@alyssajrob22 I'm good and still with an inside baby! I'm on meds to prevent contractions, so we're hoping everything stops progressing. Thanks for thinking of me!
@Bookhousegirl I was just getting caught up from being off the bump over the weekend. I am so glad to see baby is still on the inside. Take it easy momma!
@alyssajrob22 I just switched over to the Honest Company belly butter and that seems to help with the itch. I was using coco butter prior.
I've been using this since second trimester and love it. Although I don't think I could have handled the smell in the first trimester.

@Bookhousegirl did they give you magnesium to stop the contractions? That's what they gave me (though it obviously didn't work for me). It made me feel all hot and dizzy and gave me major dry mouth. Nasty stuff. Of course, it's worth it if it keeps baby in!

They put me on Procardia every 4hrs. My contractions stopped pretty quickly once I had IV hydration so they're thinking it was more stress/circumstantial than full blown labor contractions. I think my staying on it is more of a precaution at this point, but I'll do whatever they say if it means I can keep this baby cooking!
I also was on magnesium the whole day on Thursday as high as 3.5, it slowed my contractions down but they just got stronger... They said it bought me enough time to get two steroid shots in though and that was much needed.
@Allisun85 and @midwestbaby Thanks for the suggestion!! I will go look for some of that tomorrow. I tried coconut oil tonight and it seemed to help with the irritation and itchiness, but super oily.
