@h&pmomma Maybe you can answer this question. If you're trading in a used car seat to get the discount on a new one, does the seat have to be under warranty still? I think I saw someone mention something about that.

Nope! It can be expired or whatever you want to trade in! Same goes with any of the gear, you can have a broke swing/pack n play, etc. Or maybe you simply just don't like your old one.
I think when they originally started the Trade-in event their goal was to get expired car seats out of people's cars and for people to stop selling their car seats second hand. Babies R Us disposes of all the car seats that are traded in!

Im trading in my *almost* expired infant seat as it is set to expire in May.

Are there any brands excluded from the new gear you can purchase with the coupon? Typically you can't use coupons on baby jogger so I wonder about this.

@lrwardrop Thanks! I just ordered the Graco Snugride 30LX for 40% off which is a way better deal than I would have got for a trade-in of my old seat! This seat was only $79, that's a steal!

I just got the Snugride 30LX from Amazon too! We had the Snugride 35 last time and loved it. It fell off a high shelf in the garage twice while in storage. I called Graco and they confirmed it needed to be replaced. Sigh. But that is a great deal!

@NotAPlaya-JustCrushAlot I figured I transition my kids to the convertible seats way before 35lbs anyways so the difference between the two wasn't going to matter to me. I mean, my 5 year old weighs 38lbs...
I was super excited to see this seat only weighs 7lbs! My babytrend was sooo heavy.

@NotAPlaya-JustCrushAlot - That's so frustrating about yours falling! But you're on the ball to think to replace it. When we had installed DS's 'big boy' seat but he was still riding in his infant one, I told MH that it would SUCK to be in a wreck because we would have to replace both!

Pottery Barn Kids is doing 30% off $300 or more in bedding, rugs etc. They usually only do 20% off or so which makes this pretty good if you want to do a bulk bedding and nursery purchase.

@emilyalso I get A&A blankets for $20 all the time at TJ MAXX, Homegoods, Ross, Marshall's, and even Tuesday morning (one of my baby shower go to gift). My best find was A&A Bamboo at Homegoods!

Nordstrom Rack also gets them pretty frequently and gets different prints than the others.

Another Hemnes junky here!!! In our bedroom we have: King size bed, 3 drawer chest, 8 drawer dresser, 2 drawer tv stand and two nightstands with the 1 big door. In the living room we have: rectangle coffee table, shorter square end table and taller end table with 1 drawer.

We have an open, spindly changing table in the nursery, but I want to upgrade to a 3-drawer chest for more storage!

Also I just wanted to throw out there to check Facebook Marketplace for baby items! I scored a barley used Halo Swivel Bassinest for $100. There was an Ergo Infant Insert for sale for $5 the other day. I've had really great experiences buying and selling through the Facebook Marketplace. Just make sure you meet people in public places!
