OOps, I was a bad, bad girl and clogged up the feeds with my intro which has now been moved to the appropriate place. Thanks for your lovely redirection, ladies and I promise to do better next time. For the record, I was just following the "welcome, new members" which says and I quote: "4. Create a new thread with a quick intro about yourself when you are ready to join in the conversation" but whatevs. Oh, and I blame Gilly....

Hi, @MrsCaliRN Nice to meet you. There is an intro thread for each week (right now it's starting 8/8). We have a thread titled TWW each day, and that is the appropriate place to share information like this. Single threads like yours clog up the board and are strongly discouraged. Just FYI. GL with your TWW.

I do agree that the instruction in the "Welcome New Members" thread telling newbies to start a new intro thread is confusing.
@MrsCaliRN read the newbie guide. It will tell you everything you need to know. And also explain why

Wow I hadn't read it in quite sometime and I just went and re-read and you're totally right! It does tell people to start their own thread.  @bumpadmin should remove it or edit it since we have the newbie thread for intros

I'm just throwing this out there but I read the same post the OP read BUT I also continued to lurk before I posted. The decorum of this board was rather obvious. I just don't have any sympathy for the flaming. The drive bys are too much for me this weekend. And that's coming from a newbie. *drops mic*

That's true, good point...I try to give the benefit of the doubt but I'll second that...I also read the welcome post but ALSO the newbie guide and lurked before posting...and also second that it's been "too much" this weekend...also from a newbie...not to mention, a newbie who was super intimidated to post here initially and can't believe the inconsideration and lack of forethought going into some of these drive bys this weekend.

Hey guys, no one was being inconsiderate. I wanted to introduce myself, so I scanned the newbie thread to figure out how to do it, and followed the directions. Apparently this has been an ongoing issue that is causing emotional distress for many of you, so I suggest what PPs have mentioned: to let admin know so they can update the directions.

Now, do a guided meditation exercise, woosah it out and get back to whatever's important to you. 

Looking forward to seeing ALL of you clueless newbies, pathological lurkers, enthusiastic drive-bys and disgruntled OGs alike on the boards!

@MrsCaliRN - I don't know who you think you are, but I would highly suggest you refrain from calling the wonderful women on this board "disgruntled." They are some of the most supportive women I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. They offered me so much love and support when I was desperately trying to learn about my IF diagnosis. They offered sympathetic ears when I needed it and the opportunity to cry when I was overwhelmed. While you might not fully understand or appreciate what goes on in this group, I can guarantee that if you want to be accepted here, calling us "disgruntled" is probably not the best way to do it.

Now, I don't want you to feel like you aren't welcome here. EDITED, because you continue to prove that you really have no desire to be a member of this community. You have shown that you can't handle the privilege of being in this group. You can show yourself out. You are coming into an established community, a community with rules and guidelines. If you don't like those rules or guidelines, there is literally nothing keeping you here. Try to be a little bit more compassionate and understanding. These women are amazing and supportive, but you have to give support to get it.

And a little humility goes a long way, too...

I think by "hole" she means making people not want to talk to you.
