Thinking of all those feeling like crap at the moment. Hang in there! I'm just feeling tired and grumpy really. I struggle with these early weeks of pregnancy because it doesn't feel real. Give me an obvious bump and a kicking baby!
@SRB130 yep my sex drive is not there. I don't feel like it and have no urge to initiate. However, once started, I do get into it.
I figure it's kind of practice for when baby comes. Everyone says that you need to carve special time for your SO once you're a parent, so I figure if I can't find 20 minutes for him now then I'm not going to be able to once baby arrives!
He knows not to even try in the day time though (when I'm so nauseas), so his window is in the late evening when I feel a bit better after dinner:) oh and definitely not every day ahaha I totally turned him down last night, no regrets;)
@shepersisted@jess0211 Just to add to the shortness of breath conversation: I was running late yesterday so I was calling a parent (because her son had cut himself in class today) while walking to my car and wound up leaving this voicemail in which I sound like I had just run a mile... seriously gasping between sentences. I was so embarased.
And yes, my sex drive has been way low too. Come back please!

Literally when I say I don't have a migraine, I get a migraine, and when I say I don't have nausea, I have nausea. Working so hard to not throw up at work. Can I go home yet? Bless all you ladies who deal with this constantly, you are truly superwomen. And here I am complaining about one day.
@DuchessOfCambridge I'm there with the freezing cold all the time. Seems to be my only symptom (other than exhaustion but I'm not sure if that's a symptom or because I have 4 kids) these days which makes me so so happy
I'm freezing all the time. It's 80 out so my DH could kill me! Fighting extreme exhaustion, probably in part to barely keeping down any real food the last 2 weeks.
Holy cow. My nausea had worsened, especially at night and is preventing sleep. So my OB prescribed diceglis. After the manufacturer coupon, it would cost me $316 for one month!
Gotta love high deductible health insurance plans...
I was craving a PB&J today, my favorite, I ate two of them for lunch and was happy as can be. Then My body hit the eject button and I may never eat peanut butter again and I'm sad. Morning sickness should come in the morning only! I think this is false advertising!
@DuchessOfCambridge seriously, throw up. Or at least sit over the toilet and cough a bit until you dry heave it was the only thing that would give me any comfort when I was super sick
@dragonfly87 I know! I unfortunately wasn't able to take it because of the cost, I can't believe how expensive it is. Luckily my nausea was terrible for two weeks but now seems to have chilled out to once or twice a day.
The exhaustion has really only kicked in this week. It's not even 11 on a Friday night and I'm ready to pass out. I also haven't put our laundry away...that we did on Sunday...
@dragonfly87 have you considered the OTC version instead, B6 and unisom? It is under $10 that way, just take two pills instead of the Rx combo that makes it one pill.
Shortness of breath has started now and e trend fatigue here! Like, I fall asleep reading to DS at nap time. Also a little baby brain fogginess/ spacey feeling has started. I'm hoping it won't be too bad since it's starting much later than prior pregnancies.
I'm definitely on the shortness of breath train. My nausea is a little worse this week too. I've also been having a lot of discomfort in my hips that doesn't seem to go away no matter what position I'm sitting, standing, or laying in.
Okay this has been going on for a few days now I'm wondering if anyone else has experienced it....
i go go to the bathroom in the middle of the night and my urine is clear no issues but if I go to the bathroom even 3 hours later when I wake up it's so cloudy like no teansparensy at all...
i have no other symptoms with it like burning itching cramps it's just cloudy...
i have an appointment Wednesday I'll talk to my OB about it too.
Also once I wake up and drink so water it goes away...
@SRB130 I've noticed that my morning urine is always way more concentrated, and can give a cloudy appearance I'm assuming because I'm not drinking water during the night. Maybe that's it?
@cmessamore morning sickness is so misleading! I'm the most nauseated in the evenings this time around, although I'm mildly nauseated all day! Sorry it may have ruined peanut butter for you!
@DuchessOfCambridge 11p is early for you to be tired?? I'm always passing out on the couch around 9p over here! *old lady emoji*
There are some days I can't function and mess up words I'm trying to say. I also blew on my salad twice like it was hot when we were out with family. I felt dumb and couldn't blame it on pregnancy brain since they don't know yet.
It's funny how it's the little things in life that mean the most...not where you live, or what you drive, or the price tag on your clothes... There's no dollar sign on a piece of mind, this I've come to know! *ZBB*
I was out with friends last night and suddenly got a sore throat out of nowhere. It hurts even worse this morning! No fever, thankfully...I hope I don't get one. Ugh, I guess it's a soup and grilled cheese type of day.
I started to fall asleep in my chair at a restaurant last night.
Did manage to make it home and watch two episodes of Big Little Lies, though, before passing out cold.
Cloudy urine (not just dark) with a weird smell was one symptom I experienced with a bladder infection a couple of weeks ago. The cloudiness went away after treatment. Definitely worth getting checked out.
Anyone else feeling like...it's your choice to throw up or not? I don't remember whether I felt this way with DD, but basically there are times I feel really sick to the point where I want to throw up, but I don't ever get that feeling you get with the stomach flu where "I'm about to vomit right this second and I just need to get to the toilet before it happens." Yesterday I went to Walmart and worried about throwing up the whole time I was there, I kept glancing around for trash cans and places I could do it if I had to...but I made it all the way home, brought the groceries inside, calmly put my hair up, and then threw up. That said, @DuchessOfCambridge, it always makes me feel better.
Nov 17 BMB May Siggy Challenge: Mother's Day Fails
@TallMomma29 I seem to be most nauseous in the evening as well. I've also taken to calling morning sickness 'all day sickness'. I guess it doesn't help that I work in a seafood restaurant. Seafood smell never used to bother me, but I'm like a bloodhound now. I almost threw away 10# of squash this morning because someone was portioning calimari on the other side of the kitchen and I could smell it and I thought the squash had gone bad.
This is really random, but over the past week whenever I wake up the ear that I was sleeping on hurts. I've always been a side sleeper, and this used to happen like once in a blue moon, but it's been every night this week so I have to chalk it up to a symptom (as crazy as it might be)! I wonder if I'm not moving/shifting as much while sleeping, or if it has something to do with blood flow... who knows. Has anyone else been having this happen?

Eta and the creamy white CM is back
same here!! I asked my doc about it yesterday bc there is ummm... a lot!
Omg guys, I was gasping for breath 30 mins into my presentation today! I told the students I was sick haha
she said it was 100% completely normal. Has to do with estrogen and blood flow.
