Currently nursing my second migraine in four days. My BP is fine but I will definitely be mentioning it to the OB on Monday. I've gotten a lot of them throughout pregnancy and last time this lasted about 10 days. Thinking it could be my blood sugar being a little low as last time this coincided with some hypoglycemia episodes and I was diagnosed with the GD. Just hoping the headaches go away!
@reesaXden it does sound like your doctor is confident on baby's growth! It really is nerve-racking but we'll be thinking of you and hoping things go well or that baby waits when you stop the meds.
@mom2adoodle I just love his hair so much! Your little squish is S16's pride and joy so glad he's doing so well!
@JennM205 well she has three night lights but only one stays on at night . I rotate between the three because one is in the wall, one is a Dream sign hanging from her bed and the other is string lights. She picks which one she wants on at night
can I talk about my dream for a second. Last night I dreamt that I was at my doctors appointment and there was a problem with the baby. They said she wasn't breathing or swallowing correctly. So what did they do? Try and feed her yogurt and berries through my vagina. Seriously??? And because she wouldn't eat yogurt and berries, again through my vagina, they gave me an emergency c section.
Plus side to weird dream- it was the first time i dreamt about what she would look like. Lots of dark hair like Cameron!
@seitzy3 Yeah, I figured it was a long shot but worth suggesting...who knows with toddlers what random thing suddenly will work it's magic! I hope you all got a better night's sleep last night and that it starts looking up for you in that regard before baby comes! And wow to your dream, haha. Who knew berries and yogurt were the trick!?
So we keep having different contractions and early labor signs threads, I thought we had a labor thread for that? Was it not pinned or summin? Or are we doing individual threads? Not being a TB police, just asking.
@Shiva14 - DH's cousin had a "fake" wedding - they exchanged rings, vows, and had a ceremony/reception - but never actually formalized their union legally. They said it was because they forgot to apply for a license in Wisconsin (they live in MN, and are from WI) but I think it was actually so that they could both remain on gov't assistance! I felt 100% robbed that I attended their crock of a wedding, gave a gift, showed support, etc, when they didn't actually get married. Three years and one kid later, they still aren't legally married.... Though that may changed since she snagged a better paying job and probably doesn't qualify for it anymore.
@toimadness1 - Hello spoiler alert! If you're going to discuss the new HP play, (or really any show, movie, book, etc in detail) please do it in a seperate thread to spare the rest of us who haven't read/watched it yet!!!
@mom2adoodle - Finley is looking great! Glad to hear he is latching well!!
Whoa, wait what? Blurred vision can be a sign of pre-e? The more you know...
My random: I just signed up to do a 1 mile charity walk for the organization that trained Fred on Sept 17th... the day before my due date! Tell me I'm not crazy...
So we keep having different contractions and early labor signs threads, I thought we had a labor thread for that? Was it not pinned or summin? Or are we doing individual threads? Not being a TB police, just asking.
I just bumped the labor thread and requested to have it pinned so it doesn't get lost. Maybe I should save this for tomorrow's UO, but I would rather have some more individual threads than 100+ new replies to read through in randoms every time I log on. I feel like a lot of stuff gets lost or skipped over and it's hard to keep up!
Can we request that some of our pinned posts get unpinned? We have so many. Personally, I wouldn't mind losing the sex, due date, ultrasound, and introduce yourself threads.

Agree that I'd rather have individual posts regarding labor/birth. It clogs this thread and is easy to miss. If I'm popping on TB for a few minutes, I'm going to hit an "I'm in labor!" or "Headed to the hospital!" thread much more likely than the randoms if I'm 50+ posts behind.
I'll chime in and agree that I would like some more individual threads for labor/births and other important stuff. I always keep up with this thread because well right now I don't have much else to do all day lol but other people could miss things

Agreed. I'm ok with individual labor threads, even from drive-byers. I think people need the support. (I say this based on my own "there's no way I am in labor at 38w" experience. FTR, I was.)
Thanks for the support on my blurred vision freak out, ladies. It's gone away. Spoke to my doctor who told me to come in if it comes back. Otherwise, I'm feeling fine (except for the utter exhaustion).
I second @KimmySchmidt on doing this thread as a weekly! We are 13 pages in at 3 days into the month! What do you guys think? I can start it every Monday.

You can make a poll if you want, but I don't think you'll meet any resistance. At this rate it would just get out of control.
re:pinned posts, I'm in favor of tossing sexs, ultrasound, due date. But I think I'd like to keep introduce yourself. I don't think we're done seeing new people.
Regarding weekly or monthly randoms - it makes no difference to me! I don't think having a weekly thread will make things "slow down" or easier to follow since people will still post and share frequently on the randoms, but if you think it'll help, go for it!

