TTC After a Loss

***July Two Week Wait!!***

Re: ***July Two Week Wait!!***

  • @SnobunnieMel Im so sorry. I feel you. For the first time in 6 weeks, I lost it hard last night. A friend of mine decided to announce her pregnancy via mass email replying all to my email about losing our baby to Triploidy at 13 weeks. When is she due? The same week as me. You can't make this shit up.

I emailed her to ask that she take me off the email so I wasn't subjected to a reply all nightmare and she replied back like I was being unreasonable to expect that someone not reply all to an email about my pregnancy loss with their own pregnancy announcement. One friend actually replied all and said "Yay so much happy news all around."

I'm actually going to a wedding next weekend with all of these people so that should be fun. Of the 8 of us on the email chain, 3 others have had 12+ week losses and I know will be very sympathetic to me. I mean it was just one of the most insensitive things that has happened to me post- muscarriage. This is why people don't open up about their losses because it really doesn't change anyone's behavior.

  • @snobunniemel I am so sorry that sucks. You deserve a very big delicious drink

@chloe97 that is one of the most insensitive things I have heard of. I can imagine thinking that using your loss email to announce a pregnancy is a good idea. It makes me angry just thinking about it. I am so sorry.
  • @chloe97 I have no words. That is absolutely terrible. I Can't wrap my head around someone not having the basic decency to see how f-ed up that is.

@SnobunnieMel I'm so sorry for your terrible weekend. I can't imagine how hard it has been. Hugs.
  • Omg @SnobunnieMel this is the one who was holding this weird second wedding? I don't know why but I had this AWFUL feeling when you were explaining your brutal weekend that she might be KU again. Well damn my shitty intuition, I really didn't want for that to be true, I'm so sorry that you were subjected to all that :(:(

And @chloe97 you have to be kidding me. Do you mean she didn't even start a fresh email to make her announcement??? And then had the gall to say YOU were being unreasonable? Wow. So sorry.

    Ugghhhhh I'm so tired :(
  • Playing catch up on the threads, all I can say is what the hell is wrong with people?

@chloe97 what your friend did was appalling and the fact that she can't see how insensitive her email was? Replying all to the thread??? I'm shaking my head in disbelief. I'm so sorry.

@SnobunnieMel that's just freakin terrible and awful and I'm so sorry. The universe is cruel sometimes. I'm glad your weekend is over and you don't have to deal with this anymore.

@rainbowturtles ugh sorry for the PMS symptoms and that you're not feeling well. Hope things turn around soon.

  • Ugh I saw all these new posts and I thought there would be happy news but nope just people being assholes, so sorry @SnobunnieMel and @chloe97.

Unfortunately I think I need to join you both in the rough weekend, wanting to bawl your eyes out, etc. I was at a wedding rehearsal dinner on Friday and someone I didn't know actually came up and rubbed my belly and said awww...WTF. I have put on a little weight..I'm 5'10, 152 lbs but I did not think my belly was big enough to be rubbed, grr. And then when I thought it couldn't get any worse my friend who was TTA bc her DH doesn't want a second kid BDd a cpl weeks ago for the first time in TWO MONTHS and he "pulled out" and of course she text me Saturday and told me she's pregnant. Ahhhhhhhh I've BDd like 40 times in the last two months, taken my temperature every single morning, pissed on a ton of OPKs and I still got BFN at 10dpo.

  • @SoonToBeMommaHowe I cannot believe someone touched your stomach! That is horrifying that anyone would ever think that was an acceptable behavior. Whether you looked mildly pregnant, which I highly doubt you do or were 9 months pregnant, not OK.
  • @soontobemommhowe that is so appalling! I'm like 3 inches shorter and 15 lbs heavier. I would feel so hot if I were your size! People are ridiculous!!!!!!

Im so sorry about the BFN, hopefully it's just too early and you will get a nice 2nd line tomorrow!
  • @SnobunnieMel I am so sorry your having to deal with that crap! I swear people are getting dumber and more insensitive daily!

Congratulations to the BFPs! I hope to join you on the grad thread...or I will just lurk to check in.

sorry for the BFNs here is some wishful thinking that next cycle is THE cycle.

