• @holly142 I was seriously just thinking about this!! Glad to hear we might be able to give that a shot!!
• Thanks ladies!!! I told DH about the stroller and we are excited to try it out this weekend!! TiffRox81 I think mine does have the harness to hold her in better as well. I meant to test it out last night but didn't get a chance to! All the pictures of the babies in their strollers were adorable! I am going to check out the umbrella stroller now! :)

Looks like it is no longer available from that seller on amazon. I found it at Target for 89.99. Still not as good as $27.00!!!! Jealous!!!

• So I've mentioned before that my husband is deployed...he wants me to come visit (he is in a place 100% out of danger and honestly quite the unique/amazing travel destination). I am a travel junkie (former flight attendant). I really really want to go and likely will never have the opportunity to go again, especially this affordably. My only struggle is leaving LO behind (not realistic to take her on a 20 some hour flight...and to the middle east). Am I crazy for not wanting to leave her or crazy for passing on this opportunity?
• @TiffRox81 good for you for taking her on the trip! That is amazing! I would be able to leave her with my mom and i know she would be totally 100% fine...the guilt would be all my own. I would say probably a week to 10 days of being gone. Nothing too crazy. My husband has 24 on 24 off shifts so I would only be with him every other day and I would go on the trip with some other wives and share a room so taking her would not work well at all, or really be possible.
• How do you do with leaving your baby now? Maybe you could do a practice overnight to see how it goes and how you feel about it?
• I do ok leaving her while I'm at work and to go to dinner or things like that. I think its less of me worrying about her but more about feeling guilty. A practice run may not be a bad idea
• @kmurdock925 I hear you. That would be me if I were in the same boat too. If a once in a lifetime opportunity came up, I know my mom would take her and she'd be well cared for. But for sure I would be battling the choice internally. Well I imagine as they age opportunities like this become less and less of a reality. I think the older they get, the harder being away from us will be. And taking them has more challenges!
• @TiffRox81 true story! And going to the other side of the world as opposed to the next state is a little different too.
• Maybe buy your Mom a ticket to go with you!!!! To babysit I mean, lol.

Has anyone noticed a difference in bowel movements since you've started solids? Poor L's pooh isn't as soft and runny anymore. It doesn't seem to bother her. We aren't doing a lot of solids and even what we do feed her, we mix it with BM!
• At just shy of 6 months postpartum, I'm feeling up for working out. I just discovered this type of circuit training (and a gym near me that offers it) and I'm excited to try it. I've never enjoyed working out, so the fact that it intrigues me is huge. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=dP4wD3KBnOw

@LDSJM123. i know a few ppl who have done this and loveeee it! hope you enjoy it :)

@shaylalr i agree with the working out! i was doing pretty good for a couple of months while i was on leave but after going back to work i havent at all. i really need to get back into it!
• I worked out for like 2 weeks after my 6 week PP visit and haven't done anything since. Ugh. I have some short HIIT videos that target moms bookmarked on my computer but haven't done them yet. It's so hard to find first of all the motivation to work out, then the time when E isn't sleeping on me or wanting to be picked up. I only have so much time in my day that *might* work, and even then it's a toss up. Good for you ladies who are doing stuff!
• @LDSJM123 how exciting! C said mama to me during his morning babble session on new year's day; it was just a fluke and hasn't happened since but I pretty much turned to mush. It was clear as day! I can't wait for him to start saying it on the regular.

Has anyone else been dealing with back pain since having our LOs? My back aches all day everyday since having C. It's in the arch and makes me feel like an 80 year old woman...it's always worst when I'm bending over to put C down/pick him up. Not sure if a massage would help or if I should see a chiropractor or what. I've never done either before...
• @jjtruffles YES. The back pain!!! I am scheduling a massage for next week. I don't get them often but they are really wonderful. However, they are definitely a temporary fix for me. I would recommend it though! I have never seen a chiropractor so I am not sure. I usually carry a lot of tightness in my shoulders and neck so I need to stretch daily or it gets bad.
• @arhodes6 I'm great besides the exhaustion. I have my first prenatal visit plus sonogram. Iml'm getting excited.

Baby J kept waking up crying all night long. We decided to take her to urgent clinic because something just felt off. She has been battling a cold, but this cough started about 3 days ago. Doc said its bronchilitis and just to let it run its course. We bought a humidifier to help with her congestion a bit. Has any one had to use one before? Do I run it all day or just when she's in that room? Sorry if it's a dumb question.
• @jjtruffles I have the same pain, mostly when I'm bending over and I went to my chiro and she said it's because my core is week. I started working out and focusing on strengthening my core and it's getting much better!! My chiro said it's most likely the transverse abdominis so I looked up exercises to strengthen that.
• @babycakesday We bought one when William caught his first cold. The first day we set it up in our living room and put it on full blast because that's where we spend most of our time. After that we left it where he sleeps and turned it on maybe 15 mins before bed.
• @mnkenned That's an intuitive husband! Hope you enjoyed the relaxing. Sounds like it was well earned!

I know a lot of you are way more on top of it than me, but I just did my first real workout since giving birth. Holy moly. It was so horrible. I am so out of shape.

I haven't worked out however on New Years eve we were at a friends house for a party, I decided to get out there and line dance...and I about died afterwards... 1 line dance and I was out of breath and my heart was racing...that has never happened to me before LOL. So.out.of.shape!

• I hear you all on the working out. I'm still 10pbs up from my probaby weight and I've only worked out a few times. It's hard because I also work full time I have to get up at 5:30am if there's a hope I get to work out and usually my knees hurt so bad it's hard to do the squats that I used to love...trying though
• @DachshundMomma Same here. I always had contacts on and did my make up before leaving the house and now I'm lucky if I changed my shirt. Plus when she's napping, I rather just relax and take a breather. I feel like it will eventually get better. I know my friend went through this phase when her baby was born. He's almost a year old and she's starting to get back to her old ready self.
