  • Good luck everyone!! I can't wait to see the updates!
  • @entropicallyfavored I actually woke up this morning feeling very off. It could just be stress induced (my thoughts go a mile a minute these days), but I was up half the night with intense pelvic pressure. I'm only 37+2 so I am not too confidant. I love looking at all these birth announcements though!
    Married: 1/7/15
    DS: 1/27/15
    BFP: 12/10/15
EDD: 8/14, but will go for c-section 8/7

  • @amandazap Hope you feel better!  Fill up your gas tank and buy some groceries just in case (can't hurt, right?).
  • So many congrats and good luck for a healthy and safe delivery to everyone!!! I'm so jealous seeing all of these posts what with having two labor scares this past week, but it just makes it all more real seeing all these labor and birth posts :)

Update: because my water broke before contractions they're inducing me. I will be getting either the pill or the Foley catheter and then eventually pitocin. I am having mild contractions but not strong enough. Hopefully this process doesn't take forever!
I'm a bad labor buddy to just see this and your message!  I hope all is going well!

  • @amandazap I was the same way last night and I am going to take @entropicallyfavored advice and grocery shop after work tonight!
  • @jacmkelley @AmandaG225
    Congrats! Welcome Peter! Welcome Andrew!

@lucypod Good luck for a quick, smooth delivery!

  • Congrats new mamas! So many cute new little squishes... Keep 'em coming!
  • Well contractions got to 6 minutes apart. My doctor said to call back when they hit the 5-1-1 rule and when they take my breath away. They were uncomfortable, a lot of back pain but not the worst. Decided to go to bed, got a few hours of sleep and I guess they stalled out. FTM here so I guess I can chalk it up to false labor?! Woke up with more throughout the night but not much this morning. Sorry for the false alarm peeps :( going to go run around at work today. Ugh, I got pretty excited last night - now just feeling defeated.
  • @jkershaw2013 Aw, that sounds frustrating! Baby is just keeping you on your toes

  • @jkershaw2013 ugh so frustrating! I hope things start back up soon!

  • Update: I'm going back home. I contracted pretty regularly through the night but they got significantly less painful after midnight and I was able to get some sleep. He said to come back in if they get super painful again or if my water breaks. If I'm still having regular contractions as of tomorrow and I am uncomfortable then they would be ok giving me pitocin to help get things going. They just won't do it before tomorrow because that's when I hit 37w.
  • @Curls919 I hope you get some rest while you're home. Not sure if you're hoping they kick back up or if you're hoping your LO stays put longer! I know I was ready last week at 37 weeks to get the show on the road! Thinking of you!
  • @skelly1990 yay, good luck!
