For those that uphold the "drink til it's pink" view, how many drinks is ok? I know mom and baby don't share a blood supply for several weeks but what it the general consensus? I am dpo8 and enjoying a beverage or 2 for DHs birthday. When should I be wary? It's Vegas after all.
  • Options
@SnobunnieMel my rule is generally if it's a special occasion 1 or 2 drinks would be fine. Have a great time :)

I'm back from a little social media hiatus and officially in the tww at 9dpo! No bsc yet but lots of mixed emotions about this cycle.

For anyone else that has taken progesterone suppositories, I expect symptoms that mimic pregnancy ones, but when did those start for you? I have been on them almost a week with crazy dreams and frequent ruination since the first day. Out of nowhere now I have crazy sore boobs today and not sure if it's from the meds. I am trying to avoid SS and blaming the progesterone would make that so much easier.
  • Options
@SnobunnieMel I didn't have many symptoms from the progesterone (endomestrium inserts) aside from frequent urination and increased emotional response right from the start. I also had an increase in CM about 7-10 days in which really put me over the crazy edge.  On the IF board people have much more pronounced "pregnancy" symptoms than I did in response to this. I generally have very little side effects from any medications so I'm not the best person to judge off of.
  • Options
@BornReady I haven't either other than the urination so this is starting to tip my very mellow 10 days I've been having so far

@lilylover27 @roxgibbons I'm sorry that it didn't work out this month. Hope you ladies are holding up ok. FX for both of you this new cycle.

@SnobunnieMel I know we've talked about this before, but YES, my body is definitely feeling things I don't normally experience, probably due to the progesterone. The constant vivid dreams are the most glaring, but starting at 9 DPO my breasts also became sore, which usually never happens. I'm using progesterone cream, so it's surprising that only a dime-sized dollop twice a day can have such an effect. I got a BFN at 10 DPO, and today I'm 13 DPO with high temps still. AF is scheduled to arrive tomorrow, but I'll test again Wednesday (15 DPO) if she doesn't show.

@SnobunnieMel I had scary vivid dreams when I was taking progesterone. Like so vivid I would yell in my sleep. Also crazy acne. Other than that I don't remember any other crazy symptoms.

Congraduatltions to those who got their BFP!!!

I just began the two week wait, and already feel the urge to symptom spot! Of course I had to look up my EDD, then plan how I would tell my family according!! Gracious this is a vicious cycle.

    edited July 2016
pretty sure i'm out. i tested this afternoon at 11dpo and bfn. I'm actually a tiny bit relieved because i was having some hardcore ovary/tube area pains yesterday and a few days earlier in the week and was freaking the fuck out that i was having another ectopic so i'll gladly take a bfn over that concern. i'll hang around til af shows.

    edit- bfn, not bfp.

I'm finally 3 DPO, got my cross hairs today. I keep comparing to my pregnancy cycle. My temps were high at 3 DPO and they were not today. I'm probably out, frustrating. FF said with my timing again this cycle chances were good but not for me I guess. It also pisses me off filtering FF for age & timing- all it tells me is people in their early 30's conceive immediately or it takes them over a year. There's a hugeeee disparity that causes the "7 month average". It's more like a bar bell distribution curve where people either concieve immediately or it takes over a year. Sorry- super frustrated today. It's likely because I'm stressed as hell and my awful job I can't quit.

According to FF and P tracker today should be the beginning of my FW and it's only CD 16 for me and I have never Oed this early before. I guess I'm going to keep testing the next couple days and see what happens. Thanks body for confusing me yet again and forever keeping me on the edge of my seat

Well my temps are a little back to normal now. Our dog peed all over the bed and so the comforter was gone for a week and we had fleece blankets instead. Like an idiot I didn't think about that being the cause of my lower than normal temps
