I think we bought a house!! I signed, DH signed, the realtor signed, the seller signed, all on an agreed price.... does that mean we bought a house?!? ;-) Things are moving quickly - we put an offer in on a house Friday, signed the papers Sunday, gave checks to the realtor yesterday for the seller and lender, DH met with movers yesterday to get an estimate on packing/moving, meeting with a realtor re:selling our house today... fun stuff!
@jennbaylor12 That's my random too! We've been working towards a closing for months now and we're finally settled for this Friday, and we're going to do most of our moving over the weekend. I'm still freaking out that something will get in the way but it looks like it's a done deal...ahhhhh. Poor DH has to do so much of the packing and moving work since I just got to the point where I'm really done lifting anything.
Yay for all of those with new houses in the future! I am jealous I am hoping we'll be doing the same in the next year, but who knows. DH thinks we can't afford anything, but if our current home sells for what most twinhomes are going for now, we'll make a good chunk of change off it. That is a reason why we have stayed, to get that mortgage paid; DH has lived in it for 11 years now.
First we need a deck (it was never done), and I hoped that was going to get done this summer. Nope. So, nothing like constructing a deck with an infant in the house right outside their bedroom window this spring/summer.
I will live vicariously through your moves!

December'16 December Siggy Challenge: Elf on the Shelf Fails **winner**
I am *really* hoping that Apple announces the new Mac Book Pros at this event later this week. I have been waiting for the announcement for like 6 months, and my computer just keeps getting slower and slower and slower.
We are having issues with our 1991 house (eye roll). Mice invaded our air ducts under our house, we had the air ducts removed and are getting quotes to get them replaced. While we were down there, we realized that there is water by the foundation, and the ventilation in the crawl space is totally inadequate. So now we are looking at a 15-20 grand job. I'm PRAYING that our home owners insurance covers it, which is saying something because I'm just not that religious. Our house looks great from the outside, and we have put tons of work into it ourselves. You'd never know that it's all f***ed up!!!
My staff at work all went in together and bought me some awesome baby gifts!! This is baby #3 so I wasn't expecting to get anything for Parker except from my family. But my co workers went all out... a white noise machine, swaddle blankets, an outfit, a few toys, paci clips, bibs, and burp cloths! Seriously I was blown away. So generous and even my boss who doesn't like me contributed. I am so thankful!!!
More of an FFFC or something.. but, the Facebook group for December 2016 bumps annoys me. Questions keep getting asked and subjects brought up that have entire boards designated to discussing on here. It feels like an entirely different forum and group of people.
@temmetime I feel the same way. Difficult to focus on both places for sure! And I love organization...so sometimes it drives me nuts!
I agree too. I'll post stuff that may be just random and wouldn't necessarily fit into a post that has already been made. But that is about it... or what I can recall anyway. I still check it out, but don't post as much as I do on here.

My best friend just got (several) positive home pregnancy tests!!! She was diagnosed with a brain tumor five years ago, and has been through three brain surgeries, two rounds of chemo, and a round of radiation therapy all while finishing her teaching credential, getting married, and working full time. They finally got the ok from all her doctors last month to try to get pregnant after she has had stable brain scans for six months, so this is especially exciting!
I've been in WA, ID, MT, back to ID and soon to be in UT all today. So tired of driving. I'm about to lose it... and cry right along side my toddler!
And after my post about baby positions last night I'm nearly positive that baby might have flipped to breech during the night! Hard wobbly thing up by my ribs and two things pushing apart my hip bones (presumably bum and feet?) Oh dear!
I'm having a crazy amount of BH contrx lately. Usually after I eat or when walking. I have a huge craving for a peanut butter rice krispy treat with chocolate frosting. I don think even know if that exists but I want one.
@zubenescamali They are super easy to make. We use corn flakes instead of crispies. Butter, corn syrup, peanut butter all melted and mixed together. Pour in corn flakes, mix until well coated. Dump into cake pan, melt chocolate chips then spread over the top. Takes 10-15 to make an 10 min to harden.

