@Amber_Waves That's a great idea, I didn't even think of ebay! I've been bargain hunting for all my maternity clothes on Poshmark. The shipping costs can be a PITA (sometimes more than the cheap items themselves), but like you said, buying bundles can save huge $$.
My mom took me on a maternity clothes shopping spree yesterday as my belated birthday present! I found some good tops and a great skirt at Clothes Mentor, but their pants were awful. Old Navy didn't have much of a selection, but I still ended up with several cute tops and a cute pair of pants at a STEEP discount (I think we paid $25 total for 5 or 6 items). We went to Marshalls and they told us that they don't have a maternity section, so that was a surprise! And I was pretty underwhelmed by Target's selection. They didn't have a single pair of work appropriate pants, which made me rage a bit! I did find a cute dress and some leggings, but I thought the leggings were on the pricey side (but I'm admittedly kind of cheap). I also went home and looked on the Motherhood website and they were having a great sale, so I bought 2 pairs of work pants for $17 each, plus $6 for shipping. So relieved that I'll have pants/skirts to wear to work now!
The cashier at old navy told me that they are phasing out all in store maternity items. You will only be able to purchase online. I'm bummed because I like trying things on. But, the stuff that's still in the stores is very discounted. I got a pair of cute boyfriend jeans for ten bucks.
@kaylawingThat's good to know! I don't know if it was a misprint or the actual price, but the pair of black pixie ankle pants I got from Old Navy was listed on the receipt as being 68 cents! There was something else underneath that I couldn't identify that was listed as $11 so I'm thinking maybe that was the real price, but I definitely did a major double take!
I second @cait5413 about Targets new maternity line. Some stores already have the new line, others not yet. Everything is between $9.99-39.99, and there is a guide to help you pick what styles work best for your body (side panel, Demi panel, full panel, etc.).
Also, Kohls has maternity clothes too!! They stopped carrying for a while and around this time last year, brought it back. Some store selections are kind of small, but online it's fairly decent.
@elcd458 I saw it in stores about a month ago in my area (Austin area), but I wasn't a big fan and prices were a bit steep for this being my last planned pregnancy. I'm all about the bargains!
My Kohls had a few LC items, and while they were cute, I couldn't justify the price. I really like the a.glow line. Most of it is super soft, the full panels aren't itchy!!!! And they're all decent prices (buy 1 get 1 half off or free, or on crazy sale). Although id really like to find side panel denim capris/crops!! I know I could easily buy full length jeans and hem them, but I'm feeling lazy.
@splsmama2016 i'm not sure what's in stock right now, since old navy really changes things up seasonally, but they seem to be the winners if you like side panel, crops, or both. not sure about denim but definitely other fabrics

KathrynJ088 I just got a Pea in the Pod shirt from Clothes Mentor for $10. I didn't realize they were so expensive, so now I feel even happier about that purchase!
I know I mentioned this earlier but the dress I liked at Pea in the Pod was $130. Not only is this INSANE, but they had the exact same style, cut, everything but in a different print for $40. That just proves you are a messing with me.
@anewadventure most of my pants from my last pregnancy are from ON I'm just too lazy to go to the closest one to me (about a 20 minute drive), and I don't feel like dealing with toddler tantrums in the store haha. And I keep forgetting to look online. Oops
My friend gave me a huge box of super cute maternity stuff. She's a freaking lifesaver! Black skinny jeans, regular skinny jeans, helllllllla tank tops and regular tops, leggings - all really good quality Pea in the Pod stuff. Omg I've been texting her thank you every single day because I was seriously starting to freak out about finding cute stuff that didn't make me feel like a whale.
so, fyi for those of you that want longer tops, either because you're tall or you like to wear leggings - gap maternity shirts all seem to be super long. in particular the "pure body" line (think very thin cotton) and some of their newer stuff like this https://www.gap.com/browse/product.do?cid=6053&pcid=6049&vid=1&pid=274358082 that shirt above, in particular, i was so desperate to like. it was buttery soft, and a more substantial cotton weight, but the length just didn't work for me.

