  • I had a weird moment this morning. After PIO and synthroid (thyroid med), I started to have some pretty severe cramping along with some bowel issues. Lasted for about 10 to 15 minutes, and then went away. Was freakin out there for a min. Felt like the kind of cramps I get with AF. Anyone else experience something similar?? Maybe it's a side effect of the synthroid? No clue, but I'm glad it's over now. Pretty worrisome.

  • @babylonghorn16 I had some cramping that I thought were similar to Aunt Flo with the PIO and progesterone vaginal capsules. It lasted on and off during the pio's. Im still taking the progesterone capsules but haven't noticed the cramping as bad as it was. Hope that helps? Maybe would be best to contact your RE or nurse and let then know what's up! Good luck!
  • @babylonghorn16 - hope you're feeling better and the cramping hasn't returned!

  • Thanks @Sunflower5678 @Happydays13 ! Feeling much better. No recurrence, so must've just been something I ate. I emailed my nurse also, and she said it could've been the synthroid... since I have to take it on an empty stomach and wait an hour before eating. She didn't seem too concerned! Can't wait until sonogram so I can put some of these fears to rest!

  • I finally got the call from my clinic after todays blood draw. Everything is looking great, which means I got to schedule my first sonogram for this Friday! Unfortunately, I don't get to reduce any of my meds, which means 2mL of PIO every day. Yay! I wonder if I should ask about doing 1 in the morning and 1 in the evening. Does anyone else break theirs up?

  • @Happydays13 Oh my. My doc was concerned when mine was down at 18, hence the increase to 2mL. My level today was 51, and I still can't reduce. Your doc must be okay with yours at that level. I think mine is trying really hard to make sure I don't have a miscarriage because of low Pro (not the cause of my last one, but just in case). It may also be because my beta today was holy shit high, which may indicate multiples, which requires a higher Pro level.

  • @AandDM2014 - i was just scrolling back through your posts to see if you had said how many you had transferred....that was going to be my next question! when is your next ultrasound? is your doctor telling you to do anything differently now?
  • @caseyw8784 Yeah, with only having three left and none of the other transfers resulting in a pregnancy, we thought it would be safe to transfer them all. I haven't gotten the call back from my clinic, but I'm assuming I'll go in again next Friday. The doc I saw today didn't tell me to do anything differently, but he isn't my doctor. Once my nurse calls I'll definitely be asking her if I should be doing anything differently (especially since I've been so darn starving the past week).

  • @AandDM2014  thats amazing and scary all at once, i am going to be putting in 2 on my next FET and the concern of both of them multiplying making 4 is highly unlikely but i have the same thoughts like you said you have done 6 so far and only 1 stuck but now of course all 3 stuck! what are the odds?!

  • Wow!!! Congrats x 3!!!
  • @rmarble23 I don't image it was likely that all three would stick, especially since in every previous transfer they took the best looking ones, meaning these were the three worst looking ones overall. Just goes to show you that you can't trust how the embryos look!

    Thanks @heidis1!

  • @wifeinraleigh28 Yeah, we were kinda expecting one or two to take, definitely not all three! The doctor I saw on Friday said that they usually choose to do selective reduction after doing a CVS or amnio to see how each one is doing, and if one is looking wrong, they'll take that one out. I haven't yet seen an OB, so I don't know what they'll say. If things are still looking good on Thursday I'll go in to Kaiser for blood work and to get a first appointment set up. One of the three was smaller with a slower heart, so we're gonna watch that one and see what happens. It is quite possible one or two will stop growing on their own, so it won't be a problem. I'll wait to see what my OB says before we make any final decisions. Having three means moving closer to family, which means moving away from DHs job (he is mostly remote, but does go in occasionally). We plan to cross that bridge when we get there.

  • Thanks @wifeinraleigh28! I'm kinda hoping the decision will be made for me in the form of one stopping growing, but at the same time I kinda want all three to make it, but then having three at once terrifies me, so I'd prefer two. I go back and forth throughout the day as to how I want things to go.

  • TW, mc discussed

Hi ladies. I stopped back by to say hello and check in with everyone. I'm sort of crawling out of the sadness caused by losing my tiny one. It really took a lot out of me. I started my period 4 weeks after my d/c. My dr office was completely booked for appointments so I'll be on bc for 3 weeks while waiting for my appt to have another saline infused ultrasound. Hopefully I'll be able to do another FET very soon; we are so ready to try again. I'll come back then. Hugs to everybody :)

@emgem819 I'm so sad to hear your news. I just went through the same awfulness. I am so sorry.

@wifeinraleigh28 I've been thinking about you too! Your FET will be here before you know it. FX for you.
