@nktrodden826 I've never thought to try watermelon! I thought I was, erm, "back on track" but it seems that constipation just wants to be evil and show up whenever. I love watermelon - I'll be on the lookout next time I'm at the store! Thanks for the heads up!

@jlh23love This would be a great place to ask about headaches - lots of ladies here are going through the same thing!!

I just want to WANT to eat again. All food sounds disgusting to me.

Need to sleep more - but I'm not tired until late, so now I'm more tired in the afternoon (esp. sucks at work!). Also, sometimes I can't sleep more because the pain in my hips keeps me from being able to get comfortable again. My body is already training me for less sleep I guess....

Other than the excessive mucus and associated headaches, I'm feeling pretty good overall. Bump is working it's way out and def. feeling the dull stretching aches on a pretty regular basis.

I've gotten so used to feeling like crap that I don't even realize when it's for a different reason than just hormones. Somehow my heat got set to 74 instead of the normal 70, and I was warm so I went and turned it down. But then I laid on my husband for like an hour just feeling crappier and crappier and wondering why until it finally clicked in my head that I wasn't just regularly nauseous from pregnancy, I was actually just too warm. Opened the window and I'm fine now. Gah. I knew it felt different, but I just blame everything on being pregnant now. I'm starting to wonder how many times I did that over the last few days that my heat has apparently been way too high.

I'm with y'all on the sneezing. So uncomfortable.

I think I've been having sciatic problems. It's like they alternate days to torture me. My hips are also sore, so that's fun. As is the random anger and crying.
I have sciatica down into my butt. It's awful. Every step is painful, sitting is painful, etc. Find a good chiropractor or acupuncturist or yoga class. You do not want this to get worse!! (Sorry to be bossy, I just know how bad it can get...)
Prenatal massage can help with this alot too.

So yesterday I ended up at the emergency room per my Dr recommending I go to check for Blood Clots in my leg due to some isolated and strange pain I was having. Thankfully, there are no blood clots after receiving an ultra sound on my leg.  For that, I am relieved.

Here is my question, have any of you (currently or previous pregnancy) had intense leg pain on 1 leg below the knee that was so uncomfortable? What did the Dr tell you they thought was the cause? They ruled out low potassium, dehydration, etc with blood work and they said they don't think it sounds like leg cramps either. The Dr said, "Unfortunately, I don't know what is causing this pain for you". I had continuous, awful pain from 6pm until I woke up today after 2pm (was at er all night with no sleep!) The pain is better today, but I just don't know the cause! I never had this with previous pregnancies so I am at a loss. TIA for your support :) I am so grateful for the community!

I'm only 12 w 4 days and I'm barely showing (I've only gained a pound and a half),  and I don't know if it's gas or something Im eating (which is mostly fruits, veggies, and pita) that makes me feel bloated, but I feel HUGE and disgusting all the time. Night time is the worst. I can never get comfortable and god forbid I wake up, it takes me hours to fall back asleep. If I'm this uncomfortable now and I'm only like 5 minutes pregnant, I can't imagine what the third trimester will feel like. Any suggestions?

I think bloating is par for the course in the first trimester. The only thing I can think of is to suggest avoiding the foods that make everyone gassy (i.e. Broccoli) but I'd also say (albeit uncomfortable) walking a lot will help you get the gas out thus being less bloated.

Pregnancy pillows help a lot of people. Also, routines helped me. I take a bath and lather up in lavender lotion then lay down. I don't turn the tv on in our bedroom at night when I'm pregnant because it will keep me up for hours! I know a lot of people use unisom but I haven't tried that. Good luck and unfortunately get used to this...is it July yet? ;)

Last night I woke up about 1230am, and my left arm was tingly and numb. I wasn't even laying on that side that I know of! So I got up to use the bathroom and my right arm started going numb too! It was impossible to sleep so I got up and walked around some. It took about 30 min to get enough feeling to be comfortable enough to lay down. So weird!

@GlitterFish Would compression sleeves help?  I used to wear compression sleeves on my calves when I used to train for races because my legs were so sore and achy at night.  Maybe ask your doctor about wearing arm compression sleeves at night?

@ams512 I'm not sure. I've never had issues. It was pretty painful, and I didn't really want to move my leg. It was just so strange. We're just keeping an eye on it all and I am hoping it never comes back!

I'm constantly bloated and recently my back has been hurting if I'm on my feet for too long, or especially if I'm carrying my purse for a long period of time. Also, at the risk of sounding too hopeful, I think I felt my first movement last night at 15w4d. I've been peeing a lot but I had just gone to the bathroom, and I was standing still and felt a sudden sensation like someone had "flicked" my bladder. It was like a split second of needing to urinate. I know it's super early for movement and I don't even know (anatomy-wise) if baby could have even reached my bladder. Does this sound legit...?

@kat0607 If you are standing in one place a lot, an anti-fatigue mat may help with the back pain.  It's what I use at my standing desk.  Without it, I can't stand for more than a few minutes.  With the mat, I can stand for hours.  I keep meaning to get another one for the kitchen, but I haven't had time to go to Costco to pick it up.

I feel you on the bloating.  It's my new normal.  I have given up on it getting better anytime soon.

I second the anti fatigue mats. I have them in every bathroom and our kitchen because they make a huge difference even if you're only standing there for 5 mins doing dishes. Highly recommend!! I'm sure you can order off Amazon (I order EVERYTHING off Amazon) but we did get ours from Costco!