My sentiments exactly. The debate of weekly vs monthly seems to come up every month, and this has always been my stance on in.
This is the first month I'm trying my best with the randoms thread, but it's hard!!!
My random is that I'm having an issue with my c-section date. Right now, it's scheduled for 9/1, which is one day before the day to qualify for TK (essentially public pre-k)...I wanted to go the 2nd or later, but they didn't have any openings at my hospital. They had an opening on the 3rd at the hospital that's 25 minutes away (45 in traffic), but that's really inconvenient for my husband dealing with my daughter, dogs, and for all my family as well...he likes the date 9/1 better but I'm worried I'm going to regret closing the door on TK just for convenience reasons....so yah I'm torn...I'm on the waiting list for the 2nd, but that's about it...if we stick with the 1st, we will still keep this LO back for Kindergarten because my DD is 9/17 bday and will start K late, so we will just have to pay for private pre-k instead of the public TK program
Wednesday Bitchfest: I put in for a PTO day today and it got denied due to volume/number of people already off. So now I'm at work, my computer is broken, and I can't get any work done anyway. They should have let me be off
This baby is bouncing back and forth from my left side to my right side depending on the day. I wish he/she would just stay over to the left! I also played the game "Amniotic Fluid or Urine?" this morning. Lovely!
One of the supervisors in my office came up to me and asked if I heard what my sup was saying in their big meeting yesterday. I had already heard that my sup was thinking my EDD was end of November and he was talking about giving me new cases. This sup said that all the others looked at mine like he was crazy and said "look at her there is no way she is going three more months". Thanks guys.
Re: weekly randoms the only way I can see that changing how people keep up is just that they would give up on the previous week when a new one starts. I don't think it will change the number of posts or how often we post in this thread.
I've realized I've been reading along with the randoms but not commenting, feeling a little stalkerish. Mostly I'd echo everyone else. Yay for new babies in a week! I love seeing pics of Fin, I teared up big time with the last one, so precious! I'm also on the boat of I don't see what changing from Monthly to Weekly would do, I'm not opposed but eh.
My random is that TB just announced to me that it is my one year anniversary on here, which also means it has been a bit over a year since the first time we TTGP. I remember feeling so sad and dumb thinking I was going to be a SS and get knocked up our first try tracking.
I also prefer monthly randoms precisely because of what @AmMcc12 said. I think weekly posts will become quite choppy and people will give up on the previous week as soon as the new one gets posted.
My random: I'm going to get a massage this afternoon, then running errands with DD, and following that with early birthday dinner with a friend. All of this while DH and another guy work on putting the Sheetrock up in the nursery. Because I'm pregnant, I don't really feel guilty that he's going from work to work at home today while I enjoy my afternoon.
RE labor threads: I'm cool with whatever, having one pinned or individual threads, I was just asking if there was one because I thought that's what we were doing but I hope I won't need it for at least two weeks I've always said there's no better excuse for AWing than having a baby.
We definitely need to get some threads unpinned though.
RE randoms: we've already voted and weekly won, it was just never done. No harm in voting again in case the voting population has changed. I think weekly would have a few more posters, where people would feel more willing to jump in on page 2 or 3 on the 22nd of the month rather than page 87 at the same time. It doesn't happen to all of us but seeing such a large number of posts discourages people from participating. But it could fizzle out and people might end up going back to participating on just the other threads.
Chiming in regarding labor threads - I think each person should have their own individual also. It's completely ok to AW that you are in labor. Also, I really, really, really hope that this board will do birth stories/announcements as individual threads. It gives everyone a chance to comment, congratulate and celebrate OP and their baby. Also I LOVE reading birth stories.
On other boards they seem to just use the birth announcement thread and then all you can do is love tit. Please please please post your stories on the main board also ladies
Agreed with @Shiva14 POST YOUR BIRTH STORIES!!! Can who ever made the birth announcement thread add a note of encouragement to post their own birth story thread on the first page? I don't want to just love it! I want to love it, gush, congratulate, etc!
I think weekly randoms are a great idea. I am having trouble keeping up, although I guess if people post just as much I will still have just as much trouble! Maybe I should just stay home from work in favor of surfing the internet, that sounds perfect right about now.
@PSUBecky23 glad you're not having other symptoms - I bought a cheap blood pressure monitor on Amazon to help me rule out pre-e when I have random vision symptoms (prob also could be related to lack of sleep and a similar stressful job, although I cannot claim a toddler!) or a lot of swelling. Helps my peace of mind).
Wow took the morning off and have 4 pages to catch up on. Seems like we are definitely getting closer to more and more babies being born.
@PoodleDoodleOoo I didn't say anything spoilerish. Just asked if any read it.
Now going to to briefly discuss. Still no real spoilers.
@OBMommy@jas1982 I definitely enjoyed the story but it's also not the same as reading a Harry Potter novel. I can understand the comparisons to fan fiction as there were things that occurred in the play that just couldn't happen when taking the original books into account. It's very entertaining though and nice to get a glimpse of some favorite characters again. I still would have just preferred something written only by JK Rowling, whether a book or short story.
I'm so excited, I got a call that they are painting my townhouse today. Yay Moving in about 3 weeks, I'm almost all packed, FI hasn't started at all so I'll end up packing for him.

1 part watermelon strawberry seltzer
1 part Tropicana watermelon juice mix
1 cut up strawberry
sure could use some vodka, but it's pretty refreshing for now. I'm kind of guzzling it, so I thought I'd share.

If we decide to keep it monthly then it's fine too, just harder to keep up with these days.

I like the monthly randoms.
But whatever the group wants is fine by me

TL;DR: I don't care, I guess lol
I regret nothing. But still.
