@sportiegrl1213 Oh, I thought you meant your whole arm was going numb! Yeah carpal tunnel is awful. I had it before getting pregnant but it wasn't too bad. Now it's unbearable. I have a wrist brace but I hate it so I rarely wear it. Lol
+1 for carpal tunnel... I think my hands are more numb than they aren't lately. I can't find a way to sleep that they don't go numb...not to mention driving or even blow-drying/straightening my hair.
@kmolleltz - I have had terrible hip pain while lying down all weekend. When I get up I'm afraid I'm going to break one. It takes a few minutes of walking around to start feeling better.
@krzyriver - I had two days of decreased movement last week and it totally freaked me out. She's also changed her patterns of activity, so she wasn't active after dinner like usual which further threw me. I did get to 10 doing kick counts, so I didn't go in. Glad everything is OK!

@LMNOBaby Have you tried buying wrist braces? I personally can't stand them, but my mother can't sleep without them.
@MorganL925 It's so scary, isn't it? I know I'll still worry when he's here, but at least I'll be able to see what's going on. Lol. I dont normally do kick counts unless I'm concerned, like yesterday. Not sure if last night should motivate me to do them, or if I should still avoid them since they do stress me out.... But these babies need to stick to their regular schedule before they give us all heart attacks!
Agreed - I only do kick counts if I feel like I haven't felt her in a while. Nothing I eat/drink triggers her, but I did find out last week that music does. So if I put some music on and put my phone right up against my stomach, she'll usually start moving pretty quickly.
Those with carpal tunnel - I've mentioned it before but I developed it really early on in both wrists. Mine flares in the middle of the night, so sleeping with braces on really helps me. It took a little getting used to, but now, if I forget them, I wake up with burning pain in my hands so they definitely help.

@krzyriver I haven't tried wrist braces, but I keep hearing about them. I just hate to have anything on at night (other than pjs) - i have to remove all socks, jewelry, hair bands, etc. But maybe I'll give them a shot!
And, glad to hear all is good with baby! I had a very lazy baby movement day on Saturday into Sunday morning and was starting to freak out until I drank a ginger ale and little one starting thunking around finally around Noon. I was on the verge of hitting the hospital, too, though!
@MorganL925 Music works for my baby too! When we finally left the hospital last night, we cranked up the music so we could stay awake while driving. Go figure, that's when he FINALLY started moving. I'll be trying that next time he has a lazy day.
@LMNOBaby I'm the same way. I have to be completely naked (TMI? Lol) or I can't sleep. That's why I've never used the braces. But it's getting bad, I might have to suck it up. Snuggling a body pillow only helps so much.
@krzyriver I am a *TMI* fellow nudie sleeper here. Sometimes I picture myself in a dire situation like fire, robber etc. and realize I'd have to break out my window butt ass naked. Not a pretty picture.

This is exactly why I can't sleep naked!
