looking at, or what we are aiming for. The numbers just don't mean all that much to me. So as long as you think it looks great, I'll take It! Phew! I have really mostly felt fine this whole time, until yesterday/ today - actually last night of stimms hit me like a tonne of bricks, and then I have started getting twinges and feeling more uncomfortable today, but surprisingly tolerable! The doctor today walked right in and first thing said things are looking great! Then she scanned me and said "average"!??!?? So uhm.... like I said, I feel like I don't know what to think. :/
@angelbea I'm so crazy I actually found a powerpoint deck that is used to teach embryologist students about embryo stages and grades... so yeah! We can definitely get cray with the googling!! Its hard not to compare because all we have as far as trying to predict outcomes. But while I am good at understanding the process and terrible about predicting my own outcomes.. and I think that's also natural,... we are all better at looking at someone else's cycle than we are at our own You and I are in the same boat so I guess we just need to let our doctors be the doctors (but I will give y'all the link to that embryology deck if you are interested in being as crazy as me!)
@BusinessWife after trigger it gets really heavy down there.. its not just that they are growing a bit more (which they are) but the trigger causes a hormone cascade and your eggs are actually doing the most important thing before fertilization... meiosis! Like this is legit, to me the most important phase. It takes a shit ton of energy to get this right so I always say give your body the rest it needs to do this job. I always chill and eat up good on the day after trigger. ps.... what did your doc mean by "average"??? That's one word I'd never associate with you... more like: *ahem* EGGCEPTIONAL!!! lol... I crack me up.... lol

Omg @dragonette505. You're hilarious! I did notice the night we had a great big dinner of salmon and lots of healthy fats, black beans, broccoli etc. (Plus increased my follistim,) my counts absolutely shot up the next day! Let me see what I can do... ;)
@dragonette505 it's 7am now here and my ER is at 12nn. This is going to be my 3rd time in that operation theater this year- 1)Lap for endometriosis In Jan 2) Polyp removal in May 3) ER today. But I'm more nervous now I think. I didn't have much sympoms yesterday, just felt tired and a few twinges. I just rested and laid down all day.
@allycheer00 you probably said this before but when is your beta again? Remember symptoms mean nothing at this point. We have everything crossed for you!
@dragonette505 I guess slow and steady, right? Maybe this is part of trying to get good quality over numbers. Hopefully things are looking good on Sunday.
@BusinessWife can't wait to hear your report tomorrow! That report today looks very impressive to me, definitely not average.
dragonette505 hmmmm thats interesting, I"m jealous I can't do it as the antagonist is the protocol that worked way better then the mirdose one. I would've loved to try the HGH but I was told no And having this last outcome obviously pisses me off more!!! I'm hoping it will do wonders for you!!!
Momifbysea thinking of you and hoping you're feeling a lil better...I know it takes a while as I was so busy at work I didn't have time for tears....until I had a friend stop by my job on an off chance I was here to say high. And shes one of my only friends that knows my struggles as she has gone through the struggle as well...but has had success. The water works started but I think she was sent to come visit as I needed the reminder that this process is going to work.
Bababatty you're not a lurker but is is tough to miss a day here we are on fire I know its so tough on what to do. I"m praying my miracles are in this batch for sure!! Don't think I haven't contemplated to do another cycle again....I know everyone thinks i'm nuts...including OH and he wont hear of it. We have to try with what we have and then address after if we have too. I think i'm just so scared I want to make sure i've given it my all and will be victorious! What does your RE think you should do?? How old are you again?
angelbeaits interesting cause I would've worried about the same thing BUT I will say that the cycles I stemmed longer on are the ones I got more normies on I've gone a good 14days too so don't worry...near the end is when things start to pick up.
allycheer00 I thought ur beta was on the 5th...sat woohoo that's awesome. You have will power girl! Hoping we get some good high numbers!
@BusinessWife I can't believe you actually got a report today - how amazing is that! I only get blood taken the day before! You're report looks great - and I really think we can see some double digits in your future. SO excited for you - best of luck!!

Lol! Yes! Think of all the fuel you need to mature those eggs! It sorta sux when docs measure differently.... my Saturday doc won't be my normal and my doc has already warned me he goes by the largest number and she goes by average. It ought to be interesting.... i think you are gonna have a great retrieval! I'm honestly going to be stalking you again!! Lol
@dragonette505 I guess slow and steady, right? Maybe this is part of trying to get good quality over numbers. Hopefully things are looking good on Sunday.
Yup! You're going in Sat?? We both should come out of this weekend with a better idea! Do you know when you start ganerelix??
Yes @dragonette505 I'll post whatever is happening. Since I joined here, I couldn't stop getting involved. Honestly, none of my family members (both my side and DH side) know we're doing IVF. We just don't want them to worry so much for us. Only a couple of friends from church and a couple from work know this. This forum is a big help for me for I can at least voice out even the tiny ache and tear that happen as soon as they happen.
i want to give a special shout out to your gifs

Good luck at your retrieval tomorrow @BusinessWife! I think you'll get more than you expect
