So this isn't the nursery but we finished DS's new room so that we can get the nursery back to baby set up. I think it turned out cute so I thought I'd share. Currently the nursery is our staging room for other projects but I'm hoping we get it all cleared out this weekend and get the crib put back together (it's currently set up as a toddler bed). Then I can start putting stuff away and adding some pops of color.
I pulled out the bassinet, swing, and bouncer today. I realized that I really need to start getting organized. So I started pulling clothes, bottles, blankets, etc. And started taking inventory. I feel like I worked at it for so long and got nowhere haha.

Baby will be in the master bedroom with us for the first few months, so we set up a corner of the room as a "nursery" for him. We have the crib and rocking chair in one corner, and I still need to get the changing table in the room and place it behind the door. I thought the decorated crib looked so cute, even though none of the soft stuff will stay in there when baby actually gets here. Our colors are gray and blue.
It looks like I have talked DH into letting me put up some wall decor in our room and making a corner a space for baby girl since she won't have a nursery for awhile. We will just start with the rock n play in that corner and decide on a pack and play or a crib when the time comes.
When we get a bigger place, her room will be hues of purples and blue/teals. My 2 favorite colors and I'm thinking either lacy decor or little woodland creatures. I have a super cute idea for a wall mural, but not sure how to execute it, but we have to get her a room first. Right now well put the bassinet and rocking chair back in our room the same way we had it for our son. It worked great for him, so we will have a few months to figure out where we're moving too. We've been looking at buying our first house all year, now it's just time to crack down on it lol we have a 2 bedroom apartment now, and I will have to steal some of my sons dresser drawers for her clothes, or put them in the changing table drawers lol
Love these rooms!! Finally moved into the new house this weekend and you can bet I'm antsy as anything for my husband to get the nursery painted so I can start decorating!!!!
FINALLY got the nursery painted this weekend. Amazing what you can get done when your husband and child aren't home. lol Now time to accessorize! It's a rustic, mountain theme. We love the Blue Ridge, so the colors are blues, aquas and green. The walls are gray, but I can't get it to photo right.
The branch will be where his name hangs. We used it for DS last time, it's actually a branch we brought back from one of our trips to NC off one of our favorite trails.
I finally got around to hanging up some clothes and getting clothes into her dresser. I'm also setting up my "newborn stations" in both living rooms in our house. Diapers, Wipes, Burp cloths, Nipple butter, Extra outfits, and eventually I'll put some granola bars/power bars/water bottles in there. This saved my life after having DD1. I didn't have to go upstairs every time I needed something!

Can I just say how jealous I am of everyone and how cute the nurseries are turning out? Counting down 'til our renovation is finished and we're back in our house and I can nest like crazy!! Hopefully just 2 or so more weeks... patience.
@AshleySparkle720 the newborn station is a great idea, i hadn't though of including granola and water along with the baby stuff! We live in a small 2-bedroom apartment but I'm thinking of setting up baby stations in a couple of different places anyway, that way supplies are always one or two steps away.

I was always SO thirsty and hungry when I was breastfeeding DD1 so it was a necessity! The less you have to go from sitting to standing while you're still healing the better!

Our glider and crib sheets/skirt came in the mail yesterday so we started putting it all together. We still have a wall decal coming for over the crib and I am working on a watercolour / hand lettering painting to go over the dresser. I think I will also get a few wall shelves for over the dresser as well Getting to this point made me soooo excited though! It just keeps getting more and more real!!!
@AshleySparkle720 you are so on top of it! I need to get my butt in gear.
I'm nesting hard right now so I sat in the closet and did all of this in one foul swoop. The rest of the nursery looks like a tornado. I'll be in there all of nap time tomorrow!

Windows open with a fan and mask on. I made sure to take extra precautions because even sharpies hurt my head ha

First time posting in this thread! We are in a 1 br suite for the time-being, so we don't technically have a nursery, it's more of a baby alcove! Got a great deal on a nice shelf today, assembled and stocked it full! We are using a desk as a change table for now, and baby will be in the Halo at the beginning. Here are a few pics! Just have to hang some photos and get a few more surf/ocean themed items to pull it all together.
I am so jealous of everyone who has already got their nursery together. We still can't put anything in yet because of really minor construction we're doing in there, but I finally ordered furniture, woo.
For those of you who used a normal dresser as a changing table, did you just put the changing pad directly on top or did you build/order a box/holder for it to go in? My fiancee really wants to build one himself but I'm not even sure if it's necessary... we ordered the 8-drawer Hemnes dresser from IKEA and I just don't really understand the need for it and have seen a ton of pics without one:

@underthesea that fabric is beyond cute. Can't wait to see the finished product!
We finally finished laying down flooring literally 2 days before move-in day. All we have to do is put the baseboards back on
Not sure why the picture I had to take was with one board still left haha.
So excited to get in there and set things up finally!
the fabric is from the birch organics teagan white line. It's a few years old so I could only find it on Etsy!
