@datalover13 too bad she didn't give him something to knock him out for 3 days while he gets over it lol... I'm going to invent a man flu pill that's really just a horse tranquilizer... wives will be clearing the shelves
@Gators&BoSox & @Cbeanz. Hahah. Guess that's true, huh!? Could be posting a true labor update any day now! Eee! ...but in all reality, you watch, I'm probably gonna be lapped by a few of you ; )
Congratulations @direwolfmini! How exciting that your boys might be able to go home with you! I'm so glad they are doing so well. They are absolutely precious, enjoy them
Congratulations @direwolfmini they are perfect!! What a huge huge blessing that they are both doing so well and can be coming home so soon!! Yay!! Hope you recover really fast and we'll too. Hugs!
@direwolfmini congratulations on your boys! They are adorable and so glad to hear they are doing so well! I hope you got a little sleep and are holding them again this morning!!
Congratulations @direwolfmini !!!!! love the Star Wars names though unintentional, your boys will grow to be great Jedi one day! Looking forward to hearing updates!
Congratulations @direwolfmini I'm so happy to hear your boys are doing so well, they're adorable!!! Hope you're all recovering well & able to go home together!!❤️
@direwolfmini they are so adorable! I love how Ben is smaller than his brother, that seems precious for some reason. I'm so glad they're doing well!! Congratulations!
We're doing well. Both guys needed some time under the bili lights. Ben is still there right now. Basically, we're just waiting on him. Lucas and I have been cleared to be released anytime, but my doctor is going allow me stay one more night so that we can all go home together.
Since they are preemies and had issues with jaundice, I have been supplementing formula... by supplementing I mean they're pretty much only getting formula and are getting a tiny bit of breastmilk (day 3, milk is just starting to come in). Right now they're taking a total of around 90ml per feeding, and I can pump 5 ml per pumping session... trying not to get discouraged.
If anyone has questions about scheduled c sections, bed rest, etc let me know and I'll see if I can help answer any questions you have!
@direwolfmini absolutely don't get discouraged!! Im sure your will come in strong soon-just let them nurse as much as possible. so so glad that your doc is letting you stay the extra day to be with your boys and so you can all go home together!! Yay!!
@direwolfmini its great that you can stay the extra day... i'm sure your milk will come in full force soon and you can kick the formula sooner than later. hang in there! you're doing a great job
@direwolfmini Nurse those boys like crazy before formula feeds, then if you can pump afterwards. I real8:-! This means with twins you will feel like you are nursing or pumping all the time, lol. Don't be discouraged! That formula is helping your guys gain weight and come home sooner than you probably feared!!
