Hey guys! Sorry! It's been so hectic. Yes Viktoria was born on New Year's Eve. :-) she is a big baby at 8lbs, 14oz and 22 inches long. After pushing for 2.5 hours they told me I had about two more hours of pushing left and it still wasn't a guarantee that the baby would come out. So I basically begged for a c section. Recovery is going as expected i guess but my little girl is just my life right now. I can't stop kissing her. Pm me on here for my Instagram name so we can keep in touch. :-)

I went in for my 36W appointment today and Dr. said I was 1cm dilated and 50% effaced. Baby is head down (very low) but my cervix is still pretty far back. The Dr. doesn't think I'll go to 40 weeks, but maybe 38W. I also know that it's a bit of anyone's guess (including the doctors) so who the heck knows!

Last week there was no change to my cervix, but the last day or so I've had some pretty strong BH so we'll see what they say! My doula reminded me last week that things can change pretty quickly, so be ready at any time. I can't believe how close we all are!

@Knottie1432834683 appointment went well, thank you for asking! Yes 38 weeks, well, 39 tomorrow (Saturday). He is not much further along than he was last week. This is getting crazy, my docs and everyone were certain he would be early by a few weeks, but he seems content! Doc does not want me going much past 40 weeks tho, so tentatively, unless something happens sooner, they will start the inducing process on the 15? So 40+1.

@Griffin5413 it is pretty cool to have started this all together. Having support can make all the difference in the world. I've been trying not to stress about getting stuff done around the house. For some reason I am trying to do it all and it's making me a little nutty. My husband keeps on stressing that being a mom is a full time job. He's been very supportive.
@Joyzie77 -I'm the same way about feeling like I need to get everything done when some days it's all I can do to take care of a baby and try to sleep when he does. DH is the same way but it doesn't help me feel better. Lol

I don't think I ever posted an update here - we welcomed baby Aiden into the world last Thursday. This week has been very overwhelming and crazy but we're hanging in there and trying to figure out this whole parenting thing. It's certainly not easy, but then I look at his sweet face and think that this whole process was so worth it. I can't believe looking at the name of this thread that it was just April/May and we were all just going through our transfers. And now we're welcoming our LOs. It's amazing!

The c-section was successful! Everything was good, then they noticed that his heartbeat was irregular and he's being observed. This has been going on for several hours. I haven't seen him since then, but the family has been checking up to find out when the doctor is checking him.
I'm still a bit disconnected, but I feel comfortable that he is in good hands.
Since I think this is a public board I might share the pics and name privately instead of posting here.
@lynnnj good luck!! Thinking of you!! @tulips29 I know right. And congrats!! Ivf seems so long ago. I hope my labor and delivery will reach that point too. Lol. Pics of Viktoria are on my IG if anyone wants to see. Just PM me and I'll give you my username.

Wishing everybody luck as they deliver their babies. This experience has changed me, but it has also been the most difficult week of my life from the hospital experience to the adjustment at home, extreme feelings of anxiety, exhaustion, and some of the stress we've had at home surrounding this, and the sudden change in my life feeling like I returned to a life that was unfamiliar and not mine. Thankfully taking care of the baby has beenothing but enjoyable. and rewarding in ways I couldn't imagine. I can't believe he's ours!
@LynnNJ hope you doing ok. It's so nice to hear the baby is so enjoyable. I know the first few weeks can be tough and overwhelming but if you're still feeling constant anxiety and exhaustion and having problems sleeping, don't be afraid to talk to your doctor about it. I've had similar anxiety even prior to the birth about the fact that I'll never be my old "self" again so I think its very normal feelings. But if you're anxiety is getting in the way of sleeping and other things, definitely seek out additional support.
I'm at 38W1D today and as of yesterday was 2CM dilated and 90% effaced. We're ready for him to come any time now!

Thanks for the support everyone. I'm more relaxed, the shock is wearing off, and can finally sleep. Sure, I'm lacking sleep since I'm sleeping and waking at odd hours, but at least I don't feel that intense anxiety.

#2 FET, Sept. 2015, SET MC@8 wks with D&C in November 2015.
13 remaining blasts sent for PGS testing. 1 did not survive the thaw. 6 came back normal from PGS.
#3 FET 5/16/16 SET - BFP 5/20/16 Beta's looked great and so did ultrasounds- officially released to my OB! EDD 2/1/17.