second random thought. If you are going to sell your maternity clothes after baby comes, it might be a good idea to take some photos of you wearing them now, especially if you are doing a FB swap and shop or something similar. I hate scrolling through those sites and people post everything folded up and you can't tell what you are buying.
@yellingbanana The house we are buying is definitely f-ed up. It's from 1905 and previous owners added a crazy addition and a bizarre amount of electric wiring, and covered all the attic vents with insulation. And I'm sure we'll find more craziness after moving in...
Congrats to everyone on houses!! @mysteryship our house isn't built in 1905 but that house sounds like ours! We have a crazy addition and the plumbing and wiring are jacked. Waiting til next spring to fix it though cuz...life.
@maamawaabangi Mine is head down, but the hard thing next to my ribs is her butt, and she's frequently pushing on my hip bones with her hands. Her feet are WAY out to my side (like I can feel her standing when I lay on the side). Hopefully yours isn't breech but is just moving funny. I keep worrying that mine will flip overnight. I'm ready for her to be big enough that she's just stuck in place.
I've had indigestion stomach pains for the last couple of hours, and idiot me keeps eating things in the hopes that that will stop the pain. There is no logic to my madness. I'm just feeding the flames of indigestion at this point.
And congrats on all the awesome housing news ladies!
@temmetime I agree on the FB thing, I'm not sure if it's an organization thing or what. I feel like there is more depth on the Bump board because of how it's set up. I am still a part of the FB group, but I don't feel like there is as much connection on there.
@maamawaabangi I feel exhausted just thinking about traveling that much right now. You get a lot of credit for keeping your head! Also, you were in my neck of the woods! I hope WA was beautiful for you! And not rainy...
My dreams are getting intense. Last night in my dream, my mom had read that you can check whether babies have an intolerance to gluten by pinching their ankles and looking to see if it turns red. So she did this and then stole the baby from me as I was feeding it because I was poisoning my baby by eating a burger while feeding (bun is gluten). She tried to take the baby to the nurses to report that I was a negligent mother and my DH had to physically stop her from taking the baby. Then she proceeded to have a hissy fit that we were not taking her seriously and that everything we were doing was endangering the baby. She was removed from the hospital.
Got to love random baby dreams! I wish Dwayne Johnson would just come back into my dreams for some sweet sweet loving. These ones involving the baby are just too much.
@LinziLoo09, Oh yes, very much a dream. I did call her on my drive to work to inform her that her dream self is crazy and that if she tries any of that she will be escorted out. Ha!
@yellingbanana thanks! It was lovely! The trees and colors were amazing and even got to go apple picking! It was a huge undertaking but we got home.
@LinziLoo09 I hope so too. It's amazing what they can do! My midwife should be able to confirm or deny what it suspicioning in a week, but hopefully it will flip back soon if it is heads up.
@mysteryship that sounds like an adventure. I love old houses. I'm sure it feels very daunting right now however!
I have 30 minutes left of peeing in a jug. then I'm gonna walk into the hospital carrying my 2 huge jugs of pee...like a boss. I've been picturing it all day. Honestly I'm not excited about carrying these jugs a quarter mile from the parking lot to the hospital but I'm sure ready to rid my fridge of pee!
@sourlemon pregnancy is SO glamorous, isn't it! I've done the 24 hour urine test twice now and both times have put my 2 big jugs in doubled-up trader joe's bags - easier to carry and less likely to cause lots of strange looks!
@sourlemon my husband had to do that a few years ago... it made me want to barf just knowing pee was hanging out in my fridge. You should really have fun with that when you bring it in! So many options and ways you could go with that one!
@maamawaabangi it was particularly exciting because the hospital was clueless. i was told bring it to L& D. got there and was sent to the front desk. they called the lab. went to the lab. lab called l& d. got sent back there. got signed in. finally handed over my pee jugs. all those things are spread across 3 floors so it was up down and all around. my 2yo was proudly telling everyone "mommy peed in jugs". thanks kiddo.
@sourlemon don't you love it when they do that sort of thing??? Seriously... just take the pee people. That's so funny what your LO was saying! It's must have seemed very monumental to someone whose just learning to pee in the potty!
We get lots of funny looks in target when DD comes running out of the potty towards me screaming as loud as possible that she peed or pooped in the potty! Luckily it was 7pm at the hospital and there weren't all that many people who weren't workers just hanging out haha.