@anewadventure Just put two colors of that in my cart because yay stripes and soft and long! But I'm cheap AF so I'm like, "Do I want to spend $20/shirt?" (after 25% off from signing up for emails). Hahaha.
@MJDsquared i'm with you on cheap. however, if you plan to have more than one kid (and even if you don't - we've got a ways to go) the quality of the striped shirt was much nicer than the usual stuff i can get for cheap. it should last. and besides, you can get away with wearing the same shirt multiple times per week, especially later in pregnancy. just DARE someone to say something.

also i know we had a separate thread a long time back about bathing suits but i am too lazy to dig it up. after finally realizing it was panic time since i'm going to the beach for a week soon (three weeks from now), i have been upping the ante on my suit search with zero luck. i have an amazon order arriving today and will report back. if that falls through...yikes...i'll be outlet shopping in the hopes that someone still has NOT ONLY bathing suits, but maternity ones, and they don't all suck a lot.
in the meantime did anyone have further luck on the bathing suit tack? fwiw i just want a tankini top, i'm ok on bottoms, and i don't want to mess around with a one-piece. and i've got so many thousand stretch marks from DS that bikinis are never happening.

@anewadventure I got a Motherhood Maternity tankini during a BOGO sale a month or so ago. Even full price it wasn't super pricy, maybe $30ish. It's cute and honestly would look good even post-baby.
Gap has online 40% off coupons pretty frequently from what I've noticed. I had a bit of a splurge when 70% of my wardrobe quit fitting me (guilt free). I also second the Pure Body line. That striped t-shirt is one of my favorites.
Another trick with Gap, if you have an account, is to put stuff in your cart but not check out. In a few days they send an email with "Did you forget something?" and usually a pretty good coupon. I basically don't order anything from them anymore unless it's with the 40% off!

@anewadventure- I love my Old Navy maternity suit! Also noticed cute suits are clearanced out at Motherhood/Pea in the Pod.
I got most of my maternity clothes from Old Navy, as this will likely be my last pregnancy. I also love getting flowy tops from Ross in a size or two up- I'm plus-sized, so maternity options are really limited.
I had to buy new bras yesterday, hence the trek to the maternity store. 40 G nursing bras. Oh, the humanity! I've been rocking my 38 DDD and was so uncomfortable, but 40G is a terrifying number- LOL!
There seems to be a lot of PinkBlush stuff on Zulily right now, in case anyone is in the same boat as me and frantically looking for non-frumpy stuff to wear to weddings this fall
Reviving this thread because I need some help... I live in rainy Oregon and my waterproof jackets are just barely fitting me still. I've googled away and can't find any truly waterproof maternity coats. Any ideas?
@ashtynmo Do you have any kids consignment stores in your area? I know some of the ones down here also will sell maternity items-- coats are so expensive that they are something I've definitely considered getting secondhand. It's still so hot here that I haven't looked into it much yet, though.
Anyone else getting tired of wearing this same thing? Uggghhhh I have 2 maternity dresses, 3 pairs of pants, and about 5 topss, 2 tees. I don't have one single winter item. Since I'm in Tennessee odds of it getting really cold are low so I'm trying not to stress over it but I'm tired of the same stuff. Its 90 today so gonna bring the maxi dress back out.
@elcd458 good idea, there are none close by but in sure it's worth the drive. I got a lot of hand-me-downs but from someone who was pregnant January-September so our seasons totally don't match up haha. I also found a rain coat at Nordstrom.com and it converts to a non-maternity afterwards... may buy that one!
@ashtynmo I found a cold weather coat on thredup, an online consignment shop with a pretty good selection of maternity clothes!
Also, look on eBay for the Japanese Weekend Mamacoat. The company closed, but this coat is amazing! You can wear it for maternity, while wearing baby, and as a regular coat. It's spendy but my friends in rainy climates depended on it!!
@dkizz82 YES. Similar to @ashtynmo situation, I was gifted hand-me-downs from a friend who apparently never actually needed maternity clothes until wintertime with either child even though she gave birth in both May and December. Most of what I have is long sleeved, or too casual for work purposes. I have a couple of dresses from Zulily, but they are ironically too nice for work. So essentially I'm wearing the same 2 pairs of leggings or black slacks and one of 3 shirts every single day until it cools down outside.
Ugh. I've spent way more $$ on maternity clothes than I ever wanted to, but I'm really petite and it's been so hard to find clothes that fit (4'11'', so no hand-me-downs for me). Boo. I've tried to hit up Loft or Old Navy/Gap when there are sales, but still. I felt good having well-fitting pregnancy pants for work/play, but now all my previously big and flowy tunics are turning into crop tops. I can't wait until fall finally arrives in TX so that I can break out my cold-weather clothes. I'm desperate for more variety in clothing! Really hoping I can squeeze back into my pre-pregnancy clothes one day- I miss them! I especially miss being able to tucks my tops into my pants and buttons/zippers/belts. It's the little things!

Side note: some of the Pea in a Pod tops were about $60 on clearance, between 80-90 regular priced!!! How can anyone afford that?!?!
