@jena333-2@mrstacos Those pictures are amazing! DH and I went to South Africa for our honeymoon and then again because there was a really good deal and we couldn't help ourselves. If you can handle the flight, GO GO GO. It's amazing!

@DPandMB I read that comment in the same tone I would have said it to a friend if she were saying ridiculous things about her size. You're right, thank you. Can I just blame hormones for my temporary bout of insecurity? Can I just blame hormones for everything?
Yes @mrs_tacos. And I can only say those things since I too was saying how huge I feel like I looked earlier this morning. Plus also I blame hormones for everything.
@mrsmarygs This popped up on my facebook today, and I thought it was accurate for a lot of the women here. Hope the rest of your week gets better! ((hugs))
I have now procrastinated my errands long enough that if I leave now I will get stuck in rush hour traffic on the way home. Why am I this way? Why do I do this to myself?
Sorry I've been half assing it today, DS is a royal brat today. SO needy....we've watched Moana five times in the last two days. I'm about to restart it while we eat dinner. I'm pretty sure he's got two molars coming in right now. Anywho, I'll be catching up, just know I'm around!
The pizza delivery guy just left... as I was signing the receipt (DH paid online) he said "That sure was a long drive... you want to add some to that tip?"
Does that seem rude to anyone else? Not that it really matters, but they can't be more than 10 minutes from my house.
@HollyGolightly09 How rude! I would have been tempted to look him in the eye and scratch out the tip and lower it right in front of him. Then again, this pregnancy is making me extra sassy, or rather making me less hesitant to let the world see how sassy I really am.
@wyomama0427@mrs_tacos I just kind of side eyed him and said "He put a tip on there, right?" And then took my pizzas and went inside. I should have said "Be grateful you bloody git!"
ETA @wyomama0427 I just finished the first episode of 13 Reasons Why... all your talk about it talked me into it.
@mrs_tacos I feel like you and I are so similar. DH actually told me that I am ridiculously sassy this time around ha! I don't even care.... oops. Heh.
@mrs_tacos I think your bump is absolutely adorable!
In the pregnancy group I was a part of when I was pregnant with DD there were a lot of members that barely looked pregnant at all even in the middle of their third trimester. Then there I was getting asked by everyone under the sun if "I'm sure there's only one in there."
@mrs_tacos I'm not sure when that will be, we were hoping to visit some time before this baby but I'm not sure that will happen, DH is in fire academy every Wednesday and his mom has school on weekends.. (edited to add she also works full time during the week) his academy isn't over until July and I'll be too far along to travel to NY so we'll probably have to wait until after this baby. Blah.
@Msashley2010 You are always so kind. I feel your pain, I have been asked already if I'm sure it's not twins, by another pregnant woman no less, because she didn't show until 25 weeks, and couldn't believe I was already showing so much.

That's like asking a parent if they're sure their kid isn't a few years older because they are taller than the other kids.
Hahaha. I had a stomach ache this morning... I just felt bad and nauseous. I started feeling better and I grabbed a handful of sweet tart jelly beans and DH starts talking to DS.. "Mommy had a tummy ache... now she's eating jelly beans... but we're not gonna say anything because momma is pregnant." Hahahahahaha!

A lady in my office is like this. I'm pretty sure my bump is just about as big as hers and she's 29 weeks.

I would have such a hard time not being snarky with her after such a comment. I'm pretty sure most pregnant women deal with some level of insecurity throughout various portions of their pregnancy. To say such a thing to another pregnant woman is just rude and so uncalled for.

I just decided to assume she doesn't have any frame of reference except her own experience. She's young-ish, her pregnancy was a surprise, and she openly admits none of her siblings or friends have ever been pregnant, and she was completely unprepared. She's always come across to me as someone who just doesn't get social morays, and I feel kind of bad for her because her SO is kind of a douche, and hasn't been very helpful. But I didn't feel so bad that I didn't also take the opportunity to inform her than every body responds differently to pregnancy, and also she's way taller than me, which can also affect how you show.
@mrs_tacos oh lawdy. Ha yes. A hospital room is so very similar to Walmart. There are so many things I could say. I'd loooooove to see her posts after she does give birth and see how her mind's changed. Either that or she's going to be so traumatized she won't be able to look anyone in the eye ever again.
@mrs_tacos I saw that too and laaaaughed! Modesty. HA! I think my sister accidentally got a good view of the cervix check they did before taking me to the operating room lol

"Sir, how exactly did your wife lose her mind?"
"Well, a few doctors saw her lady parts when they were delivering our baby, and it was just too much for her delicate sense of modesty."
I'm a fairly modest person, but she needs to chill. And calling medical professionals pervs for seeing your vag is so over the line, I don't even know what to say to that.
