Freaking out. Sorry this is TMI, I just went to the bathroom and when I wiped there was some bright pink blood. Nothing visible in the toilet, no major cramping, can someone tell me if this has happened to the
at around 11dp5dt and not had a bad outcome?
Update: it hasn't continued so that's probably good right?

@JuliaGoolia719 I've had some spotting like that, but it was at about 1 week after my beta. I totally freaked out, but my doc said if it comes and goes it should be OK. Especially with twins that happens quite a bit. It went away that evening and then I just had one little pink spot yesterday (it's been another week or so since the last time). My doc just told me to take it easy. I'm so happy for you!

@JaeJayStark Good luck! FX for you.

I also meant to mention that I'm so happy to have this group! I would have been Googling like crazy every single thing I've felt throughout this process and its so nice to have you ladies to talk to about side effects, anxiety, laughs, tears and everything. I really wish the best for everyone on here.

Pretty sure I'm out. My spotting seems heavier and my tests are negative at 13dpiui. I'm doing ok. If it is my period I'm glad it's here already. I'll go in for a baseline and an HSG.

@clovelyone thank you! I feel better since it didn't keep happening last night or this morning, I just freaked out because I was literally telling DH how excited I was starting to get and then saw blood 5 min later. (That'll teach me to drop the worry for 2 seconds...)
@JaeJayStark hugs to you, if it's not this cycle then FX it will be the next one for you, I'm so sorry

@JuliaGoolia719 I'm with Cloverlyone. I spotted two different times, once with bright red blood and I passed some blood clots. All is well, my RE has released me to resume whatever I'm comfortable doing. How many did you transfer, the doctor told me that with twins you are more likely to spot more significantly. Maybe two for you also?

Also totally understand the getting excited then crashing down thing. Told my DH that I felt like I was being punished for my excitement. No logic there but was what I was feeling. I was a wreck until the ultrasound, amazing how hearing heartbeats reassures one.
  • Options
@stella_700 we only transferred one, and my HCG isn't crazy high so I don't think it's twins....but it hasn't kept going so I feel slightly better. I'll mention it when I go in for my 3rd beta tomorrow though. I felt exactly like I was getting punished for being excited! When I go in tomorrow I'll schedule my 6 and 8 week ultrasound, I think if I see a heartbeat I'll calm down (but then again who knows)

I went on a very rare date night with the hubs last night. We went and saw Garth Brooks. TW with twins at home we rarely get to have a date night. Anyway I had to do my shots in the parking lot about 2 hrs early and my hip was killing me the whole time I didn't get to really heat the area afterwards or anything just shoot and go. I could have gotten into the concert with the shots in my bra but didn't think that I could. I also spent the night with my pants undone cause my pouch was not ok with my jeans. I'm hoping that's a good sign TW i got big fast with my twins.
No more feeling nauseous though just the 2 days last week but my boobs are still killing me here and there. I just need Thursday to finally get here for my BETA.

@JuliaGoolia719 That's really lucky the past 2 times I've had to call cause I can't take the wait. My DH works 2nd shift and he can't take his cell into work and it's good to call him at work so I like need to know before 2pm so I start dying about noon.
Some of you'll have phobia's of the needles I have a phobia of POAS. I don't know why I just can't do it. I panic and start crying. I'd rather torture myself driving 40 min to draw blood and sit all day at work staring at my phone.
TW even when I was prego with the twins I never POAS I really should have to get the cute pic holding a stick then your tummy then the babies but no I couldn't do it lol.

I feel like I should be on more estrogen like ya'll. After transfer I was moved down to 2 patches ever 2 days I don't take pills and patched together... Hmmm

thucks  we all deal with this differently and I think I'd trade the needle phobia for the POAS phobia lol! when you get your BFP (hopefully this time around) you should just get the stick (not peed on) and hold it to your stomach for the picture, its far enough away that no one will be able to tell!

Hoping for peace for all in the TWW.

**TW**I've found that the TWW takes on a whole new terrible meaning after you've tested pregnant when your spotting and your next ultrasound isn't till the 11th. I think, "Oh, I'm mentally tough, I can do this." Then the hormones take over and I'm a lunatic. My husband gives me this look lately that says I'm being crazy. I recognize it myself, but ain't a damn thing I can do about it. Does twins make it more likely to spot? My RE isn't concerned, but my state of mind is a wreck.

@cloverlyone I'm glad that you got to see heartbeats, it sure is reassuring.

@thucks Come on good news on Thursday!

@kristimh80 When is your test date? Hoping for good news.
  • Options
@thucks I like @JuliaGoolia719's response. After your BFP blood test you could then POAS and take an up close pic.

@stella_700 my doc said that spotting is very common with twins. If you are bleeding fully and it's dark red, he said to call them.  It's OK to spaz out. I totally lost it and was even rude to the pharmacist the day I first spotted and then started crying because I knew I was being rude and that was so unlike me. After the spotting stopped that evening I calmed down, but every time I see it, I freak out a little because I want to magically know that it will only be a little bit and go away soon. My doc just told me to take it easy and don't do any heavy lifting. Is it true spotting for you or do you think you are bleeding? FX for you!
  • Options
Right now its tiny brown spotting, Monday morning at odark thirty it was red bleeding, enough to fill a panty liner. I called the clinic yesterday, she said that this wasn't unusual for twins after IVF. The magically knowing part, if you find a way let me know. It'll save both me and DH from my craziness. So random, I went all weekend with nothing then bam wake up to that when I got up to pee.
  • Options
@stella_700 FX for you...it sounds like from others, everything is going to be ok :) I go in to test on Friday, I'm nervous...last time I already knew I was out for the month and this time I actually have more signs but trying not to look too much into things..if possible!

@Irisheyes81 That's funny I'm glad someone else has the same phobia. I am 9dp5dt today beta is tomorrow I almost got up and POAS this morning cause I've been in an emotional wreck but I just can't do it. I was majorly dreaming about it last night & most of the dreams were a BFP but I still couldn't bring myself to do it.
End of last week I was getting queezy after I took my prenatal and didn't eat. Usually I do just fine without eating. TW when I was prego with the twins I HAD to eat when I took my vitamin or I'd be sick it was the only morning sickness I had. Well I've been contentious of it this week and have ate. I purposely didn't eat this morning to see what happens and I got queezy, ate and still kinda blah. I'm really hoping this is a good sign for tomorrow. Only 22hrs 8min left till blood draw, not that I'm counting down or anything lol.

@Funnygirl34 lol I totally know what you feel like. Days just can't pass any faster. Last time, I tested around 5 dpo just to see what a positive test would look like (due to trigger shot). It was such a beautiful test I wished it was true  :D

@Ilky Oh the things we do! I've also tested lately with an opk and get a faint line...trigger should be gone now, so it's my only saving grace for not being bummed out by the bfn.

@kristimh80 I so hope you'll get your BFP soon. A faint line is still a line :) When are you going to test again?
