My dress fits that I ordered for my maternity photos! Wahoo! I'm getting my hair cut and higlighted for the first time in ages this Friday and my nails done. I can't wait to pamper myself a little! 

I am hoping I will be able to successfully teach DH how to use my camera and frame shots. It will be a good test run for the hospital.

I can't believe we are moving right on into another month this week! My registry has a countdown so I checked it yesterday and it is 50 days until my due date and 43 days until they *should* schedule my c section. 

On that note, I'm still not ready, mentally, to have this baby. I was probably more prepared as a FTM with DD than this time around.

Not sad about moving into another month, I'm over working from home. I peed 5 times last night and I'm exhausted. I'm not rushing this little guy, but I can totally cheer for another month down. This momma is tired and achey!

I have been arguing (over text) with MIL all morning! She is driving me crazy and because DH won't answer her, I am getting to deal with it. It is Monday, I am tired and hot, I am pregnant and hormonal. I don't even want to talk to her for fear I will say something out loud that I should keep to myself.

I think my husband is nesting.  It's highly probably that I have cholestasis again this pregnancy, which would mean baby arriving in 3-4 weeks, max.  When I told him this last week he used his half day Friday (lucky guy has summer hours at work) to sand the paint off our deck off our master and stain the wood, strip our front door from the layers of orange, white, red, green and yellow paint and stain it and caulk the stairs he replaced (in March) before painting them.  The freezer meal I wanted to make, didn't happen.  All of the laundry is done, but still in the baskets because I was on toddler duty all weekend long.  Exhausted. But our door looks great!

I'm a total mess today.  DD moved up to the 2 year old room to start the summer - it's technically camp and then they switch back to school the beginning of September.  But I'm a blubbery mess!  I didn't even cry, not one tear, when I left her for the first time when I came back to work after maternity leave.  But this, moving up to 2 year old camp, is what makes me cry.  WTF is wrong w/me?? lol

I'm not sure why I always wait till I'm pregnant to start projects that have been needing done for years. But here is the beginning of my latest project. Fyi, it's not even for baby!!

@SkiChic626  DD turned 2 on Saturday.  My timehop app is killing me. We took her home from the hospital 2 years ago today, and had her 1st birthday party last year on the 27th. Also its my 31st bday. So I'm a hot mess basically.

@midwestbaby He seriously is and has probably been the best surprise of our marriage.  I didn't know how handy he was until we bought a house! We lived in a condo when we were first married.

@SkiChic626 I almost cried dropping DS off today too! He's been so clingy and teary when I bring him to daycare, which I can usually handle fine, but today I just wanted to cry and take him home! I'm blaming hormones

@texasmama2014 Happy Birthday!

OMG yes! DD has been so sweet and clingy too. This morning she woke up super early and DH put her in bed with us, she laid next to me and rubbed my arm. It was the sweetest thing, she's very independent and never that way. When I was getting her ready for the day I wanted to just keep her and tell work too bad so sad, my 2 year old likes me today lol.

It is seriously freaking me out how many moms are ending up with c-sections from the June and July boards. I have only ever given birth vaginally and have never had surgery of any kind (knock on wood). I am super scared of it happening to me.

Happy birthday to all you ladies!

DH left for a week trip to China yesterday... so many tears. I'll only be 32 weeks this week, so I'm not worried about anything baby related, but he is missing our last sonogram which makes me sad. Instead of wallowing in it, I decided to take on a paint project in DD's big girl room. We are ripping out all flooring and gutting the jack and jill bath between DD and baby boy's bedroom, so I figured it was a good time to give it a go since paint splatter doesn't matter. I am 100% not crafty, can't make a thing off of Pinterest, but decided this would be a fun project to help keep DD and I preoccupied. She is "painting" with me. Attaching a picture of how I want it to end up... the lines are a purple tone though since it is DD's favorite color. Fingers crossed I can do this!

Woohoo I didn't realize I had vacation left! So, since it rolls over next week I will be taking the rest of this week off!! woohoo

DH is finishing his PhD dissertation this summer-- he is done writing, but waiting on his supervisor to give him his revisions.  He only has three weeks until he has be done all of the edits, and his supervisor is being super slow.  As if that weren't stressful enough, DH told me this weekend that if he does submit on the last day, his defense (4 hour oral exam where he will be unavailable/unreachable if I go into labour) will be scheduled for August 24.  My due date is August 29! Yikes.

I don't qualify for FMLA yet because I started my new job in October. Last week I asked if I could have 2 weeks unpaid after my 6 weeks short term disability coverage gets used up, and after talking to the VP of HR my boss told me they will cover it and pay me 100% for the two weeks as long as I put in a few hours to start re-adjusting. I work from home, so this is totally doable. Woohoo!

I finally found a take-home outfit for the baby! It was a little more than I wanted to spend, but it is absolutely adorable. What sold me is we're doing a nautical theme for the boys' room and the outfit/blanket is covered in little anchors  I feel like I'm finally getting things a little together.

I hadn't been feeling baby move today so just now I kinda poked and prodded my belly a bunch and sure enough, baby woke up and moved around a bit! I feel kind of bad for disturbing his sleep for my own peace of mind. On second thought, he's going to be disturbing my sleep for months to come, so I think it's ok.

Holy moly... I just had a prenatal massage and it was amazing! Why did I wait so late to do this? This is the best my back has felt in weeks!

@Snaps816 I do that all the time! DH and I are "getting baby ready" by poking and annoying the baby... ever since week 15... we're hoping that will lead to a super tolerant baby lol
