@starphish18 - my first two kids were pretty much 8 lbs when born and we only used the NB diapers the hospital gave us. Other than that they moved right along to size 1. I think DD could've been in NB for a week or two longer but most diapers really don't go all the way up to the weight they say before leaks become an issue.
@SKZW -- good luck tomorrow!! Showering without a baby inside my belly makes me sad for some reason!

@skzw - will be my only/last pregnancy. I'll definitely miss having an excuse to eat whatever I'm craving. Also having H do things for me, like laundry. Not looking forward to doing laundry again.
@SKZW I'm a FTM but I will miss baby kicks and the fact that she's always with me. The thought of being separated from her already makes me sad. Oh and she's also super portable this way...as opposed to when she's outside and we apparently need a whole billion things like a pack rat to make it anywhere.
Last pregnancy here too but I don't feel like I will miss it. I don't know if thats odd but I didn't miss it after DD. We knew we wanted two and be done. I do absolutely love watching DD grow and am so so excited for that with this LO.
@SKZW Thinking of you and I hope tomorrow goes extremely smoothly. I understand missing or even mourning the pregnancy. I am feeling very ready to be done, but know I will miss seeing my belly, feeling baby, and the ease of caring for baby right now. Also selfishly getting DH to do a bit more than usual. We haven't decide if there will be a third, but if we decide on two I am sure I will be very sad that I didn't soak up this pregnancy more.
I will miss DH being on litter box duty!!! I hate it. I'm not even a giant fan of cats (they were his) but he is the laundry master and does lots of dishes & other cleaning so I feel like it's my duty. He hates getting his hands dirty so I usually take up those jobs because I don't care at all (trimming or seasoning raw meat, for example). We'll see how quickly he is desensitized to it with a newborn baby, Lol!
Any advice on changing tables? We have a topper in our bedroom on the main floor. I'm wondering if we should have a second in the kitchen/living room area as eventually she will be moved upstairs. Is it worth getting a second one or just use any surface?
I miss feeling all the movements, kicks and all. This was my last pregnancy and I wish I would have had at least one pregnancy that made it to 39 weeks. I'll also miss the built in excuse for having a slower 5k pace.
@SKZW I know what you mean with two and through. I thought it was our last, then didnt, but just yesterday we were both thinking about it separately coincidentally and came to the same conclusion.
The things I'll miss about being pregnant thst first comes to mind: the belly, the movements, the superpower of growing a human, lol.
Eta: good luck tomorrow @skzw. Can't wait to read your updated! Lots o positive vibes your way!
@SWE2 we have a caddy in the living room with diapers, wipes, and a fabric roll up a&a changing pad. It's worked great for 2.5 years now.
We don't bother rolling and buttoning it, we just fold it up and stick it in the caddy. Also if you cut the buttons off it becomes two sided so you don't have to worry about getting it right side up.

@swe2 For downstairs, we used a pack n play to change diapers. It's not the ideal height, but until LO is sitting up, it contains them well while you wash up.
@SKZW - two and through here, also! I'm a terrible pregnant woman, though. Literally all I'm going to miss is the fact that it's socially acceptable to do things like eat dessert for breakfast! I much prefer meeting the baby to the growing process! Good luck tomorrow!! Hope everything goes smoothly, and you're enjoying baby snuggles asap!
@swe2 - we have our changing table in the second floor, where the kids' bedrooms are. For the first floor, in the early days I used the pack n play changing attachment. As DS got bigger, we just kept ordering the incontinence pads and laid them on our bed. As long as no accidents happen during a diaper change, we use them more than once.
I'm totally on the opposite end of the mourning pregnancy spectrum. I loved feeling the kicks, but I hated being pregnant. I feel bad at times becuse I know so many struggle getting pregnant. However, pregnancy is so hard on my body, I feel like I'm not built to be pregnant. This was my last pregnancy and I'm just so happy to have little Brenner here now! I feel relieved.
Last baby here too. I'm feeling slightly sad but then I was putting away all my heavy winter maternity clothes and was not sad one single bit! I'm so over maternity clothes.

