BF and c sections

Anyone else breast feeding and recoving from c section?
I'm pretty much healed but have no idea whats in stall for me as I'm on 6m pp, and on top of that I'm still breast feeding - don't even know if that will contribute to how I Wil feel throughout this pregnancy!

    I'm still nursing my 21 month old and I've had three csections.  In other pregnancies I've felt some tenderness or pulling around my scar, but nothing serious. I have no idea how this one will go or how much longer I will nurse, he will probably get cut off soon. If I had a younger one I might try to go longer.

    From what anecdotal information I am recalling, Pregnancy can quickly and permanently(until next birth) dry you up.  I will be interested to learn if that is true for you.

    I don't know about c-sections.  But I nursed my first child throughout my pregnancy with my second and tandem nursed afterwards.

    I had L as a csection, and I nursed/pumped until they switched my prep and my pump schedule changed and I couldn't keep up. 

    C sections shouldn't impact your ability to nurse at all.

    This is the longest I have nurses any of my kiddos, ideally I want to wean ASAP and have a little break before starting again. My older ones were younger and weaned soon after I was pregnant again.

    Oh ok! This is helpful! I'm a bit worried about what pregnancy will be like so soon after a c section.
    But bf, I'm going to go as long as I can and possibly ween her at like 11m

    @mrsnadiamitchell in currently breastfeeding my 8 month old and without the return of a period I'm unsure of how far along I am. So far DD2 is nursing just fine. According my LC some woman are able to nurse continuously though pregnancy with little to no problems. Just make sure your getting an adequate amount of protein and veggies to help make up for your new addion. Some mentioned that their current nursing child will self ween around 5-6 months. I'm going to continue as long as I possibly can. Best of luck!

    Preterm labor 31 weeks. Monitored for Hellp and diagnosed with oligohydramnios July '12

    BFP #2: 06/25 - EDD 03/05/15 MMC confirmed 8/1 - D&E 8/4 retained tissue discovered 8/20

    BFP #3 11/24 - 12/15 Heartbeat detected - DD2 07/29/15
