I'm sorry @SnobunnieMel . I'm 12dpo and haven't tested yet but my temp dropped this morning and I'm having lower back pain, so I think AF is near. I have a wedding Saturday too and am thinking about testing that morning so I can make sure I can have a drink or two. Sending hugs

  • Thanks everyone.

There is no way this wedding will be any type of enjoyable. It's my SIL, who is already married. They got married on their boat last summer when she got knocked up while on BC. And had to be talked into keeping it. This is not even on their 1 year and is a 400 person event for attention. THe even shittier is I know she will be KU within like a week now. She was only waiting to try again util after she could drink at the "wedding". Their family is super fertile and I know she will be announcing before e can probably get any type of progress. His family has tons of drama including his parents recently getting back together. I hate my FIL and we are trapped in the same large sleeping room with them and DHs 3 other older siblings. Just trying to make it through my 15 surgeries today for the 3 hour red eye flight and then 2 hour drive to the middle of no where Wisconsin

    Sorry @cmmiller531 too :(

I might cave and test tomorrow but if I don't have any crazy SS today then I'll try to hold off until Sunday. DH has a ten day away trip starting Monday so I'd rather find out when he's here, if possible! (If I said this already, apologies...my brain lately!)

My "totes KU" story for yesterday is: You know this sweet little angel?
well, sometimes she can be a giant B! She and the pug always steal my spot when I get up. Now if I physically try to move Penny when no other dog is around, she seems okay, far as I can tell...she just ragdolls and is no help at all, but doesn't seem too bothered. But for some reason, if Wilbur is close by, she gets very upset and snaps at him, almost as if HE is the one moving her. I really don't understand it (she's a rescue, but the behavior itself doesn't quite make sense to me).

Anyways, this happened at one point last night and she ended up scratching me VERY hard on the chest (above my sore boobs, thank god, but still REALLY hurt) as she tried to give Wilbur crap. I reacted with my usual scruffing of her neck and scolding her, nothing crazy. I made her sit on the floor for a few minutes instead of just curling up on the other side of the love seat. Nothing extreme, right?

But for some reason I started crying uncontrollably like she was going to hate me and because I was sad she'd hurt me and sad I had to get mad at her  :D Poor DH didn't know what was going on! I just muttered "I'm hormonal" lol But obvs I'm totes KU, right??!! LOL

So I caved and POAS, talk about impulse. I'm 12dpo and was feeling hopeful until my temp dip today and I just got a BFN.  I see my RE tomorrow morning so I'm hoping to get some answers... This cycle and last I had large enough follicles for a trigger and we BD when the doctor said to, am I missing something?? I know it could take many months of this before I get a positive but the last two times I got KU there was no trigger or specific BD time, just our best judgement.
I was feeling all zen-like until about 5 minutes ago...ugh

*edited because my bsc self can't type today
  • Yay!! @SoonToBeMommaHowe! That's what my 7 dpo draw was the week I got pregnant!  Very strong!  Also, it's a good sign that you actually ovulated when you thought you did and not earlier.

Thank you @brooklyngirl18, @rainbowturtles and @chloe97!!! I am so very excited, I was just crossing my fingers that she would give me something near 10 and then when she said over 14 I couldn't believe it!

@chloe97 way to feed the crazy  :D The nurse I spoke with asked me if I had taken a test yet and then told me I should since I was on cd40...just reassurance that even she doesn't understand that DPO is more important than CD

  • And the icing on my very difficult TTC day: our flight tonight, DH and I were just about the only people who didn't have 5+ kids with them on the flight. Every. Single. Person. Under the age of 40 had multiple kids. And there were over 12 babies under 6 months. We counted. It wa so bad that even DH was getting upset and hurt by it and he usually keeps his cool about that kind of thing. I have been depressed all day and he could tell I was on the verge of a breakdown. It helped that he showed I wasn't being irrational about it.

  • I'm sorry about the plane ride. I truly think infertility/loss/trouble TTC is one of the more difficult hurdles in life that until you've lived it, you never understand. And those reminders that not everyone experienced this crap, just suck. Wishing you and DH well this weekend, we're always here for a vent amidst the festivities. Hope that cabin at least has WiFi.

  • So sorry @SnobunnieMel :(

I know it's still early and our chances are slim if at all this cycle but damned if that BFN this morning wasn't still more depressing than I expected :/
  • Congrats to all you with BFPs this month!! How exciting!! I have been off of the boards for a while since our chemical in June. This month, I had an unexpected death in my family that we had to travel for, and missed our window because of logistics, and just not feeling up to it after dealing with what happened to my family member.  It's been a sad month to say the least. I am in my TWW now but know there is nothing this time around. Hoping that next month we will be physically and emotionally ready to try again once things settle down. Next window is early August. Best wishes to all of you ladies!

  • 12dpo, no real symptoms aside from unreasonable bitchiness, which is likely PMS. Also, same low temp as yesterday. I've already bought chocolate and gf mac and cheese in anticipation of AF.
  • Still waiting on AF after stopping progesterone. Evil bitch SIL announced she's pregnant today at the after wedding brunch. Currently drinking on the drive to the airport and plan on continuing all flight. Couldn't even make it through her make up wedding without being KU again.
