Man I have to go pick up my kid but I have snacks and penny dreadful happening on my couch. It's almost a straight line maybe he could find his way home.

Omg, I'm gone for a few hours and so much has happened! I'm not even going to try to respond to everyone.
Just responding to one topic though.... @PerraSucia@GlitterDragon@Gingersnap What. The. Hell. Are you guys watching??? Those pictures are so gross!! Normally they wouldn't bother me, but during pregnancy, the slightest disgusting thing will make me vomit.
Random: I can't wait for my belly button to pop out! In January, I had my gallbladder laparoscopically(sp?) removed and I KNOW the surgeon totally botched that incision in my belly button. I'm anxiously waiting to see the evidence.
Lol mine didn't pop last time - apparently I have a deep belly button! It got shallower and I could kinda make it pop by pressing around it. I know, I'm gross. But to answer your question @yogadevil mine looked normal the whole time unless I messed with it
@AfKash I had to have laproscopic surgery before my first pregnancy and there was a black speck deep in my belly button. I couldn't figure out if it was a scab or a stitch but it drove me crazy. I used to try to get it with tweezers.
When my belly button stretched out and popped, there it was and I got it with the tweezers. It was a scab.
All this to say I get the excitement, lol.

I haven't really checked out this thread much before, and boy am I missing out! My belly button never popped out, just got more shallow.
I have (or had, since my oldest will start kindergarten in September) two kids in daycare for only three days a week and it costs $2000/month.
In on the upside, after reading about all these insurance costs I am feeling grateful for my teacher coverage. I only pay one $10 copay for my entire pregnancy and delivery. Although I will be voluntarily paying out of pocket for chromosomal blood test.
I slipped and fell halfway down my basement stairs tonight while my husband was at work. Spent 45 minutes crying until my midwife could call me back - these hormones are no joke. Fingers crossed this babe was safe enough in there and I don't have any issues

Hugs. That's some scary stuff. Fx babe's ok. Lotsa deep breaths.
@lfrank12 So sorry to hear you fell- how scary! When I was pregnant with DD2 I fell down an entire flight of stairs, and everything ended up being totally fine. The baby is well cushioned in there and can likely take a bit of a pounding. Did you fall on your belly? When I fell it was a Sunday evening and I didn't want to "bother" my doctor. Luckily my dad is an ER doctor so I called him right away crying and got some medical advice. As long as you're not spotting or cramping it should be fine, but I learned to definitely call my OB with things like that from now on. My OB told me later that he would have had me go to the ER to be hooked up to a monitor just in case. I hope everything is OK with you! You did the right thing by calling your midwife, and more than likely everything is fine. Pregnant women tend to fall down the stairs quite frequently according to my OB.
My kid is sleeping 2 hours before bedtime... I would usually wake her but with her getting over this mystery sickness, I'm letting her sleep. Shiiiiiiiit. We may be screwed tonight