@SoonToBeMommaHowe what?! I'm also 5'10" and around 150lbs, which although is a little higher than what I like to be, everyone thinks I'm crazy for even thinking that. What I mean is, it's not even close to overweight or looking pregnant! But regardless, as pp said, even if you were visibly 9 months pregnant, no one should EVER do that!!!! I'm so sorry. That would have sent me down the rabbit hole :'( (and by that I mean a very dark place)
  • @SnobunnieMel ughhh that sounds horrible, i hope you dont have to deal with them for a very long time.

  • @rainbowturtles sorry about the spotting this morning :(

Thank you all for the support. As much as both of those things sucked it really helped to know that I have a place to come and vent to people who truly understand. I honestly don't know what I'd do sometimes without this community.

@chloe97 and @rainbowturtles the worst part of something like that happening is that is really makes me want to sit on the couch with a tub of ice cream, you'd think it would piss me off and make me want to go to the gym. Lol

  • Thanks @Taggarab There was no spotting today but still am pretty certain I'm out and am kind of hoping AF will start tomorrow, otherwise the chances of hitting my next FW while DH is in town might start to diminish :/ It's so weird to be wanting AF instead of hating it but being in limbo when you're 99% sure you're not KU is also a weird place to be.
  • Got my cross hairs today, so I guess I'm "officially" 3 dpo. I thought I'd have enough to do this week to keep my mind busy but I guess SS has a damn mind of its own. Urg, felt twinges in my uterus yesterday and immediately started thinking it means I'm KU. Oh man I hope these next 8ish days fly by! (My LP is on the shorter side)

  • I'm sorry, I just don't know where else I can vent my frustration right now. I am having a fantastic triphastic cycle and 12DPO still negative tests. While I know in my mind this is a sign of a good cycle and good progesterone levels, part of me was getting my hopes up that this would mean pregnancy since they are so much more likely to mean pregnancy than not. Just so blah right now and I'm ready for CD 1 to get here so we can try again.

  • @Taggarab, I'm sorry about the BFN. I also got BFN a couple days ago but no AF. Your chart looks great, much cleaner than mine. My temps were actually gradually dropping and since today is 14dpo I figured I'd get an even lower temp and expect AF today but nope temp rose .5 degrees. They just love to mess with us. Here's mine (I think we're two of just a handful of ppl currently in the TWW)

How long is your LP typically?

@roper2617 Thanks. I was pretty hopefully until today, but I know a BFN on 12DPO or after is usually pretty accurate.

  •  @Taggarab sorry about the BFN. I would love to see that link that adjust temps for wake up times. I usually take my temp whenever I wake up first and I know the different wake up times throws it off, but usually I see the pattern I need to see.

I'm in the TWW, but benched and 14 DPO and no bleeding yet. This is super frustrating as I'm very worried about scarring after my D&C. If you have a 14 day LP, you start bleeding at 15dpo right? Does anyone have a 15 or 16 day LP? I'm not 100% sure about my ovulation date, but I would be surprised if it was any later b/c I did have a .4 temp jump and it rose very gradually after that .1 per day. I did test today just in case and it was a BFN. I'd be very surprised if my super thin lining (5.79mm) could support a pregnancy anyway.

Im currently 15dpo and thinking AF will be here sometime today as my temps dropped from 97.80 to 97.06 this morning. This would make my cycle 48 days with my last two being 45 and 50 days. How do I freakin shorten these things?!

I'm sorry about AF, but also jealous @SoonToBeMommaHowe. I thought AF was going to start last night. I even had a smidge of blood on Tp last night. My temp still is hovering in my post-o temp range at 15 DPO. This is SO frustrating. Why can I not bleed!?!? I don't have 16 day LP so I'm praying it's a cyst that's causing the progesterone levels to stay high.
  • Sorry about the no AF @chloe97. Isn't it crazy how we Want completely different things? I do understand your frustration to some extent, my last three cycles have been 50, 45 and now 47 days. If I keep up this pace I'm only gonna have 3 more cycles in 2016 and that would mean only 8 cycles for the entire year. Thinking about only three more chances makes me start to doubt a 2016 BFP. Today has been a tough one to say the least  :'(
