@lnds32 I love these name signs and definitely will look into ordering one for each kid. I geeked out a little when noticing she lives pretty close to me. Excellent find! Thanks for sharing!
@lnds32: Those name signs are awesome! I checked out her store, she seems swamped with work, so good luck if you try to place an order. Post here if you do, I'd love to see it!
@SKZW I saw she is flooded! On her page she has some ordering tips that really help. She only takes orders on the first day of the month at 8:00 AM PST. She recommends you have all your billing/shipping info in ETSY ahead of time do you can speed up the process! Also know your color, font and letter count so you can fill out the order form fast! I am planning to order one on June 1st for my older son's room. I don't need it until September so I guess I will have a few months to get it ordered if June is a bust!
Also, for anyone looking for awesome name wall decor I found an Etsy shop I plan on ordering a name plate from for DS1 new room! This is an example of her work on Instagram!
I'm just now catching up with this thread. Thanks for sharing, her work is beautiful! Now I must have one!
A friend of mine saw and sent me an IG post with those signs that had the exact name we picked. Not my style so I didn't order one but it was pretty crazy to see just a couple weeks after we chose the name!
Love the name signs and all the progress everyome has made! We just finished painting the walls last night so I just moved the crib into its place. We still have quite a bit more to do, but I'm so excited that were finally on our way to being done and I'm just loving how the color turned out.
We actually didn't plan on painting the nursery but when we painted our room (one shade lighter called upward), we still had one unopened can left. So we decided to make that can a little darker and do his room after all. I'm so glad we did!
No baby room for us until we move (around 6 weeks pp) so for now her furniture is in our room. I laid out her rug and put the changing pad cover and sheet on just for fun and to take pictures. I'll pack it away until closer to D Day so the bedding stays fresh.
I also have a set a set of framed prints, space themed 0-9 and the alphabet but I wont hang them until we get to the new house. The star garland is kind of a placeholder.
I want a dofferent blanket for the chair but cant quite pull the trigger on the matching $120 quilt from Land of Nod.
@pshaortao - I would love that color in a little boy OR girl nursery. I think it could definitely be taken in many directions.
@WombThereItIs - Your bright colors are SO FUN! You'll have so many to talk about with your LO. Maybe you could find a solid color blanket for the chair to match and save some money.
Everyone's nurseries look amazing! A little jealous we are not doing one this time around, but nice job ladies!!
@lnds32 I am late to the convo but I love the Trendy Timber! I ordered her monthly cutouts for this babe and have ordered her signs as wedding gifts several times. She lives super close to me too @chailife34!
@pshaortao I'm joining the color-loving club!! It's awesome! @WombThereItIs Love your baby nook! I adore all the bright colors! I need some color in our nursery but can't seem to find any wall hangings I like for a price I'm willing to pay...
@ShadeofGreen816 have you looked at printables? For both this kid and my oldest I found cute graphics I liked on Etsy and ordered the PDF. Then I get them printed at FedEx on cardstock and do some cheapo IKEA frames.

I really haven't looked into that. I should. I'm partially struggling because I don't have a "theme" although I do seem to be gravitating towards elephant prints and patterns. Our colors are navy, gray, and pink/coral so I think it's natural
For anyone looking for animal themed prints, this deal is about to expire! I don't really have a place for any of these, but I am thinking about ordering some anyway. Who can pass up a hedgehog and a sloth print?!

Our nursery is finally finished (I think!). We went neutral, even though we know we're having a girl. Loosely animal themed.
The dog bed and orchids get to stay, for now. The room is a little awkward to set up...there's so much inside space but not a lot of non-window wall space. Everything basically just fits. The side of the room not pictured is were the closets are.
A few details below. The star light in the book corner looks better at night, obviously, but you get the idea. The basket storage next to the dresser holds supplies, primarily for the changing area (diapers, wipes, lotion, etc). Bookshelf is a lot more stocked since the baby showers! Plus, the Harry Potter series for later on.
Sorry everyone for disappearing from this thread for awhile! With our patio & roof repairs, then our living room ceiling caving in and having to move out/move back in after our crazy storms in CA I think I subconsciously couldn't look at house projects for awhile! Lol. I just spent the morning looking through the like 6 pages of awesome pics and descriptions!
Everyone, super high-fives for doing so much work while simultaneously making a person! I mean are pregnant women amazing or what? It's also so much fun seeing all the unique inspirations and manifestations of peoples' ideas
I don't have a side table next to my glider. That seems to be something I'll have to add, though apartment living can make it REAL TOUGH to fit things in, so that'll be fun!
@starphish18 I would kill for big, beautiful wood-framed windows like that!!!! I mean they are just gorgeous. Your nursery is like a posh treehouse!
Thanks, all! @sweaterboots Your comment made me laugh...I love the idea of it being like a treehouse. I actually really want to build an ewok-style tree fort out in those pines, with rope bridges and such. Not sure it'll ever happen, but I can dream.
@starphish18 I'm so jealous of wherever you live. I always notice in your bump photos you have the pretty windows and so green outside. The nursery looks amazing!
@pshaortao, your paint color is very similar to what we used for DS. I still love it almost 3 years later
@starphish18, your nursery looks great. I love the natural light and neutral, earthy colors.
We made progress in cleaning out the nursery, but it still has a long way to go. This weekend is our last unobligated weekend before my EDD so we have to make it count.
Finally got the rest of the furniture into baby girl's room this week! Still have a few finishing touches but I'm so in love with how it turned out ❤ DH and I love the outdoors so we had to incorporate that into her room!
Got the curtains and mirror hung. You can't see, but the curtains have a cute mustard yellow pompom trim. Waiting on the mobile to come in still We picked up these letter back home in Alaska last summer (before we were pg) and I LOVE how they look up there!
@nda_roxybabe I absolutely love your nursery! It turned out perfect. The blanket holder is beautiful and if the bear in the crib is from Target DS has the same one in his new room