@SWE2: For the first couple of weeks, for our downstairs, we used a changing pad on a table surface, then transitioned to all changes being upstairs. If you made a purchase, I'd suggest thinking about how you'd use a second changing table once you're over and done with it in a few years. Could it be a side table or bookcase? Would you sell it? I think a changing pad (even a foldable portable one from a diaper bag like PP said) is the way to go while you establish a routine and figure out what works best.
@SKZW - Lots of luck to you tomorrow! This is our last one, too, and I'll definitely miss the movements and the freedom to indulge with food and wear leggings almost every day. Not looking forward to pants with zippers!
@SWE2 - We used the PNP for diaper changes downstairs when baby was small. Later we used the extra changing pad from the diaper bag on the couch or the floor. You can probably live without another topper.
@SKZW good luck tomorrow!! We don't know if we'll be doing this again, and I'm totally going to miss the comfy clothes and knowing he's with me all the time.
@SKZW good luck tomorrow!! This is most likely my last baby too. I'll miss feeling her move around and letting other people feel her too.
Other than that I'm pretty excited to get a little control back over my body and get to stop taking my nausea medication! I think about having a third but I had full blown HG this time and I've heard that it tends to get worse every pregnancy and mama needs to work.
@SKZW good luck tomorrow! DH says this is the last pregnancy but we had originally agreed on 3-4 kids so we will see. I don't mind being pregnant so I could do it again. I haven't really soaked this one in enough because in my mind this isn't our last. I'll be sad if it is.
Good luck tomorrow @SKZW! I'll be thinking about you.
This is probably my last pregnancy too, but like @MrsFreeman2010 I haven't really soaked it in enough for a variety of reasons, but partly because I haven't really accepted this is actually our last. All things considered I do actually like being pregnant.
I can't remember who all asked and I'm WAY Behind, but yea bikini wax. I forgot to take Tylenol first and for the most part, it was fine. Just one really painful strip. I would normally do a brazilian or a tight bikini, but didn't want to look over done (hahaha) so I just did regular and now wish I'd done a bit more. Anyways, TMI. It was...bearable. Waxing never bugs me too too much though.
@sweaterboots Thats awesome! I would beg Pacsun and places to sell me their posters.
@NotAPlaya-JustCrushAlot Yup! JITT! I typically go every time and I have done the VIP once and loved it as I hate the crowds, but it's so pricey I figured it's only worth it if you're specifically looking for something. We didn't end up making it yesterday so we went today. Way, way less people though H was complaining about the crowds, I was like uhh this is the emptiest I've seen it besides early bird. It was quite picked through (though I know vendors set out new stuff) and I think I just wasn't feeling it. I don't really want anything for the house at the moment and the baby stuff was meh. I want a Pocket of Posies doll, but want to see if baby is a girl and then pick hair and what not. I did get some Mama's Cold Brew though, so ahhh...
Thanks for your suggestions but I totally wasn't clear; Colt is DS's name. We are trying to find a C or R name that will work for this LO.
I wish we had a top three and would probably do the same as you. So far we have 1 R name we both like but I feel like if we don't have at least another choice, that will be his name by default.
@SKZW Just finished folding DS' newborn to 3 month clothing and the memories came flooding back. I fricken ADORE tiny clothes and socks! It's gonna be so cool to see this LO in them. I will also get some new stuff that'll be just his.
Anyways, thinking of you and that soon enough your new LO will be in your arms. G'luck.
Any advice on changing tables? We have a topper in our bedroom on the main floor. I'm wondering if we should have a second in the kitchen/living room area as eventually she will be moved upstairs. Is it worth getting a second one or just use any surface?
Dh and I make "damper station" kits out of diaper boxes and I'll cover the diaper box(after cutting it to size) with material and fill it with diaper essentials (wipes diapers vaseline ointment and any other stuff you need) or we buy the cloth organization boxes and use those also we keep one in our rm and one in the living rm. Maybe a changing mat the ones that are already cushioned and all you could keep one in family rm and one in your main rm with the changing kit so it's portable to move where you need it into any rm and your main one stays in same spot (of all this made sense wish u had pic's to show lol
@mrsrep123 I just finished washing newborn and 0-3 over the weekend too. I had to lay a current onesie next to one of the newborn ones to compare. They are so tiny! And the socks!! I got sad about the clothes that will be missed due to different seasons.
@mrsrep123 we're still working on names too. I was actually looking for the name thread last night for some ideas. We're set for a girl, but stumped on a boy name. It wouldn't bother me if the thread was bumped up.
@SKZW, best of luck to you today!! Can't wait to see the birth announcement!!
@SWE2, we have a little basket in our living room and one in our bedroom with diapers, wipes, rash cream, a back up outfit, and an oversized changing pad. We do diaper changes using the pad either on the couch or on the floor. Works like a charm and it seems easy to store away when not using (I hate feeling like baby gear has taken over my house).
As for missing pregnancy, this was my last baby and I'm totally ok with it. Much like @pshaortao, I can't wait to see what this little lady is like as she grows. And like @BeachMommy2B, I don't think my body is built for pregnancy and I'm so relieved that we've got our little family here!
@SKZW good luck today! Can't wait to hear all about it!!
We are also undecided on names. We do have one we agree on, but I just don't feel like it's his name and want to have a backup or two so we are not stressing about it at the hospital.

C and R names... We just can't find anything to go with Colt

Colt Reynolds, Colt Rigby, Colt Ralston, Colt Ramsey, that's all I can think of that isn't a basic combo like Colt Richard, etc.
